This was our first experience with Cooper’s Hawk and my god was it special. When you walk in, there is an entire lounge full of CH merchandise like beautiful wine glasses, coasters, decanters and such, and all along the walls there are wine bottles on top of wine bottles and people all the way around the room doing wine tastings. They have featured wines in the middle that you can buy and even specialty bottles you can preorder.
The actual restaurant was gorgeous, beautiful layout, wonderful wonderful server (“New Mike”). We got the red Zinfandel and holy frickin moly it was out of this world. No wonder they’re known for their wine. The food was just as extravagant and pretty dang good for the money. We signed up for the wine club and got our dinner wine bottle for free. Everything about this place is perfect.
So so so lovely, I would recommend you don’t go here because you will be addicted immediately.
We had the pistachio crusted grouper and Dana’s Parmesan Chicken. Both were excellent.
First time. Enjoyed the experience! Service was awesome. Will go back. Good price point.
We have been to Coopers Hawk multiple times in multiple locations and never been disappointed.
Great meal there for the 4 of us visiting Tampa from NC. Engaging atmosphere with the large tasting room and gift shop ( unique wine things). when you first walk in. Lots of wood and cozy feel wven tho rooms are large. Great bar area. Food was creative and good! We each got a red wine “flight” of 5 wines to taste from the Coopers Hawk vineyard.... each one excellent! Attentive service and an overall very fun evening with friends.
Everything was great as always
Chill vibe and great eats!
We are recurring customers but tonight the Mexican Drunken Shrimp did not taste fresh and there was less butter and guacamole than usual. Also, the bathroom area smelled bad and made the experience a little less pleasant. Service with Felicia was great and the Campanella Rústica was amazing!
This was y first dining experience at Cooper's Hawk. I had heard great things about the food and wine. I was not let down. The service was impeccable as well. I am already planning another visit.
As usual, our dining experience was memorable on all fronts: Food, service and of course the Coopershawk Wine!
had a great experience doing a wine tasting prior to our dinner. Servers were both wonderful and made the experience even more enjoyable. can be a bit crowded up at the bar when doing wine tastings and the noise/volume gets loud at times.
Our wine tasting was great! Our server was attentive and very good. Food was fantastic as usual.
I love Cooper's Hawk. The only two things we were disappointed in was that we made reservations and still had to wait 15 minutes after our reservation time. More importantly, it was incredibly loud Saturday night. I have been here other times where it wasn't so loud.
Food was excellent. However our appetizer and main course took along time.
Enjoyed it very much. It provided a nice gathering place for my friends to meet. The food was delicious.
The waiter told us the only wine tasting was up front (not at our table) despite seeing the tables around us with multiple glasses. Even if it were true, we were given no alternative or option.. he just stood there and looked at us. The food came out over cooked, seemingly as if it had set under the cooking lights too long.
After dining at Coopers Hawk in the past, I decided I definitely wanted to have my birthday dinner there with my friends. We went on a Thursday night, party of 4, reservation at 8.30pm. My understanding was the night was very busy, but by the time we sat down the restaurant was half empty. We got our waters and appetizers in a timely manner and they were great. But it took 30 mins to get our first wine samples and we didn't even get the bottle of wine we ordered until after our meal arrived. So disappointing, I love this restaurant for their wine and was so sad for my birthday we only had the opportunity and time to have one bottle for the table. There was about 8 staff members scurrying around cleaning the back room we were in, but no one attentive enough to actually serve the patrons still trying to eat their dinner. I was extremely disappointed in the service this go around after so many other great experiences. The saving grace was the food was phenomenal, I was glad the kitchen staff kept it together that night, but we still said something about the staff for the evening.
Love this place
Fantastic, food was excellent and our server was very nice and accommodating.
Excellent will return soon
I am a wine club member, and I've been to other Cooper's hawk locations for business meals, and Tampa was by far the worst because our meal took an hour to be delivered. Not a good experience.
Had reservations for 7:15pm, checked in at 7:08pm (all of us in attendance), was not seated until 7:30pm. Food came out very slow, server took initial drink orders and did not check back on additional drinks until meal was finished.
Food was delicious as always. Our salad was forgotten until the main course arrived so that was disappointing. Good value for great food.
Great food and our waitress took great care of us, even bringing out a special treat for us since my friend and I were celebrating getting together for the first time in 25 years.
The food was fresh, served hot and very appetizing with many options. I recommend the Brussel Sprouts Appetizer. It was delicious!
Our server was very friendly and attentive as were others. She made menu recommendations after asking what we liked and recognized our anniversary with a glass of champagne.
The ambiance was relaxing and the noise level low. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and neat with everything in place.
Awesome!! The short rib risotto was off the chain!!
Good and service were excellent. The only issue is that it was so loud in the dining area you couldn’t have a conversation with the people you were with unless you shouted.
I booked this reservation for my mother’s birthday. Upon arrival, I went up to the host stand + advised the two hostesses that I had a reservation but my parents were already seated. One hostess was polite, asked my name then advised the other hostess to find the table. The second hostess was not personable then began having a conversation with another employee that walked up instead of finding my table. The first hostess told me they would be with me in a minute. I stood there for several minutes until I approached again, interrupting their conversation to inquire about my table. She gave me an annoyed look then told another employee to find my table.
I felt like I was inconveniencing them.
Aside from that, I enjoyed my meal but I had to keep reminding my server that I was Vegan (he did not know what that meant).
I have yet to have a meal that wasn't outstanding. I highly recommend the Candied Bacon & Artisan Cheeses is a a shareable appetizer that is simply amazing with a perfect blending of flavors.
As usual we were not disappointed. Brought our niece here for the first time and she loved it. We come as often as we can. The food is excellent and there is something for everyone on the menu. The wine tasting is great. Service is impeccable.
Stopped by for a quick bite to eat, grabbed some wine and Dinner........Love this place....
Large portions. The calamari appetizer was enough for 4. Excellent food as usual. Smaller portions are available at dinner. Something for everyone.
Outstanding weather for outdoor dining. Good food, attentive service.
I went to Coopers Hawk with my wife and her cousin. We had multiple appetizers with a little wine. All the appetizers were as expected except for the calamari. It came out in one over battered , over fried hunk all stuck together. Ive eaten the calamari many times so I know it was not as it should be. I have been a member for several years but it was my first time at the Tampa location. Other than that no problems. Our waitress was great. The person who took are of our wine tasting after dinner was great. Rick. G
Always a fun evening - from the wine tasting thru dinner.
Never have had a bad experience there. Join the Wine Club - it is well worth it.
Our family celebrated a birthday dinner here. We enjoyed the “choose your own” flights of wine, several appetizers, and 4 amazing entrees. The waitress was fantastic and our booth was huge. Really enjoyed every aspect of the meal. Will definitely be back!
Everything was amazing. We got there and say right down. I couldn’t have asked for a better time
Service at lunch was too busy
Atmosphere felt manufactured
Excellent food, though they were out of a few things, a selected wine for dinner, gluten free bread, and key lime pie. Everything delivered, though, was fantastic. Disappointed with attention to my party during wine tasting, minimal guidance offered on tastings and had to flag servers to get next taste. Service during dinner was excellent. Wonder if reservations for tastings could be offered....
