Croquette de pollo and the sunny side up huevo were the two star dishes of our night- yummy!
Everything about this place was great. Except our server was a bit of a rush. Didn’t really take the time to explain the dishes, any specials just rushing us along.
Amazing food, place is noisy, which was ok for me, but be aware if you’re looking for quieter places.
Services very good as well.
The food was terrible. The tapas we had were either tasteless or WAY too salty. The tapas were a bit pricey. Had they been tasty, the price would not have been so painful. I paid a lot and got small servings of garbage. My dining companion felt exactly the same. McDonald’s truly would have been better tasting and I’m not a fan of McDs.
This place is perfect in everyway. Food, service, scenery and music. And the drinks, perfect. Dennis was our waiter. Spot on with the recommendations. Let him know the chick I was with was someone I brought here about 5 years ago. He told me they're just having their 5 year opening anniversary. Worked out perfect. Brought us out some amazing dessert on the house. Amazing. Thanks Dennis
very good food and the staff is excellent. Very attentive and an overall great experience
Great location! Food was very good. Server was good but seemed rushed and business like. No personality. Drinks were well made. Overall, very good dining experience.
Loved Coqueta, great cocktails, paella and ambiance.
Coqueta is a favorite of ours, but we selected it on this particular occasion because it was my birthday and they sent me a coupon for a free birthday dessert. We always share the tapas and order the same ones over and over again -- don't think we have ever even tried an actual entree because the tapas are so good. Their Patatas Bravas are the best we have ever had -- small and crispy, fabulous texture and flavor. The wait staff is both efficient and charming, and she actually brought us TWO free desserts, as a special treat. I highly recommend this place and go there often.
Great place to share food with dinner companions. The food was delicious and seasoned well. They seemed to portion the food based on our group size. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Only negative would be that there were only two bathrooms for the entire restaurant so there was a lineup every time one of us went to the bathroom. Unique approach to doggy bags in that they give you a baggage claim tag and you pick up your leftovers on your way out!
Pricey for small tapas portions, but inventive and tasty!
Fun, clean eating, perfect amount of food to share. First rate dining!!!
Great meal! Server was amazing! Great cocktails. Great atmosphere!
It was our first visit to this restaurant. Our waiter couldn't have been less enthusiastic as he seemed to treat us almost with disdain.
At 7:30 pm they were out of both kinds of sangria which is odd for a Spanish restaurant.
Food was interesting and well executed.
I love Coqueta! It has been one of my favorite restaurants for a few years. I recently came with a large group, 8 of us all together, and the staff was amazing. The rest of my group was nearly 40 minutes late (...I know) but the manager was unbelievably accommodating and was still able to get us in. It was pretty embarrassing being the only person in my group and explaining the situation but everyone was very gracious. The food was great, as always. We let our server choose our tapas and entrees for us, which was amazing! The charcuterie plate was stunning and the rib eye was next level. The food is always great, and I love the wine list.
Good food, nice ambiance!
I've been to Coqueta a few times and have had a wonderful experience. I too my out of town co-workers and the food was phenomenal. However, the service wasn't great. The bussers were actually a lot more polite and engaging that out actually server. I've worker in the service industry and was disappointed on the server's lack of suggestions for food, especially in perhaps upselling me on items that might be work trying, or answering clear questions on what might be good vegetarian options. Additionally, he seemed to take away our drinks and not ask for what refill we may want. It was a bit rude. Other than that, the experience was very good and I would come back, but hopefully not get the same server.
Truly amazing tapas! Plus the red sangria was the best I have tasted.
Lively atmosphere - great for getting together to share food and fun.
fantastic cocktails and made to order
Hostesses, a little quiet
Loved the waiters recs. Spot on.
Coqueta isn't inexpensive, but what you get for the money is great. This visit included the pisco sour cocktail, always delightful. Then grilled octopus, gambas, and the cochinillo (roast suckling pig). The wine pairing was a Ribera del Douero tempranillo, a delight!
Been here a dozen times, never tire of the chef's imagination and the kitchen's execution.
Our dinner was wonderful. Quite packed at 5:30 PM on a Sunday and quite full of fun and beautiful people. We had many options to select from as my friend is a veggie, and everyone was more delicious than the next. Love the way they served the wine and small liters and that the desserts could be ordered as bite-size
The ambiance is beautiful and the food ok, but the drink service was a disappointment. It would literally take 20 min to get a round of beverages and and we were just drinking wine. It was blamed on "peak" time. Definitely, need to get another set of bartenders. For the amount of money we spent there, everything should have ran smoothly.
Fun atmosphere. Great for people-watching. Attentive friendly service. Tapas fun to share. Especially liked the kale salad and shrimp heuvos. Yum
Food, ambiance and service were all top notch. Really enjoyable dining experience. Would definitely recommend.
Absolutely wonderful! The menu is intimidating for a non foodie but we sat at the bar and watched what was going out of the kitchen and were inspired. The paella is the best we have ever had (even after 2 trips to Spain) and worth the price. The gambas (more shrimp) are amazing. There was a luscious mushroom plate as well. We saw lots of orders for the smoked salmon open faced sandwiches which were the safe and recognizable menu bet but I highly recommend being adventurous here as it is all delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
There was a $25 corking fee to bring our bottle of wine from Napa. They serve wines from their own very small Chiarrello vineyard. We had found out about Coqueta at their tasting room in Yountville, Napa Valley. Their wines are delicious especially the very unique Chiaro Rose.
We had a very fun evening.
We had a wonderful time at Coqueta for my husband's birthday. 10/10 would highly recommend.
Food was great. We loved the gamba, croquettes and salmon ahumado. I didn't love the chili sauce on the octopus. Desserts were Ok. We had a sangria and lime monitor which were excellent. Overall a fun experience and I'll be back!
Wow.. sat at the "counter" and watched the performance of food being prepped. Our small plates were amazing, each of them. The drinks we had at the bar were delicious. Best experience maybe ever.
Very much enjoyed our dinner here. Started off with a number of small plates and the charcuterie cheese board - all amazing. Finished off by sharing the steak entree which was enough for all three of us. The wines from Spain were nice as were the cocktails. Would definitely revisit
grumpy waiter. Sub-par service at best., And $80+ steak for two was very fatty.... This place as seen it better days...
We sat at the Kitchen bar, and it was very exciting to watch the food coming out and the kitchen working at a frenzied pace. We had the Jamón Serrano, Manchego cheese, and the Paella. All were amazing. The service was great, with the kitchen giving us detailed information about each dish. Try the red sangria, it's fruity but not too sweet.
Very nice visit. And they are kids friendly which is quite NICE!
Food was excellent, as was the service, although the tables are so close together, I never really saw our server, as she was always behind me. Overall great experience as long as you do not mind being closer to the people at the tables next to you than the person you are with on the other side of the table.
My third or fourth visit to Coqueta. Consistently good service, tasty food and, of course, their signature G&T.
This is my second time here, and it was even more amazing this time. The cocktails are tasty, beautiful and so fresh. The margarita with salt air and the fresh gun and tonics are just a few examples. The food is delicious, presented beautifully and our visitors from out of town couldn't get over all the tasty dishes. The service and location are also incredible. Can't wait to go back!
Absolutely stunning restaurant.
Good service, excellent food and cozy ambient. the price is a bit on the high side but the food quality is well worth for money.
Their signature hot tapas "Bikini" and "Sunny Side-up" are the MUST try!
Wonderful gem of a restaurant. Great food with interesting, multi layered flavors. Great wine list and dessert to die for. Fabulous space, stunning location.
The service staff was excellent and matched the outstanding food.
Other than pushing paella, and constantly trying to turn the table we had reserved...my first experience at a Michael C. Restaurant was excellent.
Fun spot for tapas and incredible gin and tonics.
