Absolutely fantastic as usual, decor, staff, atmosphere and most importantly the food is truly wonderful. Eat in or takeaway the food is always top notch.

Nice staff and delicious, interesting food. Granddaughter struggled with some of the spicier dishes but the staff kindly gave her honey yogurt and then ice cream.

First meal out after lock-down. It felt so safe and plenty of room between tables, with wonderful service and excellent food, all for a very reasonable cost.
The staff went out of their way to be helpful and informative.

It's a pity that it was so quiet, however the music being played - soft blues and jazz was excellent.

Lovely big roomy restaurant on the first floor. Varied unusual menu. Staff very good and friendly. Loved the goat curry and the chilli garlic nan bread. Shame they haven't got a small drinking area for pre meal drinks. Food was excellent

This was my friend and my first visit to Coppers after several very high recommendations from friends. They did not disappoint. The staff were welcoming and attentive, friendly and helpful. My friend has gluten free dietry requirements and had emailed ahead. They were exceptionally helpful and talked her through the menu, which already had much of the info that she needed on it. They really did ensure she had everything she needed and even had gluten free beer! A really lovely experience and the food was fabulous. We loved the little mint chocolate leaves and the little dumplings which were brought out.

Super friendly service. Lovely food - the best Indian Restuarant in Hythe (IMO) . Our second visit, both have been excellent - Saturday Nights have a better ambiance with Live Music

What a fantastic restaurant this is, newly refurbished and fantastic staff. The food was absolutely wonderful, really refreshing to have authentic cooked dishes as opposed to dishes prepared for the British taste buds. All the produce was from local Kent suppliers and fresh/tasty......worth paying a little more for quality I say.

There was a great choice of beers and the blues music playing in the background bought a great twist to the venue. I know people tend to go to The Hythe Imperial (same owners) but if that’s full or you’re simply from Hythe/Sandgate or Folkestone and want Indian dishes beyond the norm then Coppers is the place.

If you love Bubba Gee on the Harbour Arm, then Coppers is from the same stable ........lovely

Delicious and authentic Indian food - walk past the ‘indian’ restaurants servong tikka masala and try Coppers. It’s a treat for your tastebuds and has class!

We had a family meal at Coppers with adults and children present. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very attentive to our needs. They explained about various flavours when we asked for advice for the children's meals. The food was amazing, the best Indian we have had and I would definitely recommend them.

We had another excellent meal. They were experiencing some problems in the kitchen due to a problem with one of the chefs. Their attention to our needs and attitude more than compensated for any delay with the meal caused.

Delicious food, it is obvious the chef is proud of his creations, you are presented with extra little tasters between courses. The service is just the right mix of giving you enough attention without standing over your shoulders waiting.
It's the gem of eateries in Hythe..or even Kent!

Having dined at Coppers before and thoroughly enjoyed it, I organised an evening out to celebrate a birthday based on that experience. This time the restaurant was chilly and the food was rather poor. The dominant ingredient in our vegan starter menu seemed to be chickpea flour, which got rather boring. The waiting in between courses was too long. The meat eaters amongst us were disappointed too for various reasons. We found the owner of the restaurant very polite but the overall service was not good; on several occasions we had to ask for cutlery and plates. It was hard to hear ourselves speak over the too many, in my opinion, dreary blues tunes played by the piano player. Authentic Indian music played at a good level would’ve been more in keeping with the style of the restaurant. We were disappointed, to say the least and it was not cheap either.

We went in fri and was empty as they have two big tables cancel. They could quite easily called us to cancel as would not of been worth opening for 4 people, but they didn’t they accommodated for us and nothing was skimpy on, lovely food and even got to try testers. Look forward to booking this amazing restaurant again👍

Unlike most Bangladesh and Indian restaurants where it doesnt matter what you order it inevitably tastes the same/similar, this is properly authentic Indian - yummily interesting, individual flavours, fresh and bright and obviously freshly prepared. Go off piste from your usual choices and you really really wont be disappointed. Separate vegan menu a complete treat for my very impressed daughter! Many thanks, looking forward to next time.

We had wonderful food and great service. This is the best curry I have had outside of India so will certainly return. Very much looking forward to their music evenings.

Superb inventive Indian food, our starter was popadoms with homemade relishes, and then we had the MughliKadhaiGosht and Moilee Monk - both were fantastic, and worked well with the South African pinotage recommended by our host.

We had a lovely meal here - and even though we were a party of 10 they kindly changed our booking to accomodate a change in plans

We went for New Years Eve. First visit. Chose restaurant on basis of on-line reviews as we are not local. We had a great evening. The restaurant was busy but lots of space between tables and a good mix of 'party-goers' and not (like us), created a great atmosphere. There was a set menu for the evening with a good choice on it and all very well balanced. The service was great and the food was FABULOUS! As advertised, it was very authentic Indian cuisine with very clever/complex spicing such as we have never had outside of India. Also great value for money with a simple but decently priced wine list. So hats off to Coopers for a great evening and one we have already talked about repeating later this year.

Delicious Indian food and not the usual stuff. Very different but very tasty food. The service is superb and the pianist super.

We had a good evening celebrating my wife's birthday. The food was great Chef prepared dips were so tasty. The service was exceptional. I will be going again.
Don't be put off by the outside of the building. When you enter and climb the grand staircase it opens out into a stylish restaurant space. It was warm and welcoming.

Very poor service with average at best food. Very salty starters and main was quiet sweet and the level of ‘spice’ could not be altered.
Menu at the restaurant was completely different to what they advertised in their website - 2 pages of starters but only one page of limited main courses.
Nothing to make you want to return for a second visit!

This restaurant was amazing the food was so lovely and not like any other Indians we have been to the food was so different than the normal Indians the dishes my wife and I had was full of flavour and not oily which some Indians can be the bread was amazing my wife and I really enjoyed the evening the staff was really good and you never waited long for food or drinks we would like to say thank you for the little dumpling thing we tried we will definitely be recommending this restaurant and we will be going back
