The food and drinks were very good. I was just very disappointed that there was a worm on one of the oysters.. Otherwise, I would have given it a 5.

We came during happy hour and sat outside and it was lovely. We ordered 12 grilled oysters, lobster mac, steak tartare, salmon salad, and steak salad, and all of them were great. I had two commonwealth mules to drink, and they were also wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Sat outside for brunch on Easter Sunday, which was glorious. We started with the fried green tomatoes. I'd recommend taking these off the menu -- they were bland and tasteless; even the pimento cheese had only a very mild flavor.
In general, the starter menu needs a make-over -- there is just nothing exciting on it.
The short rib benedict was delicious and came with a generous and perfectly dressed side salad. My companion had the burger, which she said was delicious; although the fries were a bit limp.
We go to Copperwood often; LOVE the oysters and several other items on the menu; but the menu could use a little jazzing up.

Service is always excellent as is the food. Loved sitting outside, but inside is nice as well given the big windows.

The wait staff were phenomenal, rotating between themselves to ensure coverage. That plus the great food and well made cocktails made for an outstanding dinning experience. Highly recommend.

We ordered the Tomahawk Ribeye (for the second to time) because it was a birthday dinner.

I’ve always loved Copperwood and their amazing menu. I appreciate how items change with the seasons and how they utilize local food and beverage products. During this visit we were seated on their outdoor patio as we had two small dogs with us. It was a great vibe all around and we look forward to coming back again very soon.

After waiting 10 minutes without staff greeting us we had to ask for our waiter/waitress. Then for our meal they forgot to put in one of our orders and when they hurriedly made it the steak that was supposed to be medium was rare. By time they made another the rest of us had finished eating our whole meal and just had to box the item. Very displeased.

Staff seemed rushed and out of sorts. Food was good but nothing special.

The quality of food has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY since you first opened. Our fried green tomatoes were rock hard and the fried goat cheese was cold inside. These looked like pre-made from frozen apps. Our salmon salads were all spinach - no arugula as the menu states. The food was average - not special. I felt like I was at a mediocre chain restaurant. And we specifically selected copper wood over other places and came all the way from Leesburg to meet friends. This was my second sub-par experience at Copperwood in the last six months. I let the first one pass, but it clearly is the new normal. So sad.

Everything was absolutely outstanding - the food, the service, the cocktails (AMAZING), the ambiance, etc. We will 1000% be back.

We ordered the Venison and Ribeye, both prepared medium rare. Both cuts of meat were very chewy. I couldn't even digest the Venison. I chewed the Venison so much I had to take it out my mouth. My friend steak although looked perfect in appearance (medium rare), the steak was very tough and chewy. The restaurant Manager did replace our meals. So that was nice. The baked Brie was amazingly delish!

Copperwood is very good if you like taverns. Varied menu and the food is always good. Staff is also very good.

Saturday Brunch. I must recommend the Pear Mimosa. I had at least 2. The Orange sherbet was amazing too! I also recommend the shrimp and grits. The fried green tomatoes are great (I don’t like pimento cheese so I asked them to leave it off.) The steak and the chicken were a bit dry. 😳 Service was good. The ambiance was great. We will return.

The food was not served hot enough, it was lukewarm temperature.

Overall great brunch spot! Our server was incredibly nice and appropriately attentive. You gotta try their beef jerky Bloody Mary!
