   Shihoban was awesome! She took very good care of us and was very personable. The food was delicious!

   We had several meals at the Copper Fox Gastropub. All of the meals (brunch, breakfast, dinner) were just awesome. Kerry took such good care of us on our first visit and that is why we returned several times while we were in Chicago. He was charming, friendly personable and kind. We. Highly recommend the Copper Fox, and be sure to ask for Kerry!!

   Went during happy hour. Select app were good and drinks were priced fairly well for a downtown location. Only downside is that you knew you were in a hotel. Never got that restaurant feel.

   I cannot recommend eating at The Copper Fox after the meal I had. We ordered the "nachos" and crab meat hush puppies appetizers. The nachos were made with potato chips, not tortilla chips, and were difficult to share because the cheese fused the chips together into one larger portion. The hush puppies were very heavy on the breading and light on the crab. I ordered the salmon entree and my guest ordered the pasta with meat sauce. I was shocked to see the salmon was served with a healthy dose of raw tomato paste as a base beneath the one fingerling potato (cut in half) and spinach. The paste was so acidic it was inedible, and who serves raw tomato paste anyway? The salmon itself was ok, but the whole dish was ruined with the thick tomato paste base layer. My guest said his pasta was just OK. Overall I was mostly embarrassed that I invited someone to eat here given the quality of the meal.

   The service was very confused and no one know who to work our table. They were not enough to take care of the guests. The asparagus ordered as a side came after we finished our main course. Waited for our drinks and water for 15 minutes and had to ask again to finally get it. Food was ok.

   While the food is good the term gastro pub is a misnomer - it’s basically a hotel restaurant adjacent to the lobby of the hotel - which was disappointing and not what we expected. Flat atmosphere and patchy service- all in all not a great experience

   Overall, really disjointed. Food is fine, but there is nothing remotely unique or worth a return visit. It took 20 minutes to get a server, the bartender was great and when she realized it hustled to get everything. The manager came over trying to take our order not 30 seconds later and gave some excuse at to why we were waiting. Our meal was comped, without us asking which was nice, but still kind of puts a damper on a night out when dinner goes wonky.
