The whole experience, with the exception of the genial service by our waitress, was exceedingly disappointing. In fact it was our first bad meal in Manchester. First, despite visibly open tables in an area outside with service which were never filled during our visit, we were refused them because we had not requested them in advance. We sat in the gloomy, almost empty interior at a small table although many larger ones were empty and remained so. We ordered cocktails but our meals, obviously pre-cooked and reheated, were delivered simultaneously. A minuscule piece of dry chicken was added to my dinner salad for an upcharge. Our waitress did us the favor of providing bread without an additional charge, but this was stated to be an exception. My weak cocktail was also a disappointment. As to value, $35 for a bowl of vegetarian pasta with very little of the promised asparagus seems excessive.

Very limited menu, that’s mainly why 3 stars. Only one special (an entree and a salad). Initially we asked for a 4 seat table instead of a 2 seat but were told we couldn’t because the other tables were reserved. We had a 5pm reservation and nobody came and sat at those tables. After our appetizer was served a waitress came over unexpectedly and pushed another table against ours so that our small table was not as crowded as it would have been, which we greatly appreciated.

We loved it! We’ve been coming to this area for five years and this was our first discovery of this amazing place. We sat outside on the amazing porch, but we were sad to miss the amazing live music that was playing inside. Too many amazing, but I’m just going to press send anyway.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a trip to Manchester and dinner at the Copper Grouse. We were very happy with our decision to dine here. Olivia was our waitress and was very attentive. She brought us two complimentary glasses of champagne as a nice surprise. Food was delicious and service was wonderful.

A great find here. Also one of the few places open on Mondays. But it was wonderful. The live music was very nice. The salmon entree was great. The appetizer tarine was surprisingly great. Friendly ambience. Would def go back.

Delicious food and hospitality! My server suggested several great options, including rhe tomato gazpacho soup, the tartine, and the Cod. The chef obviously sourced fresh, seasonal ingredients and they were all prepared wall with an attractive presentation. Service was friendly and attentive.

I always struggle when reservations are limited and I walk in and there is not one person at the bar or bar area. No bar reservations were available at 5:15 pm. Sat on the patio. Great setting and enjoyed our time there.

We had brunch & sat outside. Beautiful setting & service was great! Portions were just right & everything was cooked to our liking. Will definitely come back when we are in town again.
