great!! we enjoyed a bday dinner with friends and family!
Food wasn’t great. Service was good. Music was super loud. Wouldn’t return. Couldn’t even eat my ribs, I had to tear the meat off the bones. Also the steak was half fat. Had high hopes but wouldn’t recommend.
Food was meh, was a busy Friday night menu seems to be geared for the college crowd. Onion soup Appetizer was lackluster and bland, main dishes served with warm sides.
Preparation and plating was poor. Overall great place to have a whiskey may get some pub grub at best
Phenomenal food, service, wine selection. The four of us started in the bar for a cocktail then headed to dining area, which was a bit quieter. Staff was super sweet.
Great experience and great find. Professional note - Wednesday night is Burger and beer night. You get the Copper Canyon Burger and a pint tap for $13. That's a deal. Food was great service was fast, highly recommend!
Food, service, and ambiance was all great. Price was appropriate as well. Highly recommend.
Absolutely marvelous dinner, burgers & appetizers were great
It was a great place!
Great cocktails, good food, outstanding service.
Copper used to be one of go to spots. About a year ago, my wife and I had a very poor meal. We decided to give Copper another try this week and had the worst meal yet. Two people ordered the brisket tacos. The tacos were full of chunks of fat and one of them even found a piece of bone. I had the burnt ends and found the same thing. I had more solid chunks of fat than meat. The whole meal was a turnoff. There are much better places to eat in Bozeman.
I had a great beer from Katabatic brewery. I had roast chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. There was about 5 beans. The chicken and mashed potatoes was good but not outstanding. For the price, I would recommend this restaurant.
My daughter and I had reservations, we showed up 30 minutes early and were immediately seated. The meal was delicious and the service was great
They were out of everything we tried ordering besides the wings
Wonderful, definitely coming back. We were worried because wine people they wouldn't have a wine list. They did and it was good choices can't go wrong with anything Kermit Lynch imports.
Originally were going to have an entree but after seeing other tables full of burgers we changed our minds. We started with fried pickles. Great mixture two spares and some yummy sweeter dill chips. We wish we wouldn't have ordered because made it hard to eat all the food we got. We hand the handmade Copper Burger, everything you could want in a burger. My new favorite in Bozeman. Also had pulled pork, it was perfectly smokey. Next time will order extra slaw. Fries were great too. The only downfall for me was I think they butter outside of bun. I'll ask them not to next time.
We were ignored for our 430pm reservations until a bartender sat us at a table with chairs. We asked the waitress if we could have one of the open booths...she huffed and said fine.
We didn't get waited on for a long time. The salad never came...until the meal arrived at 530pm!
Sad...it was supposed to be a nice night out.
Service was horrible. The food was pretty good but I made a reservation before hand & didn’t get sat until 8:50, finally got to order about 45 minutes later, food took forever. Saw the waitress standing around chatting several different times.
Always reliable. Great food and experience.
This was not our first visit to Copper; we go there on special occasions (like birthdays). The entire staff was efficient and polite. The food was, as usual, excellent. If I have a complaint, it would be this: There are no choices if one wants a salad entree (Cobb salad, Chef Salad, etc.) Actually that's more of a suggestion rather than a complaint. Great place to eat!
Always eat here when I am in Bozeman. Consistently good.
Great atmosphere, bar menu is extensive, apps and entrees menu offers diverse options. Staff was friendly and service was great. They have a team approach that kept our glasses full.
Great food and environment, we went early and my kids liked there food a lot.
This was our first time visiting Bozeman, and several people recommended this place. The atmosphere was very nice, and the food was very flavorful. It was a very nice dining experience. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
Fantastic cocktails, pretty good food, great for casual dining
Enjoyed a lovely birthday dinner for my husband!
Nice ambiance. Service was slow but it was a busy Saturday night. Lighting was poor over table but they indicated it was being updated soon. Stroganoff was okay, lacked creaminess and robustness.
Great burgers and be sure to try the pretzel bites!
Food was delicious, all staff were efficient and friendly. Quick seating with our reservation, not sure how it would be without one. Fantastic experience!
The salmon my wife had was excellent. Perfectly cooked. She would have preferred to have risotto instead of plain white rice. I had steak frites which were tasty but slightly chewey.
Service was excellent and friendly. There was a variety of age groups represented with an active bar scene.
We would definitely go back.
This was our first time dining at Copper Whiskey Bar and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Great food, atmosphere and service. We will definitely go back and will highly recommend it to others.
Very disappointing night that we so looked forward to! Service was not good and the noise level was almost intolerable! I won't return!
The charcuterie board was AMAZING!
Everything we had to eat and drink was absolutely delicious!
The steaks were fantastic, service was great. The prices are what you would expect at a nice restaurant. Highly recommended!
Love Copper! The food is fantastic, service is great and ambiance is relaxing. This is one of my favorite places in Bozeman!
The grill was broken and we wanted steaks. But everything else was amazing! We will be back!
Did not have the steak and had to settle for the tenderloin which was bland.
Superb ambiance, great drinks , good food friendly service and pretty waitresses
It was ok. We didn’t even hear about the specials until we overheard another waiter tell them to a different table but we had already ordered. My kids (6 and 8) ordered their own burgers from the kids menus but when they came out they were from the regular menu and therefore had to pay double for their mistake. Burgers and sandwiches ended up being sloppy and making the buns soggy. I would recommend for drinks but not food
Copper is my favorite restaurant in town and I love bringing my out of town guests when I can so they can enjoy it as well. I had the salmon on this last visit and it was fabulous. I also am a big fan of the siracha margarita. An unusual twist to an old favorite and it never disappoints!!
Had the burnt ends with fries and a beet salad. All very tasty. Also enjoyed a couple of the local craft beers. Service was excellent. Cozy & friendly environment. Definitely would come again when back in Bozeman.
