Consistently good food & service. Enough menu choices to please everyone. Desserts come from their adjacent bakery and are very good also. My wife and I have been going here for years and have never had a bad experience.
Answered for husband only re the food. We were five so that should be higher I think. Nice to have an attractive place where you can enjoy talking without shouting at each other.
A great restaurant. Good food and service. We will return.
Great meals and great service. Always enjoy the Specials but the menu items are great as well.
Food is always delicious. Menu selections covers many tastes. Staff is very helpful and congenial Copenhagen is our favorite.
Good food at a very reasonable price. The service is great, they take good care of you. For an affordable night out it is great.
Food is slightly overpriced. Chairs are hard so if you have a bad back, beware! Service was OK, but they were shorthanded. Probably won't go back.
Lots of choices for every taste. Good location. Excellent desert options.
Food was good, especially the steak! Juicy and tender - cooked just right. The wait staff were excellent. Add bonus is that the restaurant is part of the bakery & cafe, so you have a wonderful selection of tasty pastries for dessert.
Always consistent & delicious! The beef stroganoff & the Chinese chicken salad are especially wonderful, & the relaxed atmosphere makes dining here a very pleasant experience.
The food and service was fine. I think it's acceptable for everyday dining, but there wasn't anything that was outstanding. I'll try another place first before going back.
Good experience. Had several dishes in our large group and all were good
Food was good as it usual. On this night the restaurant was not busy, but service was very slow.
Delicious as ever. The menu is very European and classic comfort food so if you’re looking for gastronomy, new age cuisine or extensive wine list Copenhagen is not the place. The ambiance is homey and casual but the dishes are always expertly prepared and flavorful. So happy that Copenhagen has added soup or salad back to the inclusions with entrees. And contrary to previous posters the portion sizes were never decreased and fresh flowers have always been on tables. Copenhagen is a delightful go-to for a consistently great meal and service. The in-house Danish bakery is an extra added sweet bonus!
Our favorite neighborhood place for decades. We had the special sea bass for dinner and it was perfection. So unique to have Scandinavian choices too. Save room for dessert; bread pudding and pies are favorites. Danka Copenhagen!
Enjoyed our meal and choices options were sufficient.
We had a lovely, casual dinner at Copenhagen. Our food tasted fresh and for the price was a very good value. Afterwards I wondered why we don't come here more often ... and I think we will! It was quiet, the service was very attentive and dinner was delicious!
Really excellent food. They used to include soup or salad with dinner entrees but no longer do so. Wish they would return to that, even if the price was increased a little. Restrooms need some attention
We’ve visited this place many times – great for casual, low-key occasions - warm, welcoming ambiance :-)
We've been dining at this neighborhood place for years. Now the portions are smaller, salad or soup has been omitted on entree, and even fresh flowers are no longer on the table Dinner for 2 - house salad and entree was $70.00 tax and tip, no drinks, no dessert. Think we'll look for another restaurant nearby!!
A neighborhood gem. Wonderful for either lunch or dinner.
Another delicious meal! Enjoyed St Paddy’s Day sitting at a window table watching the Burlingame Ave scene.
Having dinner with my neighbors and their two kids. We all enjoyed our meals. Had a great table by the window. Food was excellent and service was great. Everybody enjoyed their meal. My husband (now deceased) and I used to have breakfast, lunch and dinner very often as well as visits for coffee and delicious pastries. Great place.
Service is excellent as always and food is very good, hearty and homey. We used to love coming here but now we are very sorry to see that prices have been raised significantly and the formerly included soup or salad with entrees and specials has been discontinued without any logical explanation. Note to management: the prices shown on your Open Table menu are the old prices and you still indicate the soup or salad is included. The prices of the entrees my husband and I had this visit have increased by 21% and 32% (Frikadella and Chicken Schnitzel). The food is still great with ample portions but there is no new value or improvement in the food, decor or experience, considering the huge price increase and exclusion of the first course. I would completely understand raising prices OR eliminating the first course but to do both seems overly agressive.
Prices have been raised, and the option of soup or dinner salad included with dinner is no longer an option.
Good middle of the road food and service. Conveniently located.
Disappointed for the first time ever. The salmon special was over-cooked and dry with very boring tarter sauce instead of the usual nice sauce. Is there a new cook? The food just didn’t seem as great as usual. Salad or soup is no longer included with the specials but they are included with “regular” entrees. That doesn’t make any sense when the specials cost $8 - $10 more. Service was very good as always but this meal was disappointing.
This is a gem in the neighborhood! Usually known for the outstanding bakery, also offers a delicious lunch and dinner menu. I had the chicken fettucine with an amazing sauce! Lots of locals like the relaxing atmosphere.
We are return happy customers and love this restaurant!
Although we have bought items from the bakery many times over the years, first time we ever had dinner at Copenhagen. Food was excellent and pricing was reasonable. Service was okay; would be better if staff was increased. Except for having assistance clearing the table, waitress had no help for our party of 7. Water was not refilled, even after one member of our party accidentally spilled theirs.
We have lunch and dinner at Copenhagen quite often.
The food is consistently good, service attentive.
Food is served at the right temperature, the vegetables are fresh.
Copenhagen is not fancy (meaning not stuffy) and not too expensive.
We enjoy Copenhagen.
Have eaten here often and the quality has always been consistent and enjoyable! Will be back again soon.
This time the Copenhagen restaurant gave me the worst possible experience. I had the reservation made and arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes prior to my reservation of 6:30 pm.
The hostess Nuri took me to the table in the back. My friend had not arrived as yet, I asked for table in the front by the window but she refused to give the table to me. She said the party was coming. The entire section was empty except the middle row for six people which she was expecting. My friend arrived and saw me sitting at the back and did not like to sit there. The hostess reluctantly gave us the table for two by the window. We finished the dinner and the front area was still empty except table for six in the middle.
The hostess Nuri was arrogant and rude.
This has been a favorite restaurant since Copenhagen began serving dinners. The food is consistently good & is better than most restaurants on the Avenue even though it is mostly a bakery by day and restaurant by night. The servings are generous and the food always tastes so fresh.
You can always count on Copenhagen for good food and service. Food is always fresh. Great kids menu too.
Always a favorite with consistently good food and great service.
Always a wonderful dining experience at Copenhagen. Never disappoints.
Food is solid here..bakery is good , great pies

Always good food and good value. Service is good as well.
Food is always good. Great at lunch for a salad or sandwich. Dinner, pasta or evening special ,always fresh food.
