Please note that our patio is first come first serve and reservations are not accepted for outdoor seating. We only accept reservations for the dining room. A few tables as well as the bar are saved for walk ins. Due to our cozy setting, for reservations of parties over 4 people please call Coppa directly.
As Coppa is a small intimate restaurant with limited seats, we do ask if you are running late to please call and alert the host. If the party does not show up, the table is given away after 15 minutes. Thank you in advance!
We had a wonderful lunch here- the meatballs were fantastic as usual, broccoli was tender and tasty, and the oysters were outstanding. My date had the carbinara and we thought it was a bit too salty and thought it tasted a bit seafood-y, but overall, we enjoyed the food. We had a very kind and knowledegable waitress. The host/hostess were not overly welcoming, but we didn’t have to spend much time waiting, as we were sat pretty quickly for our reservation time.
Had an amazing dinner here with my friends. The pizza there is really delicious. Highly recommend the sopressata pizza and the arancini.
Good music and overall experience was intimate and cozy but carbonara was lacking and slightly soupy, burrata toast and cavatelli delicious.
They had me at Negronis on tap! My favorite cocktail to sip while I enjoy outstanding food. The completely comfortable vibe adds to the A+ experience.
Fun . Excellent charcuterie and cheese board. Try the celery Caesar fantastic.
Wonderful food, excellent service, cozy and warm atmosphere. Took a friend from out of town there for dinner and it was the highlight of her visit to Boston. Thanks, Coppa, for a fantastic night.
Had a lovely meal at Coppa after moving into the neighborhood. Meatballs and Oysters are both excellent starters. Highly recommend the sopressata pizza and carbonara as main courses.
We went here for my boyfriends 30th birthday and everything was delicious. Really fair prices and we both felt perfect portions. We had the duck prosciutto, spaghetti carbonara and manitilli, and tiramisu for dessert. Our waitress was super helpful with our wine selections and recommending a cheese to go with our prosciutto as well :)
Coppa never disappoints.
The wine and food selection here is always superb. The service is excellent. It's a tiny place, so be ready to easily eye your neighbor's meal while you make your own selections, but it's totally worth it to be packed like sardines... which reminds me that I should have ordered the boquerones (anchovies) which from previous visits have been delicious.
Always terrific, but the scallops were particularly good.
Outstanding!!! I am not overly fond of restaurants that seat closely together. While this place is tiny it is exceptionally well done. The ambiance and delicious food quickly alleviated any anxiety I had about sitting so close to strangers. The romantic ambiance coupled with the throwback hip hop music is an interestingly delightful combination.
Everything was absolutely amazing. The service was great and the food was phenomenal. Highly highly suggest the fois gras with the brioche. One of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. If you’re feeling Adventurous I also highly reccomoned the pig ear terrine, an incredibly unique and tasty dish.
My favorite place to go to dinner in Boston.
The place is a small cramped space. You can hear the person on the next table better than your own guest. The food menu is different and unique, but that doesn't reflect into the quality of food. The sea urchin pasta was floating in the pasta sauce. Beer menu is small and lists 4-5 options only. Pizza was the highlight of the night and saved the day for us. Would not go back again for the overpriced meal !!
The food and service were amazing!! Highly recommend!
The pancake and pizza and broccoli were all so good wow
Food was a bit uneven as were the portion sizes. The pasta was particularly small for $22 and the celery caesar was enormous. The ambiance is really unfortunate. We reserved far in advance and got a really crammed table and it was the loudest dining experience I've had in a while. In addition, they seemed understaffed at least in taking orders for food and drinks. We had one dish that tasted kind of off. The pizza dough was delicious but the toppings were negligible except for the cheese which sort of overwhelmed everything else.
Fantastic meal. Inventive and well done. Will be going back.
Lovely meal and experience. Try the Bloody Mary before getting the pitcher, it’s a bit different than what you might expect. The service is always welcoming and warm.
This is some of the best Italian food I’ve had ever, let alone in Boston. Everything was amazing.
Wonderful food and ambiance.
Excellent charcuterie, brilliant products unavailable elsewhere. Giant 5 selection board was outstanding.
Inventive small plates like sea urchin and beef tongue panini, plump white anchovies...lots of red pepper on that one. Pastas around me were redolent with garlic but I came for the pork. A snippet of well-seared foie sealed the meal. It's a tight space for all the tables in there. Perhaps a seat at the long bar next time...
The restaurant is very intimate and clean. It isn’t too loud which is great and the food was even better. The taligatelle and carbonara were unique and very well prepared. The pizza was also so delicious and crispy and flavorful. So many delicious dishes at this place!
From start to finish I enjoyed every interaction, sip and bite. Will return like always.
Excellent food, low key atmosphere. Nice place to go with a small group
Fantastic food! Loved the service. When we sat down we were right by the door, and the hostess was super understanding about how cold we were and laughed and quickly found us a new spot. top to bottom, great meal and experience. Great wine list.
such.good.food. awesome service, very cute romantic spot.
Very good gourmet Italian restaurant, small plates. Excellent variety.
We were celebrating our 6 year relationship and our waitress was far from friendly. Did not tell us specials and did not explain the wines, cheeses or meats.
Our waitress was very nice and pleasant. But the tables are sooo close together that is was difficult passing through to get to our seats. It’s a pretty tiny place. We arrived a half hour early for our reservation and was pleasantly surprised they were able to seat us. As for the menu, somewhat limited. Our meals were very spicy over all. But the margarita pizza was very good.
we had an outstanding pizza with a fabulous glass of wine and a fantastic celery
Caesar salad. Would go there tomorrow it was so fantastic!!
Disappointed in the flavors of the meatballs, arincini and tagliatelle. All dishes were ok and not great. Arincini has orange zest which did not help the dish. The Tarimisu was more of a cake with hazelnut. Not really light or fluffy. Felt the prices were high for the pasta for the small portion. Surprised that this restaurant has made the best of Boston lists.
Food, wine, and service outstanding. Tables packed together, unfortunately we were seated next to door so constant cold drafts from diners coming in.
The Coppa pizza with Brussel sprouts, talleggio cheese & horseradish was incredible. Sip on the sweet potato cocktail (trust me).
seats are not cozy feeling and sometimes you can hear the conversation of the table next to you, but the food is great and the servers are knowledgable and friendly. Oysters were great, pizza was awesome
