Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Naples
Wonderful friends celebrating birthdays were honored with CH delicious truffles! Their first visit, will not be their last! Great service and of course, great food and wine!
Very good food and service. Wine club is a good opportunity to save some dollars
Outstanding service and food quality. Knowledge servers at wine tasting and in dining room.
Upon entering the restaurant (noon), I could not help but notice the doors were filthy and filled with fingerprints. The rug was also dirty and needed to be vacuumed. This situation did not change when I left at 1:10pm. Since the restaurant just opened, it was highly unlikely that this mess just happened. It wasn't taken care of the night before, and no one bothered to do it upon opening.
I sat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine. I took some time ordering because I could not make up my mind. I closed my menu and was ready to order. I had to get the attention of one of the 2 male bartenders. While waiting for my meal, a couple sat next to me. The bartender immediately handed them "the specials"...something that I was not given. Oversight? Hardly. Then another couple sat next to me on the other side. Again...they were given "the specials". I was never asked if I wanted bread, another glass of wine, or asked about my meal. I was a server for over 30 years so I know the assumption when waiting on a single female. This never changed how I treated them. Unfortunately, these 2 male servers still have that preconceived notion. So I gave them 10% tip and wrote:"Since you waited on me assuming you were going to get a bad tip, I didn't want to disappoint you."
I’m a member and I dine here regularly, and purchase wine for my home table frequently. The ambiance is great. Wine tastings are fun. Food is pretty good, and the appetizers are outstanding! The only negative thing is that some of the hostesses are extremely rude, and lack customer service skills. On our last visit we had an unexpected three people come in from out of town surprising me for my birthdqy. I called the restaurant 4 hours ahead of our scheduled reservation for 6 ppl. Asking if we could modify to add 3 more. She was rude and said they were very booked and could not accommodate us as there were no tables available until 10:15 pm. I even let her know we could split our party up if need be. She said no. Nothing. So my sister jumps on open table at that moment and books a table for 4 at the same time as my reservation. So I guess the hostess is difficult and really hates people. My mom called the manager immediately and explained the situation and all that happened. He was more than happy to accommodate us. However when I checked in at our reservation time. The aforementioned hostess overheard the other hostess checking us in and threw her pen at her desk and looked the other way, and you could feel her anger and attitude. We proceeded to wait an additional 25 minutes for our table because as the other hostess explained they were waiting for a table to be set up. After 25 minutes my husband was understandably annoyed and asked about our table. We were told it was ready and were seated right away, but if he hadn’t asked, we wondered how much longer that witch would’ve left us waiting. Apparently whoever hired her was fooled as she does not have the social skills to be a great hostess.
Great Wine. Amazing Food. Friendly servers. Everything that keeps us coming back!
Terrific food, service and ambiance. The only minor complaint I would have is the noise level. A little difficult to have conversation.
Enjoyed the activity in the restaurant. Vibrant and fun. Food was hot delicious and great portions
This is the fourth time I have had lunch there and there will not be a fifth. Food has been disappointing each time to say the least. Service is "just enough work to get by" kind of service. Would never recommend to anyone.
Service was confusing - about 6 people brought different things to the table. Bread was literally frozen in the middle. My surf and turf looked disgusting. Presentation was terrible. Veggies were burned looking, fillet was tough, fish was drowning in butter. Just gross. I sent it back and lost my appetite completely. I would never go back.
We enjoy going to this restaurant. The food is always good but the noise level makes it tough to have conversations. The service is pretty good Would recommend it to others
very good and interesting menu food was excellent loved their wine concept always a little noisy but still enjoyable we plan to come back at least monthly
Thanks to the open table app we were able to be seated within 20 minutes versus the 90 minute wait.
Sampling different wines was complimentary and for an $8 upcharge you can sample even more.
The food is made from scratch and they advise upon ordering that can take a little longer. It wasn’t really a wait and the food was wonderful.
We were a party of six, celebrating a birthday, an anniversary and a farewell to one of the couples. We were seated at 3:20, well before the big dinner rush. It took quite some time to receive our complete order of cocktails. Then, after 40 minutes, I had to ask the hostess where our server was as we hadn’t even ordered appetizers yet. Finally he returned. Five of the six meals were delicious however the extras that were requested either didn’t get served or were served after the meal was completed. Such as; salad dressing on the side, extra sauce for the rigatoni and fresh hot fries as the first ones were served cold and limp (with a hockey puck hamburger) The deserts were lovely and enjoyed by all.
At least our service was good this time, last time horrible. We were really disappointed in the brussel sprouts, all leaves, maybe 2 whole. We mentioned this to the bar tender, she just shrugged her shoulders also to our waitress, nothing. I don't know if we will order these again. I might mention that when our service was bad last visit, the manager was very cooperative.
Food was excellent -- fresh, creative, well seasoned, beautiful to look at. Service was not good -- transition from high season to low season challenges? Appetizers were ordered but main food arrived and apps had not, so they got cancelled. Portions were so generous that actually we didn't mind so much, and manager came by to apologize. We have been here before and wanted to give our out-of-state first-time visitors a great dining experience. They were very impressed by the food, and we could overlook the gaps in service. We'll still come back tho, for sure.
The food has always been very good on all of our visits, and we have been dining at Cooper's Hawk for 4 years on a monthly basis. The menu stays pretty munch the same, so you can find your favorites, but is also tweaked to let you try something new. With their lunch, happy hour and dinner pricing, the selections are reasonably priced.
We like their wine selection, especially the reds. Try it as it's worth the trip.
Great food and service. Love your jrnu
was surprised at the food as this is a winery but meal was delicious.
We have been to Coopers Hawk in Naples many times. This is the first time I would give a "fair" review. The service was less than expected. We arrived on time and checked in at the reception desk - the young man was terribly distracted and it took at least 5 minutes for him to select a table and to track down staff to seat us. It was very crowded as we expected but the waitress didn't greet us for another 8-10 minutes. When the food was delivered to the table some was overcooked and some was the incorrect dinner. Not wanting to complain the person kept the wrong dinner so the rest of the table wouldn't have to wait for his order to be corrected and prepared. One hour after leaving the restaurant, Open Table sent me an email asking why I had not kept my reservation! All in all a bad experience.
Very loud music speakers not located correctly, all you could hear is the thumping sound of the base. Too many hard surfaces for sound to echo off of.
Beware the crab and lobster bisque...I would describe more as shrimp gumbo. No lobster to be found and lots of little shrimp in it. Still good but just odd to be titled as it was.
You need a location in Lely! Naples Fl! 😘
Food and wine is great. A little loud, at times. Overall, always a great experience!
Had a great experience food and service was excellent
Food was wonderful ! Celebrating a birthday ! Our wait for our food was a bit longer then we had previously experienced . Our waitress was not as personable as we have had previously. But over all it continues to be one of our favorites
Not sure I’d recommend any longer. The past several times it’s been inconsistent either food or service.
We are members and frequent often,
Our food reversed and the entrees came before the salad. They immediately brought them back to the kitchen but we asked they not be reheated but made fresh as it was short ribs risotto which would dry out.
When the entrees were served the portions were so small. Risotto with very meager amount of short ribs and more bread than beef in the prime rib sandwich. And we order these often. Very disappointing. We hesitated sending them back a third time and by the time the server came to check it was too late.
The value did not reflect the meals. Too bad, we generally like CH.
I wish I could remedy our servers name, She was helpful and very friendly. Very enjoyable evening.
Everyone always on board to dine at Cooper’s Hawk! Server was especially attentive and pleasant!
Lunch with a group of ladies and everyone enjoyed their orders. The salad portions were large and the pretzel bread was very good. Our server Melissa Anne was delightful and very attentive. I look forward to returning to try their dinner entrees.
Always has a smell of dirty restaurant. Like mop was never changed.
Amazing! Would definitely go again!
Great food, varied menu, interesting wines and experience.
Great wine and appetizers. Very noisy
Food and drinks were very good. They have an excellent happy hour and service was good
In our opinion, this is the best Happy Hour in town. As we grow older, we are less likely to eat full meals at dinner time and this fits the bill to a T !!! Keep up the good work!
Good Happy Hour menu and portions are big enough to serve as dinners. Great value!
Our waitress needed to be reminded several times to refill drinks and bring us the pretzel bread. One time we had to ask someone else to get our server. Also had to ask her for the happy hour menu. Not a good waitress.
A group of six. Great food choices..something for everyone. The wine is good and reasonably priced. Our only complaint was that our server spent way too long pushing "The Wine Club" particularly when we showed no interest in becoming members.
Excellent food and service but was very noisy. The servers are extemely nice and well trained.
