Enjoyed Sunday Brunch/Lunch with family. Very calm and comfortable atmosphere. Great food choices, specifically the "Crab Scrambled" and "Chicken Pot Pie".
I've been to this restaurant numerous times in the past. The food is always good and our service impeccable until this last visit. Our waiter was horrible. He rushed us to take our orders, we had to tell him that we weren't ready twice. When he came back and we were ready, he couldn't find a pen to take the order so he had to come back. He spilled salad dressing when he was clearing the table and didn't bother to wipe it up. He was just short of rude.
Key Lime Pie was more than magnificent!!!! Great ribs also
The Trout, the roasted chicken and the Eggplant Parm were all excellent. The spinach dip was great but short on chips. The chicken salad was disappointing to me - the chicken meat was not flavorful and the ingredients overall were fine but nothing about it stood out. The decor was appealing and out booth very spacious.
Came to celebrate a friend’s engagement that was visiting from out of town. Bragged heavily about Copper Canyon grill. The bride to be was super excited about her food and presentation and of course a strand of hair accompanied her mac and cheese after the first bite. The manager, Nathan, was apologetic and took it off the order. I was embarrassed, but they did their best, I guess. I won’t be bragging any longer, but would visit the Stanford locations from now on.
My first time visiting CCG. Service exceptional as all waitress and waiters work together to serve. Great menu selection. Looking foward to returning.
The food and plates are so greasy. Although the service is great, the food misses its mark. Needs more attention to details
Honestly I gave this restaurant a bad rating because there were gnats in our water and hair in our food but the chef did offer us free dessert (wasn’t impressed) service was decent but waiter was extra friendly which is a plus.....overall I think I would pass on eating here in the future.
Absolutely lovely! Both the food and the service was amazing!
Our grandson is allergic to shellfish so we were extremely pleased when our server Laura came back and said that the french fries he ordered would not be a good choice. We very much appreciated her attention to his special needs.
In addition, the kitchen was very attentive to my needs for food with no salt.
As cute as this restaurant was and as tasty as the food was, I won't be back.
Our group of four was seated and we all ordered cocktails. After a few minutes the server came around again we ordered two appetizers. Appetizer #1 arrived and we finished it, then Appetizer #2 arrived, and was half finished, all before our drink order finally appeared.
One of us was foolish enough to put in a second drink order. We assumed the drink was forgotten and had asked for the check when the drink arrived--just 2 minutes ahead of the check, roughly 25-30 minutes after ordering it, as we were (obviously) on our way out.
There is plenty of other good food in the area--in places where the bar delivers their drinks.
Our server Michael was awesome!!
2nd time dining here. Both were good experiences.
always a solid good meal, well cooked and friendly staff. best margarita in town. they cook fish well, I wish they had more fish entrees and appetizers.
The food was fine (plates were massive), but nothing special, and not many options if you are allergic to shellfish. The acoustics of the restaurant mean you have to lean in and shout very loudly over music/tvs/other diners to be heard by whoever is across the table from you. My guest was hard of hearing and had no idea what I was saying for the entire meal. Not an enjoyable experience. I probably won't go back.
Great place that we frequent! We were seated immediately with our Open Table reservation, which was outstanding since normally we have to still wait even with a reservation. The food was great, as usual and we even tried something new (an appetizer special for that day) , and all was great, as well!
Easter Sunday was the 2nd time I have dined at Copper Canyon. Both visits have been memorable. The 1st visit was a quiet dinner with my sisterfriend and the 2nd was a family affair. The food was delicious and the staff was great. I would highly to anyone who enjoys a good meal!
Copper Canyon is a great place for families. The seating is comfortable and roomy, service is excellent and the menu is varied.
For my daughter’s birthday, they were all prepared to put a candle in her dessert from my note on OpenTable. I was really impressed!
All around great experience
I've been to Copper Canyon three times, and every time is exceptional. The staff really know their dishes, and they are friendly and efficient, even when the restaurant is at capacity (which it always is, it seems!). I ordered the prime rib, which was excellent, and our appetizer was the spinach-artichoke dip. We'll definitely be returning to Copper Canyon whenever we visit Silver Spring again!
Friendly staff, great location, incredible food.
quick service, excellent food. Easy to make an online reservation with OpenTable - convenient
Food was absolutely delicious, service was quick attentive and helpful. We were down for a show at the Fillmore and we didn't have to worry about timing as the food came out quick. We'll be back
Arrived at reservation time and was promptly seated at time when walk ins were being advised 30-40 mins.
Service was prompt and not over bearing
Loved the Veggie Burger! Service was good and the greeting was nice. I will be back and would recommend.
It was my 18th Birthday and the experience was great! Ambiance was lively but not too noisy. The food and service was pretty good.
Fantastic service and food! Steph was our waitress, she did a fantastic job at stopping at our table often to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely will come back again. Reservations are highly recommended as well.
Best place ever. The food is great and the service is excellent. I will definitely go back there.😉
Loved the food and the service.
Maleik and his trainee were fantastic. First time there and i tried the corn bread & smoked salmon. It Was superb definitely tied for best salmon I’ve had, and that was when i was in Alaska and caught it fresh and smoked it. But overall it was a great atmosphere. It was quiet even sitting close to the kitchen. I’ll definitely have to go back! So much more to try!
Thank you! My sister enjoyed her 70th birthday. The bread pudding with a candle was very nice.
Our waiter Daniel was so accommodating during our surprise bridal brunch, amazing service!
We went with kids and the place has a decent menu. Food is good, and environment is comfortable and clean.
Food is always freshly prepared and consistently very good; wait staff is attentive and management is always circulating
Brittany was awesome!
Even with a reservation, we were initially seated right behind the reception station and near the front door (on a very cold evening). This, despite the fact that the restaurant was three-quarters empty. Only after requesting to be reseated, were we moved to another room where there were multiple empty tables that could have accommodated our group. The food was fair and overly salted. Our drinks arrived seconds before our entrees. Won't be making a return visit.
For us, the bottom line is simple: it's the only place that has really good prime rib, perhaps even better than The Prime Rib in DC. Accompaniments are also delicious, especially the wonderfully flavored mashed potatos.
Everything was delicious. The gluten free menu was great, and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and how they were prepared. The only disappointment was that there was no gluten free dessert other than ice cream and sorbet. I'm sure they can do better than that.
