Tuna special was wonderful. As was the steak Fillet. We’ll be back for sure
A lovely respite from the hustle bustle of downtown Palm Springs.
On Cary Grant's former estate, the "gate house" is charming and the outdoor seating is magical. Twinkly lights, stargazing, lovely service and food.
Excellent like always.
This was our 3rd visit to Copley's (Anniversary Dinner) and it is always great food & service. We love their patio dining and they always have great wine choices (we found a new one this time!). It was nice they recognized our Anniversary at dessert time with a candle...
This was our first visit and everything was outstanding. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely outdoor seating, nice food but a bit expensive. The water was amicable .
My birthday and everyone wonderful as usual
Food and service very good. It is unreasonable to expect every customer to valley park. We arrived at 6 pm and there were only 4 cars in the parking lot, yet we were asked to go out on the street and find parking? That is a problem which I will think twice before I make a reservation at the restaurant again.
The perfect romantic rendezvous with excellent cuisine!
We love Copleys.. I wish they would add to menu for a little more variety. Love Gregg who runs front of the house!
The Sticky toffee date pudding is amazing! Great food and atmosphere.
Am glad we tried Copley's! Neat outdoor setting and the food was great. Our waiter was awesome!
This is one of my top three favorites in Palm Springs. The food is so special, and the staff is always very friendly and professional. Copley’s is a sexy restaurant.
Birthday dinner with my best friend.
Although the waiter was charming, it’s important to watch body language of the customers and not to interrupt when engaged in a deep conversation. It’s all about the timing.
Everything was wonderful!
A wonderful part of the movie colony history of Palm Springs.
Cozy intimate indoor dining and a lovely private outdoor patio as well to suit any taste. The service is excellent and the food is also great. Certainly worth putting on your list even if you only have a few days in town.
Have been to Copley's on several occasions, and unfortunately, found this visit to be quite disappointing. It almost seems as though they're living on their name and prior reputation. Possibly since they opened a restaurant in Palm Desert, they are focusing on that restaurant--don't know if that's the case. As we sat down, our table was pretty unstable; a few pieces of silverware fell off the table--no offer to switch tables, nor do anything to stabilize the table. We ordered a bottle of wine and then ordered appetizers before having the server take our dinner order, just so we wouldn't be rushed. Well, the wine came and then our appetizers came. Before we were done with our appetizers there was one of the wait staff standing at our table with our dinners--as we rushed through the remainder of our appetizer! Sorry, at these prices, and from a former maitre'd, that is unacceptable! I would have to say the food was quite unimpressive--presentation nice, taste was nothing special-also their menu never changes. We have decided to take a break from Copley's on future visits--with all the competition in the Valley, no restaurant should become so full of themselves to feel as though prior reputation will keep them filling their reservation list.
Wow! Loved this place so much! I’ve been wanting to go here for a year or so, but never managed to plan my reservations in enough time (and it’s always been booked). It was our wedding anniversary so got this booked a few weeks in advance and im so glad! It was just perfect. Perfect ambience for a special meal... the food was among the best we’ve had in Palm Springs. My wife said her steak was the best she’s ever had. This is most definitely going to be our special date spot and the place we will bring visitors! Loved it!
We had a great outdoor dining experience at Copley's. The service was outstanding and there's a lot on the menu to choose from. The Maine scallops were excellent and cooked to perfection. The outdoor dining is the best. Will definitely return!!
Great anniversary celebration
Enjoyed our dinner on the charming patio. Food and service were both excellent.
We chose to spend our anniversary at Copley’s for a special evening because of the superior quality of food and service we’ve always experienced there. They did not disappoint. Outstanding and highly recommend!! Thanks to Greg and his team for a wonderful evening!
This restaurant was recommended by friends. We were excited to go but weather did not permit us to sit outside (was cool and very windy). The service inside was cool as well. Waiter did not seem overly interested in serving us. Food was good but a bit overpriced. Overall I wish we could have been outside and had a different server as this might have made the experience better.
Horrible food. Owner made it up to us and took our entrees off the bill.
Great dining experience! Our waitress, Alex, very attentive and overall great service.
Our server Alex was amazing and made our evening fantastic! The food was delicious and the ambience was perfect.
We had a terrible server. Food was good but not exceptional. We had to go to manager to get waited on. The garden setting is lovely and atmosphere great. My friends recommended it.
The food at Copley's was fresh and well-prepared. Service was excellent and personal. WE ate inside, but the courtyard also looked lovely.
Lovely setting. courteous wait staff and hostess was terrific. Lovely place for an evening out in Palm Springs
I have dined at Copley's a number of times and have always found the food and service very good. This time was my partner's b'day and we both enjoyed our meals. We will certainly go back.
Beautiful setting w very good service. The problem is the food. I live in san francisco. I love palm springs and especially like Copley's. It is popular because it is such a great setting. But the cooking is mediocre like most places in Palm Springs, including Jake's, Wally's, etc. all restaurants we like and frequent. We are looking for 'our place,' something that measures up to the better places in Northern California.
The best place to dine in Palm Springs. Outside dining is a must, it's very charming and comfortable. Service was impeccable, food was delicious. Would have eaten here every night if I had known.
Delicious meal, great friendly service and perfect ambience!
Our server was extremely friendly and professional. My whole family agreed she was the best server we have ever had. The food was excellent but I do not recommend the ahi tacos. The were very small and were more like ahi bites. The papperdelle pasta special was delicious. My son loved the salmon. Wonderful atmosphere...
Copley's is always an enormous pleasure to visit. Using a second home in Palm Springs now for 40 years and observing the local restaurant scene grow and mature during that time, we feel that it is one the premier eating places in the valley.
I love celebrating my birthday at Copley's! Everything is perfect. ..every year and I'm on #9!!! Our Waiter Paul (the Best) is like Family and Greg Butterfield is my extended Family. Best in The Desert💋💕💖💜🌴🌵
Whenever we come to Palm Springs we go to this restaurant and have never been disappointed - outstanding food, service, and ambiance - ask for an outdoor table u will be happy you did!
We spend a week in the Palm Springs area almost every year. We always try new restaurants both upscale and casual. Amazingly enough, we had never been to Copleys. I was expecting friendly service and delicious food—who wouldn’t? I am actually quite easy to please and am a very personable kind of guy. I dined with my wife and our two well behaved children. Our server, Jessica, was only barely there. She showed up to our table a little grumpy and no amount of friendly banter on our part could crack her. I assumed she was having an off night but after a lovely two hour dinner beneath the stars, ordering salads, multiple cocktails, a delicious filet mignon... she couldn’t be troubled to smile or engage with us. My wife, who usually is quite easy to please and dines out in San Francisco almost daily, was even put off. Never mind, our night was not ruined. But this server did reflect poorly on your restaurant. The ambience was on point and our entrees were excellent. The salads were uninspired but the cocktails made up for it. The Makers 46 Manhattan was good enough for me to order twice. Would probably give Copley’s another go but I’ll probably check out some other spots first.
We visited Copley’s again to celebrate our Son and Daughter-in-law’s first year anniversary. We love the outside seating with the lights on the trees, the fountain, and the fire. The service was wonderful and the food was excellent!
We chose Copley’s because of its reputation for excellent food in a great setting. When we arrived we were offered a table inside or outside. We chose outside and our table was by the fountain with palm and fire pit views. The server, Alice, was with us very quickly delivering menus, drink carte and information about the cocktails and the venue. Our drinks came and Alice gave time to enjoy and chat over them. Alice appeared once or twice to check on us and discuss the specials and answer menu questions. We ordered based upon good advice from Alice. My wife had the Salmon which she said was delicious. However she had to remove the brown inner skin from the bottom of the fillet. Our guest had the sea scallops and liked the taste and preparation. I had the special of short ribs which was also very good. We shared one crepe brûlée which was also good. The evening was beautiful, we were well served, not rushed and enjoyed a most pleasant evening. I would add that the restaurant has a large farm table that appears to seat12-20 for a family or friends gathering. We all agreed we would return
