Copelands of New Orleans
Great food. The crawfish rice pilaf was a little under seasoned but other than that the food was good!
We celebrated a birthday with the Sunday brunch. The food was very good with a lot of variety.
Awesome food. Service and attention to detail appear to be lackluster on Sunday nights.
Excellent service the waiter new the menu in and out.
We have been coming to Copeland's for July 3rd Stars and Stripes celebration for 10 years. We are never disappointed with the service, the beverages and the food quality. The prices are reasonable and we recommend this restaurant if you are in Southlake Town Square.
45 anniversary dinner
Everything was perfect!
Food was mediocre and I would not call it cajun. Prices were high for the quality of food and the fish was "fishy". Music selection blasting in the restaurant was that of a middle school girl and very annoying during dinner.
Went here for Mother’s Day Brunch. I was a little underwhelmed due to the place being a bit unorganized and not prepared for the amount of customers on a special day. Additionally, the food was mediocre in selection, taste and quality.
Food was cold for the mother's day brunch. A number of items we not replenished on serving carts. We made reservations and still had to wait.
I think they either didn't plan well enough for Mothers Day Brunch or our waitress was not very responsive. Seemed like we constantly had to flag her down and I'm not one to require much but having to wait to get drinks filled and plates hauled away shouldn't happen for $40 a person
Second time they didn’t have our Open Table invitation
Our server Monya was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our meals and didn’t feel rushed at all.
I grew up in the New Orleans area where meals at Copeland's were a regular occurrence. Every few years I make the 45 minute drive to Southlake so that I can enjoy some of the classics. The Bayou Broccoli, Catfish Acadiana, and Red Hot Potatoes were all as delicious as I remembered. The hostess and server were extremely friendly and accommodating. I totally enjoyed the experience!
My wife’s birthday. Steaks tasted like they were frozen before cooked. Sides were cold. Very disappointed in overall food quality. Service was ok. Wife has a bell pepper allergy and server nor cook knew if bell pepper was in several of the dishes. We had a lot of other places to spend $120 at and regret going to Copeland’s.
It had been a while since we had eaten at Copelands of NO and it brought back very pleasant memories.
Crab Claws appetizer was GREAT!! Stuffed Catfish was really done well and my favorite there is the Shrimp Duckie, OUTSTANDING!!!!!! Still a little lacking in the Wine Department.
We had a great time with family! Great live music and great food!
My experience was excellent. The staff helped me with a surprise proposal to my future wife. The staff did a excellent job, even the valet was involved.Everything went perfect.Thank you Copelands Of Southlake for making this happen for us.
Chris and Jennifer Barton
Very good! Abe was excellent!
The only thing I can say is that Copland’s is a well kept secret. I’m in Southlake Town Square fairly often, but where it’s located I had never noticed it. Wow, great food, great service and all at a great price. My new favorite restaurant.
Abe was our waiter; he was excellent! Thanks making my birthday even mor memorable.
I have been to this restaurant 3 times. Food quality is a hit or miss. Last time I got a gumbo without any meat or shrimp with a day old rice. Service is a hit or miss too.
We had a large group and they set us up perfectly at a round table.
Our service was very good and she took great care of keeping our beverages refilled !!
Great overall experience! Loved the food! Highly recommended.
Food was below average. Service was slow. Should have gone somewhere else
We had reservations however the system wasn’t updated. They were still able to seat us immediately. The service was excellent.
Had reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. Appetizers were delicious and the drinks were so good and reasonably priced. Our server was very attentive and delivered our food as ordered. The food was good and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food...stuffed but ordered the cheesecakes... the best!!! This place is a welcoming change from the typical steak and potatoes places... I would highly recommend for the service and food!!!
We have to go ask for a server, once I did we got a nice gentleman that was not working our area. Service was slow. My steak was horrible. It was supposed to be a filet but looked like cheap meat. My daughter enjoyed her blacken chicken. For the money, we spent I was very disappointed. Not sure we will be returning anytime soon.
Our waitress seemed a bit uptight and stressed. Could have just been having a bad day but it was noticeable.
Excellent as always. We have dined there many times.
We were seated right away which was the best part of the night. The server was ok, he spoke softly and was hard to hear, wasn’t very attentive. I ordered the shrimp magnolia pasta and my husband had the ribeye steak. The shrimp still had the tail on and the sauce was bland. My husbands ribeye was cooked ok but had a lot of oil underneath made it hard to eat. We did like the mushroom appetizer. Would not go back.
Food is excellent and its my go-to for business lunches.
Service was great. Foods was on point. Drinks are strong and excellent
Ryan was amazing. She was very attentive and made my husbands birthday unforgettable.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service. Jambalaya Pasta was just right. And the kid’s Mac & Cheese was excellent also. And reasonably priced.
A delightful surprise. Quaint. Reasonable price. Not loud. Enjoyed an amazing meal!!
