Copacabana Brazilian Steak House - Niagara Falls
Back at your table our Gauchos or Carvers will service you with a feast of various CAB (Certified Angus) grilled meats prepared in a number of ways. Simply tell your carver how you prefer your meat, (most come medium rare) and leave the rest to us!
There is only one small task for you...As your Gaucho is Cutting at your table, use your provided tongs to simply grasp the top slab of meat and assist as he thinly slices a perfect cut of meat onto your plate, enjoy…and repeat as many times as you like!
Food was great but so noisy not everyone at the table could hear what the waitress or servers were saying. We even struggled to hear what was being said at our own table.
My only beef, pardon the pun, was the L tax they addon to your bill, only in NIAGRA Fools, they calls it luxury tax, I call it a LOOTING TAX.
I wish i could demand a LOOTING fee from the government to top up my pension. FOOLS we all are for paying it.
My boyfriend and I came here for our 4 year anniversary and the food is always delicious, the service was great, always checking in, Even the owner checked in on us, which was nice. The only negative thing I have to say is that we had to wait a while for the pineapple even when we requested it twice, but we get this every time we go, so we always expect to wait a bit for the pineapple. The price was fair because it is all you can eat MEAT, along with the buffet. But I wouldn’t make this my go-to restaurant, in my opinion this place is for “celebrations” only because of the price. My boyfriend and I are making it a tradition to go to Copacabana every year on our anniversary, see you next year!
Second time here with my girlfriend, and we put our occasion as a date and the host gave us more of an intimate area with a booth. Service was amazing, because I asked the manager for more bbq steak and instantly it came to me. My girlfriend was a very big fan of the parmesan steak, and I liked the cinnamon pineapple. Overall this was an amazing date, defintely will be back whenever we are in niagara.
This our second time going there. Great service:)
Loved it. The food was very good and the salad bar exceeded my expectations. My date was impressed. Service was not that great but maybe that’s because we got there half an hour before closing. We left full, happy and wanting to come back.
Our experience when we went here about 5 years ago was far superior
This time the whole experience was rushed like herding cattle. The servers were in such a hurry all the time. There was little or no interaction with us.. just pushed the meat on our plates and ran away. There were far more items on the salad bar the last time we were there. The Decor is worn and badly in need of a facelift. The seat cushions on our bench were so flat it made the table too high to comfortably eat from unless you are over 6’ tall. The food was tasty and decent quality. I would not go back to the Niagara Falls location again. There are far better options.
Food-wise: All the meats were salty. The beef steaks were mostly rare. Only ribeye steak was cooked more. Chicken was cooked fine. Waiter was able to get a medium-rare order of cheese-stuffed steak after requesting for something more medium or medium-well. Different selection for side-table foods than Woodbridge or Downtown Toronto locations. Would have preferred at least one hot pasta-based dish, and some finger food with dip like pita chips, nachos, smoked salmon, capers, etc. Variety of meats offered to table didn't feel like much. Lessen the salt and this would be higher than a 6/10.
Service-wise: Attentive service, especially for a long weekend. Never had empty water and meats came continuously. Would have preferred a 2nd offering of cornbread or cheese balls later in the meal, but I'd say a solid 9/10.
Value: For a holiday long weekend, charging less than 55 a person seemed quite reasonable. Good value if the food would have met expectations. Solid price point 9/10.
Environment: Windows were open on a rainy and cooler night. It helped with not having to sweat and created a nice breeze. However, music inside was very loud. Very difficult to speak to one another unless if I tried talking loudly the whole time. No dancing was performed between 7pm and 8:30pm but I am unsure if this is location-specific to the Woodbridge or Downtown Toronto locations. Ambience created was a 7/10, and could have been higher with volume adjustment.
Overall: Look into your rodizio temperatures and lower them a touch. You can offer a wider variety of meat done-ness by doing so. One piece we received was crusted/burned, and the inside of most meats was very rare if not blue in some cases. Also, live music is nice, but would prefer either continuous live music, or quieting of non-live music when live-music isn't being played so guests can talk. People come here for the food, everything else is second. Less salt and more meat done-ness and you'd get higher than a 6/10 experience.
It was first experience for us, but everything was wonderful. Food was great. Wish the music was not so loud. But otherwise the service and the meat carvers , were absolutely fabulous. Could not have been not nicer.
It was very nice only wish the people walking around with the meat cane more often
One waiter was not listening very well. He would ignore what we said as he served and did as he pleased.
We waited for a couple meat varieties which only came once. The fillet mignon and another Parmesan item. We waited and waited and weren’t served it again.
It was very very loud. The live music is great but should be background music. We were seated in the booths against the wall and it was still too loud.
Service was great! The beef options were the most delicious, and the guys cutting the meat at your table were great with portion sizes and asking if there were any specific flavours/ meats we wanted to try
Great experience overall, staff was great. Lots of follow ups on how we were doing and making sure we had everything we wanted. 2nd time here both times on vacation from NY. Would love one near Saratoga Springs area of NY
Be honest if compare with Brasa, it's better there.
Our server became unhappy to serve us, when I ask to change my vine bottle.
She was ignorant.
Guys running with meet around missing our table, all if us feel like wasn't enough meet to try. One of beef stuffed with cheese even doesn't come to our table.
We was felled full with cold table buffet.
Service was outstanding. Would have liked a little less beef and some pork or sausage options to give a little more variety. Overall very satisfied with the experience
Food was great, but at times, the meat was too salty. Buffet was very good. My daughter enjoyed the gluten-free options, but was disappointed there wasn't any gluten-free rice. Service was fantastic, especially, Marco! Enjoyed the live band. Overall, our group had a fantastic time!
Our waitress was outstanding! Great service by everyone. The band was amazing as well!
Food was phenomenal. They keep bringing more and more meat to your table. Favourites were the Garlic Sirloin, the cheese stuffed beef, and the pineapple. A really fun experience for those who have never been. Live band also played while we were there which was a huge bonus.
No salmon during week was disappointment. As we were told only serve on weekend
My wife and I have been to Copa before. The restaurant lived up to expectations and did not disappoint. The food was delicious as usual. The complimentary dessert (since it was our anniversary) was a very nice surprise!
It was a fantastic night over all!
Friendly staff, beef ribs were amazingly tasty and melt in your mouth, all the beef tasty as well, waitress was very pleasant, the manager came to all the tables and asked how everything was, pineapple is the best thank you, we’ll be back
Great dinner...my boyfriend got his for free as it was his birthday...made it even better!
This was our first time at a Brazilian Steakhouse. The food was simply amazing as well as the service. We loved the live music. I cannot day enough good about our experience.
We walked in and was seated immediately. The food and service was great.
Yes, but we felt the meat was too seasoned. The food at the buffet was excellent. We enjoyed the experience and service.
Nice and easy! Very food food and drinks. Perplesso attending very precisely within a nice atmosphere. Good choice. Highly suggested if you love good meat
Was charged for four people for the buffet/carving service, but our party was just an adult & 2 kids. Very long wait for check and no one came to pick up payment.
Put timer on and we waited 20 min for the check, with wallet out and dishes sitting on table. Had to leave cash in folder on table without getting change. Overcharged and overpaid for meal for 3, no beverages.
Disappointing experience since otherwise the carvers were doing a good job, and the live music was fun.
Family reunion from Portugal
It is a fun place when you are on the patio, you get to see the sights and people watch. I only wish I could eat more!
Delicious food... Nice place.. Myself & Family have to dine there whenever we visit the falls..!
Loved the service
Just really had a great time.
I was scared to ask for more cornbread but they gave us more than we asked for
The food and staff are absolutely amazing!! The live band was also good. We sat on the patio and had zero problems with bugs or too much sun!
My husband and I went for my Birthday. We loved our entire dinner stay. Service was great, food was delicious and they had an acoustic band playing The Hip, Tom Petty and others alike. Perfect Birthday out.
Thank you Copa
It was great, except we were swatting fruit flies from our wine all dinner and it became a big problem later in the dinner. Food and service was great and delicious and came regularly.
Sat on the patio. The food didn’t come around as often and felt like we were forgotten a little. Had to ask for certain meats to be brought to us. I think the food overall would have been better inside and kept hot. Don’t think I would go again. Definitely enjoyed Brasa more.
Great atmosphere, friendly service and most of all, fantastic food.
Every Brazilian steakhouse we've ever been is always great. Copacabana was an exceptional one because of the show in addition to the great food and service.
This was not our first time here but we were a bit disappointed this visit. We waited a long time for the servers to come with the meats and were only presented with 7 varieties, not the 16 as advertised. We asked for some different ones and were told they would be coming right out. That took asking 4 times before anything else came. In the end, a server came with 1 piece of chicken left on his skewer...there were 3 of us. We finally decided that we had waited enough, paid our bill and left. Not sure if we will return on our next visit to NF or not.
