Copper Canyon Grill - Silver Spring Ratings and Reviews
We had a good lunch - a bit pricey since there was no entree or sandwich less than $14.00. Service was very good, food was good, the veggie burger very good (if to tall to fit in your mouth!). It was quiet and the tables well separated which allows a good conversation.
The service was excellent, and the staff were very polite and helpful. I was mostly disappointed in the food. The Caesar salad was sweet due to the addition of cornbread croutons, and the chicken parmesan with linguine and asparagus (subbed for spinach) were unfortunately bland and overcooked. I really want to like this restaurant because it is where my fiance and I had one of our first dates. I may give it one more try when it is less busy.
We were meeting family visiting from out of town. To avoid the Sunday brunch crowd, we made our reservation for 11:30, but ended up arriving a bit after 11. Perhaps it was just a fluke but the restaurant never got crowded even by the time we left, so it was very quiet and we could have a nice conversation. I would imagine, though, if the place were full that it could get noisy (no carpeting, smallish booths close together). Our server was pleasant and helpful, answering questions about the menu. Food was good, decent sized portions. It's handy that the parking garage is practically next door. If we ever need a place to meet friends again in Silver Spring, we'll definitely consider Copper Canyon Grill.
Great food; great wait staff that is attentive, but not overbearing! Selections and freshness of food is always on point! Even though the brunch time goes to 2 pm, they should allow others to order from the lunch menu if they don't want brunch! Otherwise, a good time had by all!
