Copper Canyon is the official restaurant of the Blue Bay Inn. Offering incredible southwestern cuisine and a tequila bar like no other, this award winning venue is most famously known for its pasilla pepper steak, crab cakes, and signature margaritas!

A 2011 & 2012 James Beard nominee, chef and owner, Michael Krikorian keeps things fresh and creative with amazing flavors in every dish.

A superior tequila bar with over 350 tequilas also allows for unique flights and tequila tastings regularly.

Tequila Dinners are a great way to try both the incredible food and some fine tequilas specifically paired with one another.

Still no sign on the door, 16 years later, Copper Canyon has built and maintained this business by word of mouth. Only horseshoes on the doors let you know that you have arrived at the one and only Copper Canyon.

The place is a little on the small side and the table next to us was a little too loud. I can’t fault the restaurant for this and the food was excellent. The wait staff wasn’t very attentive and even brought one of our meals to wrong table next us and we figured it out when we overheard them saying their meal was incorrect.

Was very impressed by the restaurant. Imagined it would have been a bar type atmosphere. It was not (though you could enjoy a bar on the other side). This was a cozy, intimate dinner and I am looking forward to going back.

The steak was awesome. The empanadas were very good- good margaritas. The noise and fast food napkins and freezer French fries weren't on par with the price.

Was greatly disappointed as I had been a regular when the restaurant opened across the street...the server had no passion for the food or the diner...food was bland and a shadow of its former self...perhaps the bar experience would have been better and I will try that before throwing in the towel

Steak is a delicate one of kind secret braised rub that can't be duplicated (I've tried). Been a Canyon runner since the one hour and out days across the street. Love Copper Canyon .

Food is always super fresh and creative. Best steak ever. Margaritas perfect - no mix - could be slightly larger for the $10+ price.

Copper Canyon is our go to stop and with good reason...the oysters with jalapeno will eventually make the permanent menu, I hope. The service is always very good, the Tequila selection is amazing, and the NY strip could be the best in NJ. We left something accidentally at the table when we left and the waiter ran down the street after us.

Although the food was excellent, particularly the crab cake and strip steak with cayenne fries, the service was less than desirable. The menu was not explained or romanced. Water glasses were not refilled automatically without asking. Conversely, we had to ask that the dinner plate not be removed from the table before we were finished. And when we were ready for the bill, the server was no where to be seen. In addition the hostess was on her cell phone. For what was expected to be fine dining, the service felt more like that found in a diner.

Drinks are delish & food is always flavorful & fresh. Steaks are out of this world-fries that accompany the steak are always CRISP & hot. Samantha was attentive without being a pest. Can’t wait to go back...

My husband comes for the steak every time we are in town visiting friends. He loves it. I tried it this time and have to say, not sure what the hype is about. Flavors were muted, and could have used salt. We sat in the back bar area which was perfect for having two kids with us. But as I’m sure you’ve heard it was so ungodly hot it really made the whole meal unpleasant. I wish we had been notified the AC was out. Our waitress was either too busy or just didn’t care. And one food runner, young man didn’t pay attention to steak temps as our table ordered 3. He brought out one and put it in front of me I asked the temp he rudely said “It’s yours”. Well he didn’t know, so he took them back to the kitchen and some else returned knowing the temps. I also could have touched the top of the steak and told him the temps on each. Definitely don’t feel the need to return. But you have so many return guests, I’m sure you don’t pay attention to one less than positive review.
