We had reservations but still had to wait. Our waitress was very slow, but the restaurant was busy. Food not so great. Shrimp Louie salad had no flavor, blt was good, egg salad sw good, potato salad not good. Granddaughters thought the cake was good and cappuccino was good. They were out of Apple strudel, eclairs, cream puffs, etc.

I had reservations for 1 pm and got seated at 1:10 the initial receptionist we had contact with said it would be a few minutes but then she seemed to forget about us. She left the desk and then a guy replaced her and asked us if we had been helped. So, I gave him my name and he seated us directly. After we got seated, all was good.

So I’ve been wanting to bring my mom here for a long time and we finally had a chance. Overall, great experience! I would had rather sat near the wall and not in the middle of the walkway but it was ok. The food was really good-I had the tri tip. My mom had the tuna. We both appreciated it. This place should not be looked over. It’s a photographers dream! Lol! Everyone takes a million photos there.

My server was great but the manager was awful ! He was so rude to me , other customers and the staff . He needs to learn about customer service and what it means to be a leader in a management position. The food ,however , perfect . The surrounding- beautiful! My server was a young kid who gave some tips on where to visit in SLO. Sweet guy.

Went in 2/18/23 with my family for dinner service and was greeted with very poor service. The floor supervisor's attitude was not friendly or inviting, the server was not very helpful in greeting our son with a surprise birthday cake nor did she sing or greet him happy birthday. After we had asked her discreetly to do so and instead asked us again at the table in front of birthday celebrant ( I heard its some ones birthday) We over heard another table had been sung to for the birthday celebrant just moments before. The food was cold so it was sitting awhile before being served. I'm Certain our family and guests wont be back. It is over rated. We were very unhappy with our experience

We were here two days ago and came back for breakfast. Our server, Katy, was fantastic! Everything was done to perfection. The place was hopping because it’s Valentine’s Day, and many were there to dine or pick up their famous Pink Champagne Cake. Even the manager was clearing tables, wiping them down, and greeting people with a big smile. We got a piece of the cake to go. Melt in your mouth, deliciousness with scrumptious white cake and champagne filling, topped with huge hot pink white chocolate curls. There ARE other cakes, but this eye-catcher is a must try.

This place has been in our California bucket list for years and we finally were able to go for Sunday brunch. It did not disappoint! All the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and gift shops were great - highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back!

Ladies Birthday lunch. Had a very nice visit and enjoyed the location. Wait staff was great. Ambiance was fun. Food was good. I wouldn’t try to use their in house atm machine again as it ate my card and it took 10 minutes to get it back and I never got any money. But the restaurant was good. Haha. I’ve been here many times and will be back again.

We got here late, (9pm) just decided to stop for desserts and coffee. Had a wonderful time with the kids! The desserts were amazing! Caramel latte was delicious! Love, the nostalgic, retro, ambience and hand carved wood designs all over! The black forest cake was delicious and a huge single slice that was enough for three people! The service was wonderful! Highly recommend!
