So very accommodating! Very gracious as I had asked for a special location and they made sure I had it.😊
Brunch: I really like the brunch at Coqeette. $2 mimosas and the French Toast is very good ! Nice restaurant !
Dinner: I had the filet mignon last time I was there and it's very good as well. I thought the sides (potatoes and mushrooms) were very uninspiring though. My date and I had several drinks and dinner with no dessert. With tip it as around $115. I know it's a pricier restaurant. I think I'll stick to brunch though because I feel there's more value there as I was a bit underwhelmed with dinner aside from the tasty filet.
We enjoyed our dinner meal so much that while we were up in the area the next day we had lunch there as well.
Your wine by the glass needs several lower price options.
Great food and great service! Highly recommended for lunch.
Great, authentic french food, from a french. I definitely recommend.
Love this restaurant. It is the go-to place to meet my friends. The food is excellent and
lives up to the my idea of French cuisine. Service is always excellent. The atmosphere is fabulous - a Raleigh gem.
We always enjoy our meal at Coquette. I was very disappointed when I asked our waitress to package the remainder of my meal. She took my plate which was 2/3 full and never brought the package back to me.
Fabulous ambiance for a casual lunch. Eating lunch at Coquette is like a small escape to Paris in the middle of the day.
Excellent food. Unbelievable breads and desserts. Service is prompt but unobtrusive.
Went there on a Monday for lunch with some business associates and had a great experience. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was excellent and very well presented. The deserts were also beautiful and artfully presented. Overall - a perfect meal!!
Can't wait to go back for drinks and dinner!
Our ‘go to’ date night destination!
It was good
One of our favourite spots! Excellent food and service at reasonable prices!!!
Server was extremely informative and knew the menu well. Service was superb. Nice ambiance
Everyone got quiche except for me and it was perfect as always! I got the chicken paillard - the salad was great but the chicken was hard and dry. This is the second time I have ordered this salad and second time the chicken was over cooked. This is such a good restaurant- just don’t order anything with chicken!
We had reserved a table by the window and they had the perfect table for us. The service was excellent, as always, and the food was wonderful. It's the best French restaurant around.
Too many people and too loud
Little bit of a wait, even with reservations, we were placed in the back area, which was also a little disappointing, but quieter.
Food was perfect and our server was very attentive! Recommend a great meal! We were all very happy!
Food was ok, but I have had better flatbreads. Our waiter was wonderful.
Food was spectacular, service great. It was a wonderful evening.
Met friends who had never been there. They enjoyed it as did we. One of our favorites.
Saturday lunch at Coquette Brasserie was delightful with open floor to ceiling windows open for the lovely spring temps and a view of the restaurant's seasonal flowers. Menu for lunch had great choices at moderate prices and good wine selection--we had wine with the lunch. Bread and butter for table was added delight. Service excellent.
Very good service and management attentiveness.
I started with their signature French onion soup, which was awesome. I chose their featured entree, which consisted of sliced lamb pieces complimented with some veggies; it was good however not spectacular; the lamb was a little tough but tasty. The service was great, provided by Kirstin who should be recognized by Management; it was quite busy and Kirstin was very attentive to every table's needs. I've mostly dined here for Sunday brunch and I'll be back again.
Loved the food and ambiance! Was a gorgeous night and the doors in restaurant were open, so it felt extra special!
Always excellent service and great!
A delightful evening on our first visit to Coquette Brasserie. Lovely, quintessentially French bistro ambiance and menu (albeit with more space between the tables than usual - a good thing). Daily specials listed on the left side of the menu (Bouillabaisse on Monday!) and some classic bistro dishes such as coq au vin, boeuf bourguignon and, of course, duck. Though disappointed not to see cassoulet on the menu there are more than enough options. M friend and I shared the Market Fish (Amberjack) and Duck Breast entrees, after polishing off the amazing steak tartare along with the 2016 St Cosme Syrah, Cotes du Rhone. Fairly extensive wine list to meet most anyone's desires (with California, South American and Australian wines), though we would be perfectly happy with a solid list of French wines. We would have preferred more time between our hors d'oeuvres and entrees, as we were not quite finished when the entree arrived. I definitely look forward to going back multiple times. It was a delightful evening with great food, good wine, and perfect company. A special touch - family photos lining the back wall. Very definitely a French bistro!
Love this little spot. I come here any chance I get - always good for brunch or dinner.
My wife and I dined here on 2/17/18 as a late Valentine's Day date. Things did not start out great, but did pick up. I ordered the Escargot as an appetizer. They were somewhat rubbery with very little taste. For the main dish, I had the seafood crepe, which my wife and I both enjoyed. She was sharing mine because of the second issue - her main dish, the scallops were seared almost to the point of being burnt. A new plate was brought out with a lighter sear and we both enjoyed them. They did top off my wife's first glass of wine and gave us both complimentary second glasses. I think that is a professional way to handle that situation. For dessert, we shared peppermint ice cream with chocolate sauce in some sort of a soft shell. It was very good. The service was very attentive. I think the décor leaves a little to be desired. The prices were mostly reasonable, even without accounting for the $20.00 Open Table coupon we had.
Although we made the reservation for the wrong night the hostess worked us in very quickly.
Coquette is a fantastic restaurant. The food is great. I recommend their charcuterie. Dinner for two is on the high-side (about $100 with a glass of wine). This may not be your go-to place because it’s expensive, but it’s definitely worth going to for brunch, or any special occasion (birthday, anniversary, or a first date). The service is prompt and very professional. I would say the servers are more formal than familiar. That’s not a criticism.
The atmosphere is a classic French bistros, with black & white tile floor, wood chairs, and round marble tables (without table cloths). The bar is amazing. It’s large, with a metal top, near the center of the restaurant. It’s well designed, with a shelves that allow patrons to see the alcohol while either sitting at the bar, or sitting at a dinner table. The bartenders make a good Old Fashioned, and the restaurant is stocked with a decent selection of bourbon. It’s definitely worth visiting Coquette for a cocktail.
In the spring and summer the restaurant opens their large windows near the front of the restaurant. While the view looks out onto the parking lot and Six Forks road beyond, it still provides a certain amount of flair.
Went there for a late Valentine's Day celebration. Food was excellent and the atmosphere is romantic. We both loved it. Never have been disappointed.
We love Coquette. The first and service are always first-rate and so is the atmosphere.
Great food with a French flare. Portions are not big, but very tasty. This is a great upscale restaurant without the same old food from typical restaurants.
The escargot was not fresh. The olive and date dish was served with no dates; when asked about the dates the server said they ran out earlier in the evening yet he never told us this when we ordered the dish. The rest of the food was tasty. No compensation was given to us which would be expected in a fine dining establishment. I would rather spend my money in another place. St Jaques off of Falls of Neuse is a much better choice for French food .
Wonderful meal! Impressive children’s menu as well.
We went there for lunch on Valentine's day and it was a delightful experience. We told our waiter that we would share each others meal, so they brought the courses out one at a time split, so it became a 5 course tasing menu. It was great. Also, the wine list will always surprise you with some unique high quality offerings. It was great! We will be back soon
