Chef Houlbert brings a rare combination of classical French training and Vermont’s laid-back spirit, resulting in dishes that are both refined and deeply satisfying. His respect for the best of Vermont’s seasonal ingredients shines through in every plate. You can taste the precision of his technique—meticulous, restrained, and thoughtful—while still feeling the easygoing charm of the Green Mountains. We had brunch & sat outside. Beautiful setting & service was great! Portions were just right & everything was cooked to our liking. Will definitely come back when we are in town again.

This is a great place!!! The service is friendly and attentive. The food is outstanding made from the freshest ingredients. Our favorites are the eggs benedict, the beet salad and the wagyu bugwer.

We hadn’t been here for quite a while, and were very disappointed both with the prices (much too high) and the relatively limited menu selection. It seems they are trying to be a high end restaurant, based on prices, but miss the mark. Sadly, there are several other restaurants in the area that offer much better value for excellent food and at more reasonable prices. Service was very attentive and friendly, so no complaints there.

Nice restaurant at the Kimpton Taconic. A little pricey for what you get, but no need to leave the hotel.

Having a hard time reviewing this after just coming back from having dinner there. It's a mixed bag. The ambiance is very nice, we sat outside on the porch, there was nice live music and attentive if inexperienced service. The food was of decent to good quality also, but absolutely overpriced for what it is. We had the Vermont cheese plate appetizer and a pork chop. The cheese plate consists for 5 tiny pieces of cheese with a few crackers. How is that $29? There isn't even any cooking involved. The chop was cooked ok, a little more than I would normally like but I wasn't asked what temperature I'd prefer. Au Poivre Sauce was a bit heavy on the salt, and it came with spaetzle and some root vegetables. Again, decent quality, but not a $59 dish. The cherry on top for the experience was that I tried using their EV charger, which I was informed I can only do if I use their valet parking. Ok, not great, but we did that. After coming back from our semi- enjoyable dinner and tipping for the "valet" service that just consisted of handing me back my key we went to pick up our car. Come to find out that the charger had not actually worked. It initiated a charge but disconnected after 30 seconds or so, just as we had walked away from the car. So overall, a lot of money spent on a rather "mid" experience.

Had a lovely dinner on the front patio with friends and 4 children. Food was great, service was excellent. Loved the large patio and ambiance of the connecting hotel. Will 100% be back.

Our server Maxwell was attentive and personable. Loved sitting outside on the porch. The burger was amazing! Highly recommend.
