We had a very nice early dinner with friends. Tawny was our waitress and was excellent. She gave us plenty of time to order, checked on us frequently and was very friendly. My Reuben sandwich was the best one I have ever had. Pastrami was so tender and the cheese extra gooey! It was so nice being able to eat inside again!
We had breakfast on Sunday morning (04/18/21) and the restaurant was real busy. We had reservations so were seated within a few minutes. We sat in a booth in the bar area and our waiter had several tables plus serving those who were seated at the bar. He did a great job given how busy he was. All our food was good. Definitely worth eating here.
I recommend you just stop by for dessert, which is what they’re known for. There were a handful of folks waiting in the bakery line, and rightfully so. The chocolate cream pie was amazing and so light and airy. Our entrees, however, were the worst Monte Cristo’s we’ve ever had (extremely eggy and dripping oil).
They had us seated next to the fire place. And the food was so tasty. It was my little cousins 20th birthday
The Copper Cafe has a large menu and the food is good. Moderately priced, good ambiance and service
This place is one of our favorites. Coming from Bay Area to Pismo Beach we always stop by for breakfast or lunch. Food is great, service is always excellent, nice friendly faces. Thank you!!l
Came for the pink champagne cake and will keep in thinking about it until I visit The Copper cafe again!
My first time having breakfast here and it was felt. The staff was wonderful and the ambiance was the best.
Amazing food and the greatest atmosphere... and don't forget cake!
Excellent food, beautiful surroundings. We love eating at the Madonna.
The Madonna Inn is a must see. It’s a once in a lifetime experience, though the food was a bit disappointing, the entire experience was worth it!
All the food was amazing!
Get the cake!!
We had a great time! Enjoyed our brunch & great customer service!
No special menu for Easter holiday. Our server was so obviously fake nice. She needs a lesson on how to be sincere. A little less fakeness and a lot more sincere is definitely better. Also, unable to get folrt mignon on a holiday until 4pm. We have had several very bad experiences since covid. One more try and if it isnt great, no more Madonna Inn.
We were seating in the dining room. We each had a fantastic dining experience.
I am local and have been coming to Madonna Inn for 50 years. I have watched the food decline over the the years. My Eggs Benedict had fried eggs instead of poached. For the price they charge it should have been perfect! One of the most disappointing visits we had and we brought friends since it was Easter, so I didn’t want to complain!
Todo estuvo como esperado ; muy agradable lugar ; cómo historia y detalles ; muebles y decoración muy unique
Sandwich price unexpectedly high.
Salad was good
Men’s bathroom right side sink put out high water flow and splashed all over the vanity top... and me.
We will return but probably try the steak house
Atmosphere is delightful! Definitely would recommend!
Very festive for Easter! Food was delicious and the service was awesome!
This is a MUST SEE place!!! The food was really good! It’s pricey, but worth it for the ambience, the cool gift shop, the wine cellar AND the dessert!! Yummm!!! Soooo beautiful!!
Lovely atmosphere. Delicious food! Definitely recommend. I loved the beautiful pink environment and ambiance.
Food is good, dessert is best! Go for the ambiance! ....and dessert. Coffee is delicious and endless.
Had the Monte Cristo with excellent preserves and the Chef's salad which was full of meat and veggies. Also tried the famous Pink Cloud drinks (both alcoholic and virgin) and enjoyed the pink sugar crystals on top. Wonderful way to have a nice dinner with my daughter for her 17yo daughter for her birthday.
Food was very good at very reasonable prices. Service seems like working out the kinks after restarting indoor dining
The service at the Copper Cafe has always been terrible, but we'd hoped that with recent staffing changes that the waitstaff would finally get it together. It was over 20 minutes before we knew who our waitress was. We had to flag down a busboy for coffee, then flag down another busboy for sugar. It was clear that the waiters and waitresses don't work together, and when we asked other waitstaff for help in identifying who was the waiter/waitress for our table, we were literally ignored and given dirty looks. A hotel such as the Madonna Inn should not be satisfied with rude and incompetent waitstaff serving their guests. It makes the next door Dennys and IHOP much more appealing.
I highly recommend the waffle. It was crunchy and fluffy at the same time.
Our waitress was very short with us. Did not bring all of ordered food. When we asked for things it her a long time to bring. The prices we high for foods. She did not even bother to warm up pie so it was cold berry pie at $9 a slice. Madonna inn is still impressive but when you go expect to pay a minimum of $30 per person to eat at a cafe.
The breakfast was good, the cocktails were ok. Very diner feeling. But still fun.
The staff, especially Nancy, was just incredible, the ambiance was obviously phenomenal, and the food superb!
Outdated interior design, food really greasy. It’s definitely not worth the price . Very disappointed.
The location was easy to get to and the landscaping was breathtaking. The restaurant is a bit outdated, but the service and food is amazing.
The Food left a lot to be desired for the price. The service was ok, it seemed like they didn't want to be there.
The food was delicious! My husband loved the coffee and my kids and I had the fresh squeezed orange juice.
The food was so good! It was fun to walk around the garden afterwards and take photos. This is our new favorite place to eat in SLO- yum
Get the waffles. They’re amazing. Me snd my gf went snd loved it.
Awful cold food
Overpriced
Ran out of bakery I came for
Super awesome server named Sara
This quaint location was a great surprise on our day trip. The ambiance, staff, and food were excellent. Make sure you don't leave without trying their oatmeal raisin cookies! They reminded me of the homemade cookies my grandmother used to make.
We will definitely be back to try their Steak House.
Great food, was seated in the steakhouse dining room. Food and drinks were excellent.
Our brunch at the Madonna Inn on Sunday, March 21 was pleasant. We made reservations and did not have any wait time when we arrived. The booth we requested was available for us, 3. The food, coffee, service, apricot pie, was very good. I love taking my Mom for a special meal at the Copper Cafe, Madonna Inn.
