Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Town & Country
Food was great, service was terrible. Came in to give the restaurant another shot our server was not very good. We didnt have plates after he brought bread and appetizers, we felt ignored most of the time he would disappear after we would ask for something would come back 15min later and we would have to ask for item again. Overall not satisfied
Service was a touch off. Took a long time to get 2 salads, and they were not busy. We have had better experiences here.
Our server was wonderful, very up beat. Food was very good. Not much ambience in small room off to the side of main dining room. We had lunch before noon on a Saturday
I imagine they wanted to fill that room first.
Extremely noisy. No way to have a conversion at our table without yelling.
We have my husband's best friend and his wife came to visit us from Florida and we took them to this restaurant because we have been here before many times. I specifically asked if we can have a quieter table and away from the rest room. We have the "away from the rest room" because the rest room is way away from the eating area, but even our waitress cannot place us anywhere quieter. This place is too noisy for a normal weekday dinner. It would have been OK if we were younger and still have our perfect hearing, but we all four of us are our late 70's, excluding our son who just turned 30 two months ago.
I wasn't given what I ordered and have been asked to change it to another one because the chef told our waitress that they run out of my pork order. I ordered the best steak in town. It was great. Would have been nice to have the pork as this is the third day I eat pork already.
We made a reservation through the Open Table app. It sent reminders to my phone and we also got notified when our table was ready. I called the restaurant earlier on the day of our reservation, and they confirmed. They had the table set with plenty of space, the service was the best we have had at Cooper's Hawk, and they brought my daughter a birthday surprise.
Overall bad experience! Table was not ready, salad was missing half of the stuff that was suppose to be in it, supervisor didn’t seem to care!
Great restaurant with good service, choices of food and wine
Server took are order never saw him again some else brought our food never got refills on drinks had to ask another server for are check
Rick is awesome!
Overpriced for the quality of food. Tried too hard to fancy
It was Mothers Day and it was crowded and our waiter made it seem easy. We had a great day.
The day was a super busy day, Mother’s Day, but you handled it with patience, courtesy and kindness. From the minute we entered the door, we felt welcomed. The food was delicious and my take home was just as good the next morning. Thank you for an enjoyable time. Our waitress we kept her moving but she was still smiling when we left. She was a blessing. The other workers even though they weren’t assigned to us were helpful when we had questions and answered them with a smile and patience.
I have already recommended Cooper’s Hawk to others. Thank you 🙏🏽 again for a memorable dining experience 🤗
My waitress was very polite, and attentive! She had recommendations and check on us with out hovering! The food was Hot!!, fresh and delicious!! Portion sizes were enough and the menu has plenty of options. While they were packed (it was Mother’s Day) it was not too loud, the service was top notch and there were not long wait times. We even sampled wine after dinner with very pleasant employees.
I still recommend this restaurant, because typically it’s a good experience. Mother’s Day is a challenge, so I plan to return. Service was extremely slow and my fish was undercooked. The Crusted Halibut is one of my favorites, but it’s expensive. My next visit I’ll return the safe Chicken Piccata.
Enjoyed Mother’s Day lunch with my daughters. Our food was awesome and mine gluten free. Love the time together in a festive atmosphere with great service during a busy time.
Great place for a Mother's Day lunch! The atmosphere was nice, the menu was diverse, and the food was excellent.
Our server was attentive however the kitchen was extremely slow in serving our 6 desserts. It seemed liked we waited 20 minutes when we would have just left if we had known it would take that long. I understand it was Mother's Day but I am sure you are busy at that time of day on each Sunday.
I go there once a month. The staff is awesome! Always friendly! The food and wine are AMAZING!! Highly recommend joining the wine club!!
This is a fine place with very good service and food. The ambience is nice and the prices are reasonable given the abundant servings. We'll return.
Food was excellent, service was good, we will be back
Amazing atmosphere and food . Of course the wine is great and so many choices !
The food was amazing. Our server was not very attentive to our needs and we are wine club members but could not understand why we could not get a bottle of the Barrel Reserve it came to our table in a carafe?? Not sure we got the whole bottle we paid for!
The waiter started out strong but faltered midway. After ordering appetizers and finishing them, he came back and asked if we had saved room for dessert- We had not placed an order for our entree. He seemed to have forgotten. The restaurant was not that crowded at the time and he did not have a full block of tables.
My wife had a good meal and the desserts were good. However my entree was fair. Ordered the fillet with blue cheese topping and wasabi potatoes
The blue cheese crust was not what I expected- I was expecting blue cheese on top of the fillet but what I was served was a parmesan crust and I could not taste any wasabi in the potatoes. When I asked for it to be corrected what came back was an over cooked fillet with the explanation that the blue cheese crust has parmesan in it to hold it together and the potatoes should have a dollop of wasabi on them.
A fair explanation but the taste of the blue cheese, which was very little in the crust, was not prevalent and still not what I was expecting as a blue cheese crust on a fillet.
The wasabi potatoes did come back with wasabi in them.
Overall a fair experience
Always great food and service. Tenderloin medallions and light version salmon dish were both delicious.
Great food, great wine. Outstanding service. We highly recommend Coopers Hawk.
Waiter T very good and added to the experience. Noise level way to high in dining room. Hard to hear people at our table for 4
We had a great lunch on Wednesday with my girlfriend for her birthday. The waitress was very nice and helpful. My girlfriend had your delicious citrus ginger salmon with angel hair pasta & asparagus and I had chicken mediera which were both very well prepared. Thanks for making her birthday a nice experience. It was her first time visit and I know she’ll be coming back.
Jim was our waiter tonight. He did a fabulous job checking in on us & making recommendations, yet not hovering. They have a large gluten free menu & gluten free bun instead of pretzel bread like others at the table get to eat. You can’t go wrong with the mushroom risotto. I barely eat mushrooms, but I can’t pass up the risotto!
We were seated outside and had a lovely meal. Service was great and the food was excellent. The flight of wine we sampled was good. Always an excellent place to take my mother and company.
The only problem I had was the lighting was so dark we couldnt even read the menus. I understand they was setting the mood but just a little brighter would have helped. Food and service was great would definitely go again.
I always enjoy the variety of cocktails and wines offered.
Cooper's Hawk is terrific. I can honestly say we have never experienced a bad or horrible meal or service. Jim Morgan (server) was better than good, great!! The new menu, what we ordered with egg rolls for appetizers were all excellent! The noise level makes it somewhat difficult to have a conversation, but eventually you adapt to it. Kudos to the chef and servers. The only challenge the seating hostess could have a better attitude in this business.
Cooper's Hawk strikes me as more a marketing concept than a restaurant. From the sleek decor to the menu to the server's patter, everything seems to have been focus-group tested. The resulting experience is strangely robotic and soulless. As for the food, it's perfectly acceptable-- and perfectly forgettable. But for the fact we had a gift card, I would not have made Cooper's Hawk my first choice, or even my ninth or tenth choice. With so many locally owned restaurants offering better food and warmer atmosphere, I can see no reason to choose a sterile chain destination like Cooper's Hawk.
My daughter graduated from college!!
Everything was great. Had a hard time understanding the waiter, partly because he had a high-pitched voice and partly because there seem to be only hard surfaces in the restaurant area which creates a high level of noise. Food was excellent.
A special thanks to Kirk from the Ashburn, VA Cooper’s Hawk for assisting with the Town & Country Cooper’s manager Smitty in accommodating our family group of 9. The food and wine were tops as is usually the case at Coopers. A special shout out to our server Eric. Eric was great in handling a group of 9 so efficiently. A great evening that we all appreciated. Thanks again.
