Coqueta is a favorite of ours, but we selected it on this particular occasion because it was my birthday and they sent me a coupon for a free birthday dessert. We always share the tapas and order the same ones over and over again -- don't think we have ever even tried an actual entree because the tapas are so good. Their Patatas Bravas are the best we have ever had -- small and crispy, fabulous texture and flavor. The wait staff is both efficient and charming, and she actually brought us TWO free desserts, as a special treat. I highly recommend this place and go there often.

Great place to share food with dinner companions. The food was delicious and seasoned well. They seemed to portion the food based on our group size. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Only negative would be that there were only two bathrooms for the entire restaurant so there was a lineup every time one of us went to the bathroom. Unique approach to doggy bags in that they give you a baggage claim tag and you pick up your leftovers on your way out!

It was our first visit to this restaurant. Our waiter couldn't have been less enthusiastic as he seemed to treat us almost with disdain.
At 7:30 pm they were out of both kinds of sangria which is odd for a Spanish restaurant.
Food was interesting and well executed.

I love Coqueta! It has been one of my favorite restaurants for a few years. I recently came with a large group, 8 of us all together, and the staff was amazing. The rest of my group was nearly 40 minutes late (...I know) but the manager was unbelievably accommodating and was still able to get us in. It was pretty embarrassing being the only person in my group and explaining the situation but everyone was very gracious. The food was great, as always. We let our server choose our tapas and entrees for us, which was amazing! The charcuterie plate was stunning and the rib eye was next level. The food is always great, and I love the wine list.

I've been to Coqueta a few times and have had a wonderful experience. I too my out of town co-workers and the food was phenomenal. However, the service wasn't great. The bussers were actually a lot more polite and engaging that out actually server. I've worker in the service industry and was disappointed on the server's lack of suggestions for food, especially in perhaps upselling me on items that might be work trying, or answering clear questions on what might be good vegetarian options. Additionally, he seemed to take away our drinks and not ask for what refill we may want. It was a bit rude. Other than that, the experience was very good and I would come back, but hopefully not get the same server.

Coqueta isn't inexpensive, but what you get for the money is great. This visit included the pisco sour cocktail, always delightful. Then grilled octopus, gambas, and the cochinillo (roast suckling pig). The wine pairing was a Ribera del Douero tempranillo, a delight!

Been here a dozen times, never tire of the chef's imagination and the kitchen's execution.
