Great food and service.
Have only been to the Copperhouse Tavern for lunch or after work for drinks and apps. 6 of us went for an early dinner Saturday night and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was hot and delicious, all were delivered without an issue and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
We'll be back again and have added it to our list!!
I would not recommend this for business meetings because it was quite loud.
I think the drink special I had raspberry lemon perseco was a little over priced ..$10 for about an ounce of liquid in the glass..I understand that alcohol is high but the that was ridiculous...1 sip and it was gone.
This was my second visit to the restaurant. I would say this time was a bit disappointing.
My first visit was with a larger group and I recall it was very good.
I ordered a soup and entrée and before I was half way through my soup my entrée was served. I was a bit confused as the restaurant was not busy. I ordered the Steak tip and Guinness pie. The presentation was very nice with a very good portion, but the meat was very chewy. It was difficult to eat . My wife and son had no issues with their meal.
Unfortunately my meal did not meet expectations.
Copperhead Tavern performed as expected, offering an "upgraded" bar menu. The food was acceptable. I had shrimp tacos and though I seriously had no impression of actually eating shrimp (I saw them though!), the vegetables and sides were fresh and flavorful. We knew in advance that the noise volume and overstimulation would be high, so I can't really "fault" though. We chose this for the ideal meeting location for a group of friends. The restaurant, to their credit, did try to accommodate my request for a quiet table and had us seated in a less chaotic area of the restaurant space.
Had a great time! The food was fantastic, and the menu had a lot of options. There is something for everyone. Great bar scene, lively atmosphere, but also comfy. Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend going.
Food was good and the timing of the kitchen was perfect. Jen was our server and was outstanding!!!
Nice spot near hotels, great variety of beers, burgers were nice but not outstanding
Good food that comes out quickly. Reasonably priced. Servers can be a little busy and spread out.
Great meeting place for our night at Bentley Arena. Overall opinion we will return
Whole family enjoyed their meals. Service was terrific and menu choices were delicious.
The kitchen was closing at 10:00 & due to snow we were 15 minutes late for our reservation so the host said he would send someone right over so that hopefully we could be served. The waiter came over quickly to take our order but after he served the food he never came back to check on us or see if we needed anything else & then he finally came back & cleared our plates away but didn't come back with our check for a very long time. The food was not great either.
Very good food at a good price. Have been multiple times and have yet to be disappointed.
First time customer, but not last time. Quiet enough to have a conversation. Food was great. Best hamburg in a while. Definitely comfort food and I loved it.
Great cocktail, beer and cider selection! Good menu options. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Two thumbs up!
Service rating would have been a 5 except for the fact that the hostess and waitress argued in front of us over the waitress not wanting any more people in her section. The hostess refused to listen and they did not come to closure after an angry arguemenr so we were then ignored by both sides for the first 15 minutes of sitting at the table. We finally asked to move to a different section where we might get service but then the waitress apologized and was very gracious with great service once the drama was over. A little too much drama for what I hoped would be a romantic Valentine's dinner...
Absolutely loved Copperhouse Tavern! We went for Valentine's day and were seated almost instantly. We got nachos and steak dinners and everything was absolutely delicious. Quick service and great food, will definitely be back again!
Server was fabulous!! Don’t recall his name but he was from Italy and worked the tables on the bar side.
The food was wonderful and our server was fantastic
After 20 minutes and asking for service twice, we left. Asked them to cancel the reservation so we could make one elsewhere, but they even failed to do that.
Didn’t realize this was at a crappy hotel. Likely never would’ve made a reservation here in the first place, but the basic customer service was about as bad as I’ve seen.
Food was mediocre. I asked for a medium rare burger with no onions and got a well done burger with onions.
Service overall was good but it was a disappointing experience.
Went for brunch. The bloody mary was really good. The food was okay. The service was really bad. We were seated, they brought water and coffee, but then never came back to refill it. When I asked for the coffee to be refilled they brought over one new cup of coffee, none for my dining companions. One friend was lactose intolerant-- they had no almond, soy or non-dairy creamer options at all. Two friends ordered eggs and steak tips cooked medium. They came out raw on the inside. Nobody came by to see if everything was okay. Finally a bus boy came by and we asked him to take the steaks back to cook longer. He did, but then it took forever to get them back. Then our waiter had no idea that we had sent anything back. They finally did bring back the steak and eggs. Which were done properly the second time. Then, some of us asked for fruit and they seemed to have to go looking for fruit to put in it (It was delicious though). The waiter told us the manager was offering us free dessert but we didn't want dessert, so instead they didn't charge us for coffee. This is one of my biggest aggravations with eating out. Please just get the food cooked properly and get it on the table timely. Offering free coffee or free desserts does not make up for the food being poorly prepared and poorly served.
The chef did a great job with the food.
Unfortunately the service was poor but the meal was delicious. This is 2nd time had this waiter and was very inattentive, glasses were empty for at least 10 minutes and waiter visited the table next to us at least three times and never checked on whether we needed anything. Same experience we had with this waiter previously. It's a great local place but the inattentiveness of this waiter makes it less desirable
Pleasantly surprised that such a good restaurant was part of a chain hotel (Best Western). Excellent variety and selections, and outstanding service. Seated upon arrival (with reservations) and service was immediate and not overbearing. Four of us in the party were quite happy with their meals. Only downside was the clam chowder could have been a little hotter and one piece of chicken looked like it maybe was a little pink on the inside but it didn't affect the flavor and we didn't ask for a redo. Bottom line: we'll definitely go back.
We've made multiple trips here for brunch and were shocked by how much the quality of the food has declined. Toast arrived, except it was just regular bread, not toasted; the brisket hash was strips of rubbery meat thrown over some oily potatoes and peppers - adding jalapenos to the dish did not improve the texture or the quality of the oily concoction below; the omelettes that were ordered came out runny and the ingredients were barely included. It was very shocking how bad the food was. We will not return.
Did not intend to book dinner at a hotel, but pleasantly surprised. Nice selection of dinner items. Cost modest. Food very good. Not at all crowded. Will add to our family dinner out rotation.
Food was good, service was better! Overall a good time for girls night out. Drinks was strong and very good.
The food was Excellent! I literally cleaned my plate. Drinks were a solid A+ and service was Fast and friendly.
We chose the restaurant because it was near our friends' hotel, despite the poor reviews, because we had been there before for lunch and thought it would be a decent if not great meal. We were seated at a high top by the bar. Lots of tiny bugs were flying around our table the entire meal. Our waiter never came by to check on us. We had to ask the busboy to get our waiter when we needed him. Two of us ordered the same dessert, the chocolate peanut butter cake. One came out, then about five minutes later the other one came out. When it arrived, it was about half the size of the first one. We got a manager and asked about the difference. He said it was just the way it was cut, and that the smaller piece "must have been an end or something. " He rushed off and said he would take care of it, and it was removed from our bill, but the person who got the smaller piece was still disappointed. While we were sitting after dessert, the manager came over and asked us to leave because a group had booked the whole area of the restaurant we were sitting in. We were appalled at how rude that was. I would never go back.
Was a little concerned at first when we realized the tavern was part of the Best Western in Waltham, however the food proved to be pretty good, service was great, and we didn't even realize we were in a hotel restaurant. About 30ish beers on tap and traditional american food, very close to the highway, made for a good meeting spot.
Comfort food, pricing a little high, $14 for a burger? Large beer selection, decent sandwich selection. VERY busy afterwork, not the cleanest place if that is an issue.
Great food and great beer selection. A convenient meeting spot right off the highway for meeting friends from various parts of MA. We will be back!
The kitchen always does a great job with the salmon.
Meditteranean wrap was best I've ever had. Turkey in Turkey Rachel sandwich was hand carved. Fries were not as well done as I like, but fine. Portions were ample. Service was faultless and noise didn't interfere with conversation. Highly recommend for lunch.
Traveling with my daughter and saw good reviews on line. Food was good and quick, ambiance dark and a bit stuffy. Really noisy with TVs on blaring. Bar wasn't even full but noise level, with raucus middle aged adults having a few too many at the bar.
Maybe better for singles and drinks than family dining
Varied menu with lots of options for entire family. Food came out quick and everything was tasty. Service was pretty poor though. Restaurant was fairly empty but our server disappeared after our food came out and my husband had to walk around the place to find our server so we could pay our check and leave.
Your typical sports bar with lots of beer on tap and in bottles. Nice patio seating. Extensive menu for the fussiest eater - all pretty good. The servers are a bit rough, if you can get through that you’ll have a good time.
We sat on the Patio is was very nice. the food was tasty and the beer was cold.
