Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Naperville
Always an enjoyable experience. Food options and the way they are prepared makes for a memorable time and keeps us coming back.
Waitress could have been a little friendlier. We didn't feel very welcome.
Great food. Lunch is a good value. Excellent service with a pleasing atmospher
The wine tasting was disappointing because that location only allows 7 taste samples while all the other locations allow 8, plus we we’re not able to swap out any we didn’t like for something not listed. Also the soup spoon had a very jagged edge (maybe damaged from the dish washer) which wounded up kinda cutting my daughter’s lip the manager came over and took her name but that was it. So I’ve had much better experiences at Cooper’s Hawk than this one.
My favorite restaurant
Waiter was obviously new and needed much more training. My meal came out wrong. They remedied it, but I had a long wait without wine. The entire meal took 3 1/2 hours. Normally we are major Cooper’s Hawk fans. This was incredibly disappointing.
Food was very good and the service was excellent. It was not our first visit nor will it be our last.
We a absolutely love Cooper's Hawk. Their food is delicious and the service is always great. I don't drink that much and I would definitely recommend this place even if you're not a wine drinker.
Great food as always. Lots of different options on an always changing menu!
Food is consistently good. Had a nice table and good service. The waitress checked in often & anticipated our needs for drink refills & bread!
One of my favorite places to eat!
I am a member of the wine club and enjoy coming here for dinner or lunch. We always have good food and good service. The wine is my favorite part of the meal!
Great wine and food. We are wine club members and it’s great to have a bottle of good wine with dinner and not pay $50 plus.
The food is always good there, but my lobster bisque was cold when we received it around 11:45 a.m.
Great food, nice classy atmosphere, somewhat pricey but well worth it. I almost went back the next day for the skirt steak again, good wine too
Great food, as always. Service was a little slow, but we really didn’t mind.
We had a nice time enjoyed the food.
Bday coupon appreciated as well as complimentary dessert. Four of us who were dining together ordered different meals, and each entree was exceptional as was the "wine of the month"!!
The server, Katie, made excellent suggestions, and was very personable and gracious.
Once again, we all had fun, enjoyed everything, and look forward to another outstanding experience very soon! 👏😄
As always, a fabulous experience! 5 stars!
Food is always fantastic, the roasted vegetables some little bit fibrous and not edible. Service was just average this evening with servers not following up on anything we need.
I appreciate the varied menu at Cooper’s Hawk. Food has always been fresh and tasty. Acoustics bothered me on this latest visit - it was difficult to carry on a conversation due to noise level
Our Server was friendly but was not on top of his game. we had to ask him to fill our wine glasses when they were empty; he did not take away plates even when one of the meals was "rejected". i do not like to complain and he was so nice - please offer more training so he can become the good server he is capable of becoming. The manager took care of the issue with the meal, so that was not a problem.
The server was quite accommodating in making recommendations recommending using a credit versus taking a double points option, so he definitely was working for the customer. He may have just had an "off" night.
Ron our Waiter was outstanding! We enjoyed our dinner and wine
Super great special Sonoma Chicken sandwich. What a marriage of flavors.
Excellent Ceasar salad!
Waitestaff Ron was great!
The service was awesome & food was okay.
Come for the wine! Enjoy the food. Lunch crowd worked well at this location. Dinner can be very crowded. Arrive early and taste wine.
Food could have been better prepared
Not as good as usual
My mother lives in Florida and always wants to visit here when she is in town. Our meal was very good although the server forgot to bring my mother's boxed leftovers.
We kept adding and adding to the size of our group. From 8 to 14. The staff was gracious and accommodating.
CH is always very loud - too many hard surfaces and nothing to absorb sound. The food is really good, so we tolerate the noise
Our table was finally read 40mins after our reservation time. When we first sat our waitress was very attentive, but quickly became distracted. It took three attempted for our party of five to place drink orders with how distracted she was. No one was asked about our memberships, and we had to ask her to please go back and run our card before checking us out to collect our rewards. She was very kind, just stretched wayyyy to thin.
We made reservations and we're completely fine with having to wait beyond the reservation time on a Friday. My issue was the seating area was overcrowded. It felt like the tables were on top of each other and it was so loud from the mass of humanity in the room it was hard to have a conversation. I would have been fine with waiting longer to have more space to enjoy ourselves. The food came out way too fast and we ended up with courses overlapping. The food and wine were still fantastic and our server was very nice but I think she had too many tables.
Had a great time with the family. Food was delicious as always. Love the variety of Cooper Hawk wines available to sample!
I had the Leonard Burger without a bun and a side of broccoli. It was prepared perfectly! They accommodate most diets with ease! ❤️
Disappointing. Place is crowded and noisy. Service was just OK. Food was disappointing. Fish was not hot. All food was drowned in butter. I had high expectations but was let down. My companion had pork chop. Average at best.
Actually I have had similar experience here. Not sure why I came back.
Quality of food was not as good as all of the times before. Preparation was off. Wine flight and post meal sparkling did not meet the taste test in comparison of all the wines I have purchased here over the years.
Was a little disappointed with my meal/experience. For an appetizer ordered the Thai chicken lettuce wraps. I thought the serving size for the chicken was small. Great sauces though. For the entree ordered the churrasco skirt steak. It was cooked correctly to my liking, medium. The steak was on the bland size in terms of taste. Ordered the Betty’s potatoes, they came out warm, not hot. Didn’t seem fresh but rather reheated.
Dessert was a real disappointment. First I ordered a cafe latte but I think they forgot the “cafe” part. It was all milk. The server even apologized saying “sorry if the latte is bad, it’s my first time making one.” Ummm...wth...
The dessert ordered was the caramel banana bread sundae. Very dry bread. Here is my description of it. A slice of room temperature banana bread from Jewel. A scoop of vanilla Hagendaz ice cream. A full banana sliced in half grilled with marks and all with a candided-sugar topping. It didn’t go at all. That deserves a big zero!
For being an above average restaurant it performed as a below average restaurant.
Our friend annual get together for Christmas.
Great service! All of our meals were hot and delicious. The noise level is fine when seated in the smaller dining rooms.
Always delicious and the ambiance is beautiful...I drive 45 minutes to enjoy!
