Erika was marvelous.
I went to Coppola's East for an early dinner, and had a wonderful experience. The dining room is absolutely beautiful. The homemade pasta with mixed seafood was simply outstanding. The side dishes and special dessert were also terrific. Reasonable prices and excellent service.
Literally feels like a California pizza kitchen
We enjoyed eating outside. Food was very good. Nice portions. Only negative was that we didn’t enjoy the half bottle of Pinot noir wine. Should have had the Chianti.
Really great food. Our waiter was OK. He forgot to bring us water, he forgot to bring us bread even after we asked for it, and then was just chilling with the bartender chatting when we really could’ve used some service. One of the other waitresses stepped in a little bit and she was helpful. Other than that though, it was great. Loved the table layout/booths because it lended itself well to be able to talk to your dining companions, and had lots of space. Overall definitely would come back.
Nice quiet spot on a Tuesday evening. Food and presentation was excellent. Service was also top notch. Prices are quite fair and a beautiful working bar. Wine prices and selection also very good
Great food and service. Wonderful music last night. Light jazz and Sinatra style. Perfect for this restaurant
Best Italian food in NYC! Nice seating inside or out.
First dining experience at Coppola’s East. Earlier dinner on a Sat night with family. Restaurant offers some outside seating and the inside had an abundance of seating options. We did note that there are many large round booths for bigger parties which is a good find. The bar area absorbs the front half of the resTaurant which quite a few options for wine.
We found a reasonable toscana that we like which added to the experience
Appetizers were great. Notable was the caprese salad for two that comes with a spring mix. We added aged balsamic to the plate and it was fabulous.
The bruschetta and home made crusty bread were both very good served with a little olive oil decanter.
Entrees: Pescatore was a wow! Fresh and a nice mix of fish. Penne aka vodka was a hit however I feel like it had more of an exotic Mac and cheese vibe than vodka sauce.
Veal Parm - I’ve had veal parm around the world and would put this right up there with exactly what you hope and expect. A very generous portion of a good quality veal cutlet served with melted mozzarella and the right amount of marinara under so you can swipe each cut. Served with a sharp knife — they know what they’re doing
On the side, opted for the penne with Bolognese — which was a solid compliment to the veal. Could finish it all so will be having a fab lunch
Eggplant parm entree appeared baked not fried which wasn’t as well received but voted “ok” but not a favorite.
Sort of missing a little crispy edge to texture and flavor.
Wrapped it up with some very hot and well brewed coffee. We laughed because you can’t pour from the creamer without spilling. Bad creamer design. Try it. Lol.
Service…. Attentive, helpful, experienced, thoughtful.
Overall on a scale of 1 to 10 we are going to go with a solid 8.2 for overall aesthetic, menu options, service, execution and pricing (very reasonable). Really a great option instead of choosing TikTok trendy restaurants.
Wonderful experience. Food was incredible. Quiet. You could enjoy the conversation. I highly recommend.
Great place overall. Doesn’t skip a beat in any area.
Great food and great Covid protection. So glad they are still open. My go to for great pasta.
Consistently wonderful food and fabulous service. Didn't feel rushed. Enjoyed every dish. Would eat there again and again.
One of the best restaurants that I have been to in years, I can’t wait to come back!
Food was good except for the fried calamari was not good would never order again
I go there often and nothing on the menu is less than great. The servers are personable and come to feel like friends.
Felt judged for being here, which was strange because we didn't even get drunk!
We were a bit disappointed with our entrees. Branzino was bland and dry and the eggplant was very mushy.
Always a delicious meal with great service !
Excellent experience from start to finish!! Exquisite food!! Was not prepared for the awesome goodness and size of the mama meatballs nor the additional crab on the homemade black linquini. And did i mention the outstanding bar service (read: the martinis were perfection). Attentive friendly staff was an added bonus. Will definitely be back soon!!!
We were seated promptly upon arrival and were fed large portions of delicious food. The service was friendly. Our group had the baked shrimp and clams, the Supreme Pizza, the squid ink pasta, and the salmon. For dessert it was apple pie and cheese cake. I highly recommend the restaurant.
The food and service were outstanding! Definitely coming back!
Very chill. No rushing. Sauce is very tasty.
Food and service are always great here. But we went on a Sunday and I ordered salmon. It was ok, but their salmon is normally tastier. But that’s on me because I usually never order fish on Sunday, cause most restaurants don’t get fresh fish on Saturday or Sunday. Favorites here are eggplant parmigian, lasagna (fabulous!), penne or fettuccine a la vodka, and garlic bread. Also love the free bruschetta they give at dinner.
Salmon is great on weekdays.
We had a fantastic experience; glad we chose Coppola’s for my birthday!
Had a great dinner sitting outside. Food and service were both great
It was great! Great food, great service !
It was nice to be back supporting another one of my neighborhood restaurants. The food and service were great.
Black Linguini and Espresso Martinis - Coppola’s is a must
A Great find !! Food and service were both very good
Enjoyed lunch with a friend at Coppola’s. Delicious eggplant parmigiana. The pistachio tartuffo was amazing. Service excellent.
The visit was pleasant and most of the food was good, except for a main course of salmon wrapped in prosciutto that was so dry that some sort of sauce was needed to moisten it.
Great portions and beyond delicious!
Very good. I loved the grilled octopus special. Private booths for a quiet and intimate experience. Fresh handmade pasta. Giant meatballs. Ceaser salad was fresh and crisp.
Outstanding service and they made me feel so special as I was celebrating an anniversary! Thank you Coppola for an awesome night!
Always a pleasant experience. The staff is attentive and the food is delicious.
In NYC for family event and could not wait to get back to our favorite Italian restaurant in town. Toughest choice is what to order as everything on the menu is first rate! Love this place!
Nice menu mixed with old school pasta with some nice twists Caesar salad was great, thin crust vodka pizza, eggplant, chick parm tasty. Service was on point. Healthy portions.
Will be back.
The food was fabulous and the service and staff were phenomenal! A must try!
