We had a lovely late Valentine’s Day
dinner. The chef tasting menu was unique and delicious. Our only complaint is that we wished the proportions were a bit larger because it tasted so good.
We were seated at a small white table by the window. Not as comfortable as the regular tables and a bit chilly. We had requested Pipers section but did not get it.
The food and service were spectacular. It was definitely a lot more than we typically spend for a night out, but the quality was phenomenal and our waitress, Piper, provided excellent service. We will be back for sure!
The evening began by being seated on arrival, even though we were a bit early. Each course was explained both for the ingredients and the wine being served. The parings were perfect. It is difficult to say which course stood out, because all had their best qualities. I had the scallops which I thoroughly enjoyed. They were perfectly cooked. My wife had the steak, which was tasty and tender.
We will definitely put Cedarbrook on our agenda for another special occasion.
We had a very special meal, celebrating Valentine's Day a few days early. The food is organic and much sourced locally. The presentation was very appealing. The chef knows how to combine flavors and ingredients to make a wonderful meal. The staff are attentive but not hovering. The ambiance of quiet and cozy added to a very special evening.
Note that the small plates are very small. Good food but I left hungry.

I have been to Copperleaf several times. The dining area is beautiful and the service is always top notch. The menu is fun and the wine list well curated. Don't miss dining here!
Dining area is small and cozy with a fireplace and windows. The food is excellent and not exorbitantly expensive as in most comparable restaurants. They even add free amuse bouche and dessert bites. Excellent wines, even offered by the glass. Waiters are very competent and respectful. Worth the drive from Seattle.

This is such an oasis of great food and ambiance that you can scarcely believe you are in Sea-Tac. The food presentation, Glassy Babies on the tables, live jazz, and salt scrub in the restrooms are just a few of the details that add to the experience. A gem in the southend!
New Years Eve special dining - I was underwhelmed with the choices the chef made throughout the multi-course meal. Fois Gras (sp?) outstanding, cheesecake too heavy to follow its rich predecessors. Tables too close together, no privacy. BUT, will definitely go again, as this is a very special place.
I enjoyed Copperleaf's special menu for New Year's Eve. It was my first time designing at Copperleaf and my only regret is that I hadn't tried them sooner considering how close they are to where I live. My server Piper was wonderful and she was able to collaborate with the kitchen to accommodate my dietary restriction and still enjoy most of the set menu. The substitutions were well chosen.
I should also note that the couple dinning at the table next to me loves the food Copperleaf so much that they came in from out of state just for the event menu.
Quality, local ingredients. Incredible taste, even on the most basic salad. Wait staff not as knowledgeable about dietary restrictions as they could have been.
