Delicious!! We will be back.
It is rare when I feel as compelled to 'gush' over a restaurant as I will for Coppola's East. Food was first rate. Growing up in a large Italian family on Long Island in the 60's (yeah, I'm old!) , we mostly ate meals like this at home on Sunday's in my grandmother's house.
My family and I had a nice selection of pasta (freshly made in house), veal and chicken dishes and an assortment of appetizers served with homemade breads. EVERYTHING was perfect!! The desserts were all on-point, especially the ricotta cheese cake. Since it was my birthday Sammy brought us a round of Limoncello which was also fantastic!
Katerina waited on us and was terrific. It felt as if she'd known us for years and was incredibly attentive. This is our new 'go to' place when we are back in NYC. I am already wishing I had the leftovers we sent home with my daughter in Brooklyn!
His place was perfect for getting together with a friend I hadn’t seen for awhile. We were able to talk without screaming to be heard. The cocktails were reasonably priced for Manhattan. We shared the fried zucchini sticks. The marinara sauce was very good to dip the sticks into. We also shared the seafood black linguine which is a favorites mine. The bread basket is very generous for dipping into the olive oil
Service was great and the food was awesome! Will definitely go back and recommend it to others!
Great restaurant came a second visit Erika is a superb waitress
We eat here often and always have a great experience.
Delicious food and terrific service!
Food here is always impeccable. The atmosphere is friendly. It’s has a true neighborhood vibe. The freshly baked bread and focaccia are delicious, and I’m especially fond of the hot red pepper infused olive oil for dipping. The regular menu and the daily specials are varied and unique, not what you would expect from a neighborhood haunt. I’ve been here several times, with different people, and all agree this place is a little slice of heaven. My filet of sole rollitini stuffed with crabmeat was delicious, as was the creme brûlée, my favorite dessert of all time. The wine list is generally moderately priced. The service is never rushed. One of my favorite restaurants in NYC.
Great restaurant, Erika is a superb waitress, great conversation going back again tomorrow
We had a wonderful time! Food was very good- not too greasy, not too saucy- which always angers me at Italian restaurants. Service was attentive. Will definitely return.
Great meal had Saturday night. The service was terrific and the food top notch. Can’t wait to go back.
Food was great, service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely go back.
Every dish we had was outstanding! Highly recommended!!
Hade a delightful evening with delicious food and fantastic service. Happily recommend to others.
Solid traditional Italian dishes
We went for lunch which had a price fixed menu. My eggplant parmigiani was delicious. Would recommend this restaurant.
U only get one shot at making a good first impression and Coppola's did so in GREAT fashion. From the greet to the farewell come in was A+
We will come back. GR8 experience.
Was looking for the best chicken parm in NYC for a reasonable price - overall absolutely amazing. Found this place on a blog and did not let me down. I have been to Italy and the bruschetta here blew Italy’s out of the water.
The food is excellent. The wine was very good. Service was friendly. They honored our reservations on time and gave us a great table.
This is my go to spot, I’m here at least once a week or ordering takeout from them. The food, service, and overall experience is amazing. I would highly recommend, and have, this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality Italian meal.
I haven't been here in awhile but it used to be one of my favorite Italian places. We really enjoyed the meal and the staff was fantastic. I will definitely be setting more meetings there.
Most definitely recommend this to a friend, and definitely coming back, the service, food and restaurant was spectacular...they don't rush you, which I love when I come to a restaurant....You get to enjoy the food....coming back!
Great time in a cozy and delightfully New York Italian restaurant.
Good place to eat friendly staff never felt rushed. Would definitely come again.
for the price could be better but portions are good size
I haven't eaten here in awhile. The prices are higher. The food is good , not brilliant. The service is excellent. Friendly staff.
Great small restaurant with full bar. Prices were reasonable with nice portion size.
Food, service, table all very good. Liked that there were specials although I ordered
from the everyday menu. Will visit this restaurant again.
The food we got was good but part of our order was incorrect. We were 'corrected' by the waiter who told us we were wrong and he delivered 'exactly' what we ordered. He was wrong but we ate the food anyway which was fine. We had a Travelzoo discount certificate which made the dinner a good value but the waiter was VERY pushy on getting his tip. I wouldn't eat here for full price because of this waiter and the food seems to be overpriced at full price..
Food was not good. Had to send back the mussels as they were bad. Meatballs were all bread. Had been here a number of times and it was never this bad.
Lovely place and great service. Enjoyed it thoroughly . A tad pricey but well worth the occasional treat!
Coppola's was everything you would want from a classic Italian restaurant. Delicious food with many options and great service. I will definitely be back.
Coppola's is a hidden gem in our neighborhood. The food is on par with top Italian restaurants in Manhattan and the subdued atmosphere makes the evening relaxing and intimate, whether entertaining guests or for family special occasions. I bring business associates and clients to Coppola's for a quiet lunch and dinners are always a celebration. Can't wait to go back again!
It was all booth seating, so that was comfortable, and the food was good. We arrived at 6 PM and they have a special until 630 which is an appetizer, main course, and glass of wine for $35 which we all thought it was a great deal. The desert was excellent ! Will definitely return.
Coppola’s East overall is terrific! The food quality is terrific and menu complete. This was my second visit in 1 year. The first time with a large party prior to attending the theatre. It was very good and the servers accommodated our rush. This time just 2 of us and we sat outside because of the nice weather. For service I almost gave 4 stars overall because of the initial impression when we arrived. The hostess was not at the front. When she returned she asked ‘how can i help you’ but not in a friendly or service way. I gave 5 stars for service because our waitress was wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating our wine orders and recommending wine too! She was very professional and sweet even though she told us it was her first day back from vacation. I kick myself for not remembering her name but she was young and I do remember she told us she was from Ukraine. Actually had us guess from where. I said eastern Europe my partner guessed Ukraine. So overall a great dining experience and always recommend Coppola’s East.
Very good service
We love this place. We like to have Erica as our waitress. She is always friendly and accommodating of our special food needs. She remembers us and it a pleasant time knowing our orders get taken care if right!
Great martinis. Great food especially the Black linguini dish!
Soooooo good!! The food. The ambience. The service. So fortunate to have this in the neighborhood. Love Coppola’s!!!
Have eaten here many times and usually take home 1/2 my pasta. I noticed prices have increased quite substantially and mentioned it to my friend as we looked at the menu. I ate less than 1/2 of my pasta dish, asked the waitress to wrap it up to take it home (who handed it over to a busboy I guess). I opened it up to have for lunch and NO pasta, only 3 slices of Bruschetta. The stupidity!
