Our menu offers an array of scratch-made dishes and seasonal flavors along with a selection of handcrafted cocktails, 20 Virginia craft beers on tap, and an extensive selection of bourbons and Virginia wines. Copperwood exudes a cozy cabin-style vibe; great for a date night, business lunch, or weekend brunch with the family.
Join us weekdays for lunch, happy hour $2 oysters from 3-6, or dinner!
On weekends we offer brunch from 9am-4pm featuring classics such as chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and bananas foster French toast along with a selection of brunch libations.

As a vegetarian- the veggie burger was made in store, and very good! Friends had the rib eye sandwich, which is huge and they really enjoyed it. The prices are high, but that’s true everywhere. I think the place needs a little TLC to refresh’s it, but overall very nice evening.

I was really disappointed with the service and quality of food on Mother’s Day. I had chicken and waffles. The edges (thinner portions) of the chicken was good, but the middle needed to be tenderized. I know you guys are better than that, as my previous visit was a great experience. I will give the restaurant another shot, because we all have bad days. We all deserve a second chance.

The Tavern Burger, French Onion Soup, Goat Cheese and Venison Chili were outstanding! (The cheese could have been warmer.)

My husband and I had a brunch date here and it was lovely. Our server was very attentive, and the menu had a lot of great options. He got the steak and eggs. Both came prepared as requested. I had the steak and brussel salad, with my steak also prepared as requested. Will be back.

We have been coming to Copperwood for many years and always enjoyed it. The vibe has changed though. The 1980s hair band metal music ruined the atmosphere. It feels now like a restaurant that’s lost its way.
