Copper Canyon Grill - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
Met with cousins for an evening of good cheer and catch-up. One of us is in a power scooter so the accommodations had to be special and the receptionist was quite understanding and agreeable to our needs and saw to it we had the table area that best fit.
I also have many allergies and doctor requests for a special diet and the head manager and chef came out to discuss options and specifics for my meal. It was delicious and safe for me.
Noise level did get a bit too high for good conversation however all in all a very nice evening.
Food and service were great...surpassing our expectations. We had the pot pie and rotisserie chicken, and deviled eggs appetizer. It was a convention week so no empty tables. Noisy inside due to the crowd. Too dark inside for us, so we ate on the patio, which was quiet and brighter.
Went while in town for a convention. Although a bit noisy, it was fun and the food was tasty. They have a team approach to service, meaning two or more individuals will be taking care of your table. I found this a bit confusing and I believe so did the staff as one didn’t always know what the other had already done. We ordered cornbread which we never received , but otherwise the food was very good. The ribs are very flavorful and fall of the bone and my husband loved his meatloaf. We will definitely visit again.
Skip this one. Sysco food prep with nothing special. Lunch for four with cocktails was over $125.00 for rotisserie chicken, ahi tuna and a burger . I am not price sensitive at all for dining. But I’d pass this one by with all ofOrlandos other options. 3 out of 10 stars.
It seemed like a nice place. The service was okay. They had a nice wine list. Our salads were great. The cornbread that came with them was very delicious. We both ordered the filet, medium-rare for me and medium plus for my wife. This is were the rating goes down. Mine was lucky if it was rare. My wife's was also undercooked (maybe not even medium-rare. They did take the steaks back to cook longer, but steak rarely (no pun intended) comes out well when trying to reheat it. Now both were overcooked. The place wasn't very busy for a Friday night. We were able to make reservations at the last minute. Except for the undercooked steaks, the rest of the visit was good.
Table of 8 colleagues dined while at convention center for conference. Servers were all wonderful and very well trained.
Food was just ok, didn’t match level of service staff. Six were completely done eating before the last two received their filet dinners. The manager made it right immediately, it just really took away from the meal.
Searched for recommended restaurants and booked the Copper Canyon with my family. When we got there I realised I had walked past it plenty of times but never gone in as the outside isn’t that appealing if you’ve not been inside. Little dark inside but not oppressively so. Good food, I had the ribs and they were excellent. The staff made a nice fuss of my daughter and we had a nice time. Worth a try
We were celebrating my husband's birthday and his favorite is Baltimore crab cakes. Since Copper Canyon is based in Maryland and they have Eastern Shore crab cakes on the menu, his mouth was watering. He liked them because they were mostly lump crab, with very little filler, but he thought they were very light on the Old Bay seasoning.
The rest of us had mundane menu items, like chicken, etc. It was very good, but pricey for what they served.
Service was very attentive. Even though we were there during happy hour, we could not get happy hour prices at the table and had to go to the bar ourselves to get happy hour drinks.
I had never been to the Copper Canyon before but my partner had, she had told me how good it was so we were looking forward to it. We were sat in a booth beside the bar for a 10pm meal, the server told us we would be looked after by the bar staff for our meal. Our order was taken promptly and wine served, that was the last we saw of our server. When the meals arrived the kitchen had cooked our steaks the wrong way round, I got a medium well where my partner got a rare, a simple swap you may think.....not when they are different cuts of steak.
I caught the attention of one of the staff and pointed out the error, the rare steak was taken away to be re-cooked, but I decided just to leave mine as was as I didn’t want to wait for another steak to be cooked as it was now 10.45pm.
When the re-cooked steak returned it was served with the wrong sides, I suggested that the whole plate be removed and replated correctly, but they insisted on bringing over other plates of sides instead.
At this point the duty manager arrived and we explained the situation to her, she said she would look after us and if we wanted a dessert to let her know, neither of us did want a dessert.
The duty manager came back to the table 5 minutes later with a $50 dollar gift card and also said that she had taken care of the full check which I thought was very generous indeed, we weren’t looking for a free meal, just to let them know the service had been poor that night.
This was the last night of our holiday, so wasn’t the best ending, however we would return as this just a one off blip that the manager more than corrected.
We could not believe the high quality of service and the food👍
Two of ordered the chicken and couldn't stop talking about how moist and flavorful it tasted! Another had the ribs which were equally delicious. My husband had the ahi salad which he raved about. Great table out of the hub so we could really hear and chat.
Great restaurant for a date, business dinner, or even a "nice family dinner" that is just a bit more upscale. A family of 6, with 2 kids can easily spend $200 on dinner and dessert and it's worth it. Their ribs and Mac n cheese are great, as is their rotisserie chicken. We go there all the time as the last dinner of our vacation in Orlando.
Second time we have eaten here when in the area. Everyone always has a good meal. The roast chicken is great. One person in party had the filet and it was excellent. Prepared perfectly. If you like comfort food, this is a place to visit. Service is also great. Definitely on the repeat list the next time we are in town.
