Fantastic food, impeccable service, great value for money
Asked if they had any strawberries for our prosecco and waitress said yes and brought us straw’s!!!
Tables for two way to close to each other as felt we were having dinner with two other people as could hear there conversation clearly and them ours !! Not ideal
Food was fine although they brought starter at same time as main !!!
Not a succesfull night tbh
I had my first meal in Coppi on Saturday 18th May and thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had a very warm welcome on arrival and were shown immediately to our table despite arriving early.
Both our starters and mains were hot and delicious and the wine was amazing.
I would highly recommend Coppi to anyone.
Starters and main course were lovely. A sweet served in a large shot glass was not. Had a desert spoon fitted into the glass it could have been eaten with one spoonful
Great atmosphere from the moment we were met throughout our meal and paying the bill.
Wine was a little expensive but this is the only negative.
Food was excellent and service first class
One of our favourite places food and atmosphere always great
Great food staff and location.. Perfect, a must try.
Booked for dinner before going wine tasting and was very pleased with the presto menu. £18 a head for two delicious and filling courses.
Thanks and well done.
Great restaurant which offers something a little different! Recommend!
Disappointed to say the least. We've eaten there before (even celebrating a birthday with friends) and have good experiences. This last one was truly underwhelming. When you eat in a place like Coppi, you expect (and are paying for) a certain standard. We were greeted politely and given a choice of tables. Our server arrived shortly after, did not say hello, and dropped 2 menus on the table and left, without any mention of the evening's specials. We immediately noticed that instead of any sort of waitstaff uniform, he was instead in shorts and trainers, displaying a leg full of tattoos. While tattoos themselves are not an issue, this is not the image we would expect from an establishment like Coppi. When he returned, we were asked if we would like a drink. We ordered them, and then they arrived 20 minutes later. In between, we were asked if we were ready to order. We ordered some small appetizers to share, and medium rare steaks and chips with a side of broccoli and cauliflower. There was no thank you, no question about whether we'd like wine with dinner...in fact he could not have been more disinterested. Our appetizers arrived (pork sausages in tomato sauce, salami with feta and walnuts, and hummus), and we were just handed them and expected to find a place for them on the table. The sausages were dry and flavourless, the salami was very unimaginative, but thankfully the hummus was very nice. After 3 attempts to order a bottle of wine, we finally managed to get our server's attention. It was delivered by another member of staff, already opened, and literally plonked in the middle of the table with no offer for us to taste it. The steaks arrived next. One was cooked as we ordered it, the other was medium. The broccoli and cauliflower was grilled, which made it very dry and burnt tasting. At no point were we asked how the meal was, not that anyone really cared. We asked for the bill, and then waited 20 minutes to actually pay it, and not to our original server.
Coppi is Always reliable it's one of my favourite restaurants in Belfast full of atmosphere and the quality of the food is excellent. The service was brilliant we had great craic with our waiter and can't wait until the next visit.
Really nice food, selection and variety very good. The little plates were delicious. My only criticism was the centre strip of seating was in virtual darkness and diners were using mobile torches to read the menu! Otherwise it was really great
Great night out - lovely food, atmosphere and amazing service!
Excellent lunch, service a little slow but really busy so not surprised.
Visited on a Friday night and it was very busy as to be expected. Service was excellent, food was delicious we will return when it is less busy but that is a reflection on me rather than the restaurant.
Great food, lots of options for veg and meat eaters
Coppi is a fabulous restaurant for either a special night out or just a weeknight dinner. The pasta is always delicious and my main course at this visit (the lamb) was perfect. I would highly recommend Coppi.
Food was average and so was service. It was ok overall but I wouldn’t rave about it.
Great food, decent wine list and very friendly service, the antipasto sharing board was delicious and the afogato with the pedro ximenez sherry soaked sultanas is not to be missed!
Delicious food & excellent service. Portion size of desserts quite small though
Absolutely delicious food. Amazing service. Restaurant quite loud but good atmosphere.
We had a great evening! The server was very helpful when asked about the menu choices, so much so that she was able to customise a dish to suit our requirements :)
The waiter gave us our bill at 6.50 and told us we had leave before 7.30.
Best food in Belfast and beautiful cocktails. Courses were served promptly, but exceptionally slow drinks service unfortunately.
I feel there should have been an additional fish dish such as sea bass, hake, salmon
I love love love every time I visit. I get so excited about the food - yummy!!
Ww’ve been regular visitors to Coppi since it opened in 2012, never disappoints. Great food, full of flavour, lovely staff and cocktails are great too. Definitely worth a visit
Food was fabulous! Service was excellent! Wine choice was not so good!! Noise was excessive! Overall, we enjoyed our meal, however, the noise was so bad that we couldn’t share a conversation at our table!
Great evening. Will be back
The food was amazing as it is every time we dine. Thank you to the staff for first class service and ordering our taxi. Can wait to visit again
Food is always fabulous.. staff extremely friendly and helpful .. one of my favourite restaurants to visit.
New menu since our last visit & unfortunately we much preferred the original one.
Was always out go to restaurant but now I would not be in a rush back, which is really dissapointing.
Lovely vibrant restaurant with a lovely unusual menu that did not disappoint !
This was my second visit to Coppi in a week or so, both times the food was good, price and service were OK and the atmosphere is lively and energetic. The choice on the menu was excellent and I will be back. Very good spot indeed.
Amazing authentic Italian food. Staff are fantastic, polite and very helpful. Value for money is great here. Really recommend this place.
We went on Easter Sunday with the family and it was one of those occasions where everyone was happy. My 16 year old son is coeliac and the staff whilst not having a glutenfree menu were able to show a relatively good selection of meals he could have.Overall a good experience
100% recommend. Great food great service. Family friendly
Always delicious and the staff are really attentive
Coppi is my favourite restaurant in Belfast. The service the last time we were here wasn't amazing, but this time they made up for it! Our table was delayed by 15 minutes, but we were given some free chicetti to apologise. The duck ragu was as delicious as ever, and my friend was raving about the chorizo risotto. The new chicetti dolce were also delicious!
The reason Im giving a bad review is because of the poor quality of the food, I order duck for starter and was expecting a nice piece of shredded duck, instead I got a leg with very little meat on it, for main course I ordered chicken, but this was burnt on the bottom, my sister ordered steak well done but she couldnt eat it because it was pink in the middle, she made a complaint and in your favour she was not charged for her meal- very disappointing all round.
