Wonderful food, beautiful outdoor seating & great service!
We had a perfect dining experience. After a friendly greeting, we were seated on the pretty patio under the near-full moon. It was a cool evening but the portable heaters were on for diner comfort. Our waitress was great--pleasant, helpful, and attentive. My wife and I shared a good and unusual Caesar salad with bacon (requested anchovies) and grilled fresh pineapple instead of bread croutons. We each had the pork chop entree which was delicious. This was our first visit but won't be our last.
Going through the motions. Over cooked salmon. Salad over dressed when asked for light dressing. My wife’s pasta was mediocre
Wine selection an embarrassing lack of interest. Lousy California private label selection and a Kenwood by the glass sparkling wine.
There are so many better options in the desert
Don’t bother going here
Anniversary 29 years
We had an excellent meal, good wine and exceptional service from our waiter, Paul!
Great night with excellent friendly service. The weather was cool but the heaters worked great. We were celebrating my wife’s 61st birthday. The food was really good.
We had been looking forward to dinner at this historic restaurant and were disappointed. We had been here for two Hppy Hours and both were very enjoyable. Dinner however, not so much. We dined indoors as it was a very cool night in Palm Springs. Outdoors may have been a better option as our table felt cramped and the next table was extremely loud. Perhaps we should have asked to move, but did not. Food was just OK. We had to send the truffle fries back three times to get them hot and crispy. The fries were not on the bill.
So, I would recommend for Happy Hour but not for dinner.
Excellent. Thank You. Food was very good. Criticism is one of the dessert item is not a soufflé, just a small lava cake/torte.
We were seated right next to the entry way into the kitchen hence all the servers were continually shuffling by w dishes coming & going. It was LOUD as some silverware was dropped all that noise detracted from the ambiance. Plus the tables were close together and we had a couple sitting next to us who were loud. When the waiter was helping them, his backside was right in our face so that too detracted from our dinner. Tables were too close.
Our service was slow but the primary waiter was friendly and was helped out by other services folks who helped w bread, and bringing out dishes which was OK.
I am hesitant at recommending Copley’s for these reasons and given that it was a cool evening, despite the outdoor heaters we didn’t want to sit outdoors.
Just an OK ( not a WOW) experience.
Poor wait service....
Did not get the order request correct.
Aloof and unattentive
Our server Jeffrey was excellent. He had a nice way of guiding us through the menu with excellent wine recommendations. We also had great conversation as he’s a former New Yorker. The food and the experience were both fantastic!
Good food in an elegant but not stuffy atmosphere. Service was attentive and pleasant. Food was very good. Between my wife and I we had a filet and ahi tuna, bit excellent.
Wonderful ambiance and outstanding meal. This is the kind of restaurant at which one should take their time to savor the meal, the surroundings and the company. I'd say plan for 2 to 3 hours. A very enjoyable experience
Excellent for outdoor dining in an enclosed open air patio, food was excellent service “Gary” again excellent .
The food was excellent and ambiance very nice
Service was efficient without being intrusive. Food was prepared as requested and substitution made without any hassle. We will go back. Wine list might be a little pricey.
Everything about our evening was amazing, I only have one complaint with would be the lack of vegan or vegetarian options at the restaurant. Fortunately my girlfriend and I are not hard core vegetarians and were able to settle for the pasta dish with shrimp in it. the food was amazing it would just be nice to see more vegetarian options for future guests who might not be as open to breaking their vegetarian ways.
Very good meal in a nice setting ... great place for date night with that special person.
Excellent service, great food, a beautiful outdoor garden setting, and the provenance of having been Carry Grant's cottage. Pretty hard to do better than that for an old world Palm Springs experience.
Top-notch service, nice menu, old-school ambiance.
Everything was perfect, wine, starters, entree, dessert, service & setting. A bit more pricey than some places, but worth it. Definitely don't skip appetizers. They are small bites, but divine. I made 1 meal only of starters. Most diners casually dressed, but the restaurant could easily be for a special date or event.
Great service and great venues, celebrating birthdays and the host and wait staff did great
We were so happy to finally dine at this beautiful and delicious restaurant. We had several
mis-haps before.... having to cancel our reservation - but this time was the charm and left us wanting many more meals there. We had the lamb and Barramundi fish -both equally delicious with outstanding sides of fries, parpadelle, and great wine too. Dessert was one of the best ever - the toffee and date stucky pudding with a dab of ice cream and whipped cream. YUM ! Can't wait to go back. It's worth the drive from L.A.
The bread was warm and tasty. The lobster ceviche appetizer was bland and disappointing. The Muscovy Duck entree was excellent. The Seared Ahi entree was very good (a bit too rare though.) The Basil Ice Cream with Lavender Pound Cake was excellent. The ambiance and service were excellent.
Very pricey but overall satisfying. Would eat here again!
Traditional fare but done very well nothing to get excited about. Reasonable wine cost. Old guard kind of place.
Copley’s is a hit every time. One of the best special occasion dining experiences in Palm Springs.
Never fails to impress! Sesame crusted ahi was cooked perfectly and presented well. Desserts were delicious! Can't wait to return.
Always busy and rightly so. The food was very good and the wine list interesting.
Great tmosphere especially on the patio
Copley’s is our “must do” place when I n Palm Springs. From the first greeting you know you are in for a treat. Service done well and an atmosphere that never seems rushed. It’s dining in a by gone era with service that often seems gone as well. Reserve now.
Dined on Valentines Day, we were impressed how spot on everything ran like clockwork. Great ambiance and fabulous food. The surf and turf was good - lobster tail was excellent. My fish dish was good just a touched over cooked but a great evening.
We love Copley’s to impress friends or an intimate dinner for two. Impeccable service and food with a beautiful setting. It is our go to place for special occasions or just a great evening with others.
We celebrated Valentines Day at Copley’s. Service and food were excellent, ambiance cozy and romantic. One of our favorite Palm Springs restaurants.
I was so excited to go back to this wonderful restaurant but this experience was nothing like my first dining experience. Everything was perfect but our server was inattentive to us for the entire meal. He ruined a beautiful evening of celebration and I left frustrated and extremely disappointed. I should not have to request a good server when I make a reservation. I expect good service but it was severely lacking last night.
Excellent service and food. Lovely setting. Sat outside on a cool evening but was very comfortable because of the heaters. Waitress was excellent, very good recommendations and friendly and professional. Food was excellent. Not cheap, but probably not unreasonable for the area.
Everything was amazing! Even our server Paul did a fantastic job! Will def have to come back The patio was so beautiful
Dining outside is always such a pleasure. The food is always lovely, and you can actually hear the conversation at your table.
We first ate here 13 years ago, yet every time we passed through Palm Spring on a Sunday we were to early for dinner. This was a birthday dinner for me, so we drove 197 from Lake Havasu got a room and went for the most tasteful, elegantly and relaxing dining room . With a wonderful staff and a concerned manager/owner that only a great restaurant could have. My words cannot describe the experience, you have to try it yourself -- honestly.
Our second visit to Copleys, love the atmosphere and the outdoor dining, will be back again soon.
Very romantic dining location on part of the Old Cary Grant Estate. There were a variety of dinner options plus a fully - stocked bar. Very Cody and easy to carry on a nice conversation among 4 guests. Centrally located in downtown town Palm Springs, California.
Food was amazing, ambiance was a 10 and service was even better!
