Great! Don't miss the veggie meatballs!
Food was flavorful! Waiter was personable, friendly and attentive. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
One of our new favorite local spots! We just discovered this gem and have been there twice in the past 3 weeks. Great comfort food at a reasonable price. Wonderful staff and solid decor. We highly recommend Copper Kettle Kitchen!
Enjoyable experience at the Copper Kettle. Apps and entrees were high quality. Brownie dessert sucked. Things are slow. If you order the super tasty chicken under a brick it will take some time to roast!
Food excellent but ran out of Pinot Grigio and Albariño. Time to prepare food order was excessive.
Friendly waiter and bartender. Neat neighborhood place
This local place has a hipster feel and tries to be innovative but some of the food falls short. Prices seem reasonable until dishes appear that are quite small....such as the chicken pot pie and pastas, some of which resemble appetizer portions. Wine prices are higher than average for a local eatery.
Have eaten here several times and we are quite pleased with the Copper Kettle Kitchen. Has a casual ambiance, and a menu which strives to be inventive, a trait missing in the vast majority of upper east side restaurants. The portions are smallish but that is a benefit in that you get to graze and try a variety of delicious dishes. Counter to what some reviewers said about the prices I thought they were fair given the portion sizes. As an example the striped bass entree was $23 , not bad given that it was wonderfully prepared , and while smallish this dish in a full entree size is at least $10 more in most decent places. Try the wild mushroom pappardelle while you are there. Will def be back!
The food was fresh and excellent. I nice addition to the UES.
Once seated it took about 20 minutes for our order to be taken. We had to go to the bar to ask for water. After an hour we still never received any of our food. At that point we left and got pizza!
Service was poor. Food came out incorrectly and T wrong times Kitchen seemed overwhelmed. Potions were small would pass this one by
Was there for brunch - everything was delicious! We were able to order off the regular menu too which was nice for the 'not a fan of breakfast' crew :) I've eaten dinner there as well - everything fresh & tasty!
Great service and talented bartenders
Portions are very small but food is outstanding. Order a few things for the table. Desserts are small and you may not want to share.
The place was empty.
Food and service were both very good. Octopus was nicely charred and tender. Cauliflower dip was very creative.
Awesome tasting menu and amazing staff! Get there early and have a reservation because it gets pretty crowded !
CKK was on my list of places to visit. So glad we came. It was terrific. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional.
We'll be back!
We went for our anniversary and we had a amazing time. The staff was great and the food was even better. We had the 5 course chefs table and it was out of this world. We will be back very soon.
Did have the right silverware at the table and service was not busy but also not atentive
I came here for my husbands' birthday party with about 10 people on Saturday. To preface this, I've never written a bad review on this site.
Service: The set up process went very smoothly, but once we actually arrived at the dinner it was like pulling teeth. I had to ask the manager or our waiter to come around every time to place orders for drinks, appetizers and entree after we waited a ridiculously long time. All in all we were there for over three hours.
Food/drinks: Cocktails and flatbreads were very good. If I ever go back it'll be for drinks and appetizers. The braised short rib that I ordered was kind of grey and tasteless and a small portion.
In summary: I went to the manager and asked him to do something to make up for the experience. Shortly thereafter the waiter offered free dessert for the birthday boy but I asked for a free round of drinks instead, which was refused. Come here for drinks when you don't have a tight schedule.
Good food, nice atmosphere
So thrilled this cozy place opened up in our neighborhood, where we are desperate for good food. The short ribs are my favorite and everything on the menu is fresh and delicious.
Our waitress was good although a little too fast with serving in between courses. But aside from that we highly recommend this place!!
One-note, nothing special
Copper kettle was amazing for Sunday brunch food was fantastic perfect portions .👍👍👍👍👍
Copper Kettle Kitchen is a nice addition to the upper east side neighborhood. It has a farm to table menu and inventive drinks based on small batch booze, fresh fruit, bitters etc. served in a warm setting that fits the restaurant name. That said, I was a little disappointed in the food. We ordered items that were featured on the tasting menu. Combinations sounded lively but everything could have used more seasoning. It's only been open about seven months so I would certainly give it another try.
Great new addition to second avenue's strip of restaurants with flavorful food and a very cozy ambiance!
Always love this place and have made it my unofficial "go-to" for a good casual meal on the Upper East Side. The food and service come with great attention to pleasing the customer. This last time we had some really tasty eggplant meatballs, yummy chicken pot-pie and the specialty beer came perfectly cold and with the right amount of foam. My only negative is that the desserts need help. I've enjoyed all my savory dishes, but somehow the desserts are lacking. Never mind that the desserts aren't great, because the rest is terrific!
The food was good but the service was incredibly slow. It took us 25 minutes to get our drinks and there were only 4 other tables in the place.
