Coppa is an intimate enoteca tucked on a quiet side street in Boston's South End featuring Italian small plates created by James Beard Award-winning Chefs Jamie Bissonnette and Ken Oringer. Everything is made with locally sourced and sustainable ingredients. Coppa has an eclectic wine list, and unique cordial-based cocktails.
Please note that our patio is first come first serve and reservations are not accepted for outdoor seating. We only accept reservations for the dining room. A few tables as well as the bar are saved for walk ins. Due to our cozy setting, for reservations of parties over 4 people please call Coppa directly.
As Coppa is a small intimate restaurant with limited seats, we do ask if you are running late to please call and alert the host. If the party does not show up, the table is given away after 15 minutes. Thank you in advance!

Coppa Ratings and Reviews
Another delicious meal at Coppa. We ordered the Arancini, House Salad, Roasted Delicata Squash, Tagliatelle con Sugo, and the Margherita Pizza, and the Chocolate Gelato to share. The house red wine is always a good choice as well!
We'll certainly be back again!
Coppa has been a favorite place to come (even though we live an hour away) for a very good dinner. The menu this time seemed more limited and more common. Three of the dishes we had were excellent and two were ordinary. We will definitely go back, but not for a while. Oh, and the room was too cool.
Honestly i was blown away by Coppa! In from out of town it came highly recommended and didn’t dissapoint. The food, the wine, the service, the ambience... everything was delicious and perfect! I’m back home now and wish i had Coppa in LA to go to all the time! A must try!
I was traveling for business and wanted a fun-friendly atmosphere with bar seating (since I eat solo often), great wine, and small plates for tasting. All things checked off with Coppa, not to mention the food was fantastic! Great for dining solo since larger plates can be ordered by half plate allowing single diners to try more things off the menu. Devin, my bartender/server made sure I was well informed, made great suggestions, and was hands down a pleasure. Let's put it this way, when I met a girlfriend for dinner the very next night, guess where I ended up? Yep, Coppa for 2 consecutive days! I've already recommended it for a friend visiting Boston this weekend! Go to Coppa, say hello to Dustin. You won't be disappointed. Buon appetito!
The food was outstanding, service was great, atmosphere was quaint, but warming, only downside I would say is it is very pricey for the VERY small amount of food you get. It if wasn't for this I would go back. It is tapas style, but too expensive for what you get. Drinks menu is equally over priced. 1 can of local beer was $10 (sold $4 elsewhere). 2 people with a pasta and a pizza and beer a piece was about $70 and we left still hungry, but tasted amazing so there's that.
Coppa is a great restaurant. I would have given it five stars, but the fact that they make gluten free pasta homemade but only serve it as having been cooked in a non-gluten-free pot of hot pasta water makes the gluten free pasta option pointless. I did not know this going into an Anniversary Dinner with my boyfriend who has Cecliacs, and unfortunately the menu options for him were very limited.
Ok, this restaurant and guys who work there ARE AMAZING! I and my fiance were celebrating his birthday there. I added a special instruction during table reservation, that I want to order a dessert with a candle and a cup of espresso for my man after our main dish. After we came, we were seated at the desired table outside (it was too noisy inside, even though it was Wednesday) but the weather was so nice, so we decided to stay outside and enjoy our dinner there. We had a tomato salad with melon as our appetizer and also ordered 2 pastas and pizza. The food was outstanding and very traditional. Everything was delicious. We also ordered 2 cocktails to warm up our stomachs before the food. They were made just perfect as well. By the way, our waitress helped us to figure out what to start with, what dishes are the most popular one and also helped me to choose wine for my pasta. I was pretty nervous about my special request, so I asked their admin if they got it. He came to me saying "a dessert with candle and a cup of espresso?" I was SUPER surprised and agreed, he said "you got it". And WE GOT IT! My fiance loved the surprise and enjoyed his dessert and coffee. Long story goes short...Coppa is THE BEST RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN. And their worker are VERY attentive and careful. We will definitely come back for more.
P.S.Sorry for such an odd review, I'm just TOO excited about our experience!!!
This was my first time dining at Coppa restaurant and I had heard many great things - all of those were true! I would go back in a heartbeat. My date and I sat outside, which was lovely and inside seemed chic and cozy. For a Wednesday night it was packed, so get there early! Overall, a must-visit.
Coppa is a nice, intimate neighborhood spot in the South End with great small plate fare. The waitstaff was courteous and friendly, and all of the dishes we had were creative and delicious.
It was a nice relaxing, deliberate atmosphere and I wouldn't recommend Coppa if you're in a hurry or on a tight schedule - but why bother eating carefully prepared dishes if you don't have time to enjoy anyways?
The only negative was lack of parking. We ended up going to the 100 Clarendon garage and walking back, making an evening there reliant on nice weather.
Highly recommended off the beaten path spot!
This was my second time at Coppa and it did not disappoint. We came here for our first anniversary and had an amazing meal, such a nice server who explained all of the fancy wine and cheese offerings to us and did not rush us at all with ordering our next course. I would recommend Coppa to anyone and everyone!
We called as we were running about 10 minutes late for our reservation. Staff was very pleasant and understanding. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. Helped us with our wine selections. The food was delicious! Our second time at Coppa, can't wait to return.
