Cooper's Mill
The menu also includes more basic sandwiches that feature artisanal and specialty ingredients.
Four flat breads are a signature feature of the menu -- fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce and fresh basil; BBQ Chicken, Red Onion, Manchego Cheese and Cilantro ; House Made Ricotta, Local Mozzarella and Caramelized Onions; Wild Mushroom Puree, Portobello Mushroom, Red Onion, Fontina, and Truffle Oil– all baked in the custom-made wood-fired oven.
Devoted staff and good food. The restaurant temperature was cold.
We have been there often. The food is very good, the service , too. Our waiter was Ruddy.
The apple cobbler was the only thing I did not care for very much, too sweet, too gooey.
We love the grilled octopus.
Good. Great server.
Horrible food and worse service. I would never eat there again.
s, but not for the breakfast buffet. Not much of a selection and should have someone watch over the line,,as people were using their hands ( and utensils available )
The staff was friendly and helpful. The food, however, was mediocre at best and cost twice what it should have. As a hotel lobby cafe, Coppers is passable without being exciting. As a stand alone restaurant it is disappointing on almost every level.
Don’t miss the grilled octopus. It’s the best in Westchester. The flatbreads are very good as well.
We found out about Coopers Mill from Groupon for our trip to NY. Overall I loved the ambiance, our service was great, and the kids meal side offerings were my favorite part. We ordered two entrees, the Scottish salmon and the power greens salad with flat iron steak. The salad was probably the best value and taste overall. The salmon was a little bland and I had to pick out several bones. The sides/bed of acorn squash and Swiss chard were part of my excitement, but could use a bit more seasoning. We ordered the ice cream sampler which was a pretty great way to end the meal. I thought it was a bit overpriced but all-around a solid experience.
Anniversary dinner
Food was very good. Steak was excellent. Ambience was nice. Noise level okay
You would not expect to find such a good restaurant in a hotel.
Excellent food. Guillermo was a wonderful server. We will return. The lamb ragout was wonderful
My wife and I went here because we had a voucher. We had no idea that this was a hotel restaurant, but I blame myself for not doing more extensive research. The restaurant was nice, very modern and open. The night we went, however, there was a class reunion going on which made the restaurant very loud. Everyone was out in the halls or in the restaurant bar talking at the top of their lungs, to the point where I could barely hear my wife talking to me from across the table. The food was good but quite expensive for the size of the meal. If we didn’t have the voucher we would have paid almost a hundred dollars for our meal minus the one drink I had and I still left hungry. I was also surprised at the lack of choices on the menu. There were six to eight total dinner options and maybe five appetizers. I think this might be a one and done option for us even though we came to the area on vacation. If I had to choose next time, I would go to Ruth’s Chris which is right next to it.
Both food and drinks were great. Prices were reasonable.
I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and visit many hotels within the franchise.
This was by far the least impressive restaurant.
Our food was cold when delivered.
We informed the waitress of same did nothing to address our concerns.
Very nice place to eat but a little too expensive for my taste. The food was very good the atmosphere was good. Drinks were a little bit too expensive
Always a good time when we come here!
We were staying in Tarrytown for a long weekend and decided to try Cooper's Mill based on OpenTable and travel site recommendations. Definitely worth it, the food was very good, and our waiter was lovely. The only complaint I had was that we stood by the hostess desk for 10 minutes before I walked over to the bar to inform the bartender that no one had been by and there were people waiting to be seated.
Mediocre food, HORRIFIC service. I think our waiter was working a 2nd job during our dinner service. I’m pretty sure our dinner plates are still on the table. They certainly were during the 20 minutes we waited for our check. If we hadn’t walked up to the front desk to pay after finally getting it we’d still be there too.
Always a delicious meal every time we go. Wait staff is very attentive.
Appetizers were excellent, salmon entree small and just ok.
Amazing staff snd good alsoamazing
Always interesting and tasty appetizers to choose from, great service. Ask for Dragin.
Great food and service!!
It was good - the apps like the mussels and the octopus used to be better.
They still deliver on their entrees and their burgers are great.
Pricey drinks though - be prepared for $14 glass of wine.
Food was OK, but a bit overpriced. Service was fabulous and the drinks were good, though again, a bit overpriced. We spent about $500 including tip for 5 people. Had a meal wit scallops that was tasty but small and had no side dishes, no bread at the table, no salad, nothing extra.
Great food and service. Very accommodating servers.
Good food. Delicious fish. Lots of Gluten free selections. And delicious homemade ice cream sampler. Worth the price . Worth the ride.
I always come here with my boyfriend. It is a great place and amazing food! The service is amazing and everyone is always nice.
Lively environment but tables enough away from bar. Good service, wide menu. Great for casual dinner with business colleagues or friends
Great food and great service. Varied menu! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
This restaurant overbooked and therefore my 12:45 reservation was unavailable. I was very disappointed and therefore had to eat at another restaurant in the area.
We always enjoy Coopers Mill..,My husband and I come here several times a year. Something was definitely off on this visit. They got almost everything my husband ordered wrong. Initially the brought out a different beer , then his entree was wrong as well. I had to eat my meal with him watching and vice versa. They don’t write the order down, perhaps they should change that. They apologized with an additional complimentary beer for my husband. I think something should have been offered to me as well , dessert perhaps. Anyway, we know this place well enough that we will be back but I couldn’t write this review as if it didn’t happen.
No items on menu matched my diet. I am gluten sensitive n lactose intolerant. No gluten free bread. Scallops were too chewy. Could not chew n not the tastiest I have ever had. Waitress brought crab cake to my room because I was in pain. She exemplified excellent service.
love the feel of this place , drinks were delicious! I definitely would return to try more dishes.
A disappointing Easter Brunch. It was essentially the standard hotel fare week day breakfast and they added a clearly frozen cooked to dry salmon dish and an over cooked rack of lamb which the man in the toque clearly had no idea how to cut as I watched him trying to saw through bones. How far the major hotel Easter Brunch has fallen. We waited 20 minutes for a server to appear, although he was pleasant and attentive from that point forward. No directions on where the food was. Never saw a vegetable anywhere in sight. On the good side, at$30 it wasn't grossly overpriced.
Many visits over the years. Not fancy, but the menu is fairly upscale, prompt service, good beer and wine selection, tasty bread and food, and very good value.
Great value and very good food. We will certainly return.
The food was perfectly prepared and very fresh. Two cocktails from the specialty cocktail menu were disappointing. I'll skip that next time.
Wonderful service. Nice presentation. Fish was so so. Veggies were excellent.
