Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Oak Lawn
I LOVE THE TURKEY BURGERS AND THE FRIES AND ALSO THE WINE
I WILL BE HAPPY WHEN THE NEW ONE OPENS IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA
Food was good, just don’t like that they have revised the menu. One of my favorites is no longer available.
Ordered gluten free yet had to pick gluten off top of filet. Took 20 minutes to get dessert.
This was my favorite Coopers Hawk restaurant. However, this time coming here was pretty rough. Although our waitress was very pleasant, the service was very slow. It took at least 20-25 minutes from when we ordered our drinks until they finally came to us. Lastly, a gentlemen, I don't know if he was the manager or not, came to our table to tell us that our food was dropped and it would have to be remade. We said fine, I understand things do happen and I was working on my martini at the time. He offered free soup which I accepted. However, after our food came, we heard another crash in the kitchen and it sounded like plates and glasses were broken. Coopers Hawk is one of my favorite restaurants. However, I'm not sure I'll be going to this one again.
Poor service. Waitress forgot our appetizer. Then tried to take our food away twice. Never asked if we were done. Then messed up the bill at the end of the evening. Ended up overpaying and the manager on duty couldn’t reverse the charges until the next day. Good food but the service at the Oak Lawn location is getting worse.
Celebrating my Birthday!! We had a great meal and a wonderful time.
Our server Louie was great and went out of his way to make our dining experiences enjoyable.
The staff and food were excellent we were there to celebrate my sons birthday the server was wonderful very attentive to our party and the food was delicious will be back again
In all honesty the restaurant was not very clean. I have regularly been to the orland location and it’s soooooo much cleaner. The restroom was dirty, the floors dirty, the seat, table just sticky and gross. Very disappointing for that price
No problem with our reservation at 9:30. Once seated the waitress came by. We ordered wine samples.and it took about 15 minutes to get them. We ordered our food and it came late and on top of that my food was cold. They had to remake it. Everyone in my party ate their food and I was still waiting for mine. Waitress was all over the place. I love CH. Hopefully next time I don't get her as a waitress
Great service and food. Pricey but less than dining downtown. They do a great job at rewarding club members with points towards appetizers and discounts. Great value on wine membership the wines are fantastic! And make excellent holiday gifts!
Get together with family
Date night with the hubby for some wine and light eats. Server suggested a Sparkling Wine..Scarletto, 🤩I'm in Love. Had crispy fish and cilantro ranch chicken sandwich with the Asian Cole slaw. Everything was hot and very tasty. 👍💯💕
Our waitress was so nice and I must say she made our experience the best. We are wings club members and we go to various location and this location she most definitely have us coming back.
This particular restaurant is not very refined. Our server was inattentive.
Our server was great and managed our table of 9 with skill. The food was delicious and we had a great time!
It took a while for us to get our items from the server...not sure if it was her or the kitchen. My friend got her entree before I did and
Was almost finished by the time I received mine. My food was warm when I received it so I wasn’t thrilled but I ate it to avoid any additional wait time.
I had a worker server named Tre that was great
My girlfriends and I ate at the Oak Lawn Cooper’s Hawk. Our waiter, Eamon, was excellent. Even though he was super busy, he made the time to make us feel welcome and didn’t rush us.
It’s always a great lunch. Ours server was a super addition to our service.
I love this place. It nice fancy spot on a budget.
Ordered chicken piccata. The dish was extremely salty. Advised the waitress she said it was because of the capers.
Overall I don’t believe we will be return customers. We we not impressed. The new Barrel Club located in the same shopping complex was a much better experience.
The food was good and our server, Crystal, was very attentive and friendly. We tasted a couple wines, including John Legend's LVE, that were great. So even though it was dreary with rain and lightning outside, we had a very enjoyable evening.
The food was amazing. We had the drunken mexican shrimp and calamari as appetizers. The drinks, Remy Martin VSOP Sangria, was perfect. The ambiance was spot on, exactly what you’d expect at any CH during the evening hours the service was a tad slow in in the beginning when the restaurant wasn’t crowded but slowed a bit more when people started arriving. The parking is a nightmare since CH shares the lot with everything else in the strip mall. I think the o my thing missing was some music to complete the ambiance. Lastly, the water fountain out front was beautiful, but it was raining so that hampered the view.
It would be great if they had a happy hour!
Service was amazing and the food was delicious. The wine is wonderful and the atmosphere was festive.
It was a little cold in the dinning room - but the OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT!!!
Food is consistently good. Its important to be able to count on that. Service is not as it used to be. Wine good.
19th year weeding Anniversary
Napa Chicken Salad was great. The service was excellent.
Verdell the waiter did an amazing job with our large party.
Very crowded and loud in the tasting area. It was hard to get to the reservation desk.
We did September’s Chef Recommendation with the wine of the month. Service and food were great!
I enjoy it every time I go. My fave is the nightjar sangria!!!!
We like going to this Cooper’s Hawk, because it’s so close to home. We were disappointed to have to wait over 30 minutes past our reservation time. Unfortunately, there was a long hair in my food which the waiter replaced quickly, but I lost my appetite. The manager onsite was very polite and offered us two bottles of wine for the inconvenience.
All around awesome.
I am a regular at Cooper Hawks and eat there at least once a month. On 9/19 I was very disappointed for the first time. The waitress named Iris was very slow to bring the drinks and food. She seemed to disappear for a long time and could not seem to multi-task. It was a Thursday night and the chef on duty did not do a good job on the calamari. To much breading versus the fish. That was the first time it was a big disappointment. We had the surf and turf, braised short ribs and a pasta dish. The best part of the meal was the pasta dish. The chef was a miss that night. In the past the food has always been above average but something changed. It took way too long to get the food and the place was not crowded at 6pm. The bartender even helped our waitress bring the drinks because all she brought was one instead of 3. I am going to take a break from Cooper Hawks for a couple of months. I will return but I will not go on a Thursday again.
Our waiter was inattentive and not mindful of the order or request, I’m disappointed because there’s a standard that I’m used to with this establishment.
I put in my notes that this was a business lunch that was going to be tight with time. It took 15 minutes for a server to great us. 40 minutes after sitting down, lunch arrived. I had to stand up and act like I was leaving to receive the servers attention to get the check. This location has terrible service.
