Terrific dinner experience with my wife. Ambiance was nice and food was amazing. Enjoyed a variety of wines which is must. Highly recommend!
Great service and good food. Also some great wlviews of the plaza.
Excellent service, excellent food, excellent location, beautiful interior
Went to Cooper’s Hawk for my boyfriends 21st birthday. Very classy and nice restaurant with plenty of beverages for him to try. Was explained to in detail about their wine which was also very cool. Food was very good, especially the bruschetta for the appetizer. Service was above average, with a very personable waiting staff. Would come back for sure!!
A member of my party was vegan and the staff did everything in their power to accommodate his needs. Furthermore, the food was excellent!
Love Coopers Hawk!! Delicious food and excellent service!
Fiancé and I always do our date nights here. Great atmosphere, staff is amazing and extremely friendly / knowledgeable. Food and wine is fantastic as always! We will always come back.
Everything about our meal was amazing. We had some Brussels sprouts that were amazing, as was the bisque. I had a salad and my wife had braised short ribs which were both excellent. For dessert, the waiter suggested the chef special. It was a lemon pound cake with whipped cream and fruit. It should be a permanent fixture, as it was one of the best desserts I’ve had. And I’m a dessert guy.
Our waiter was training, but he was excellent and had obviously done this before. His suggestions were spot on.
I’ll be back soon.
Food wasn’t that good. Shrimp was over cooked scallops were to chewy. My risotto was hard and undercooked. I did enjoy my wine.
Very good service and the sangrias were very good.
I always enjoy my experience at Cooper's Hawk. The Brussel sprout appetizer is delicious, the short rib grill cheese sandwich is good. The wine tasting was amazing as usual.
Beautiful setting!! Great food!! Wonderful wine!! Delightful evening. 🤗
Great staff, and great wine, from the unoaked chardonnay to the biggest cab reserve.
Brandon took very good care of us. Food was excellent, as always. Pretzel bread is sooo good & served warm.😄 Salmon w/ginger sauce was cooked perfectly. Hubby loves the jambalaya and the Asian slaw is very good. Cooper’s Hawk red blend is also a favorite.
We enjoyed our lunch date, we thought the wine flight was a neat idea, but really only liked two of the wines. We ordered the southwest egg rolls and they were good and we shared the prime sandwich which we both really enjoyed.
What a wonderful anniversary celebration. And such an awesome treat to have so many gluten free food choices!
We had a server named Jaycee she was great. I enjoyed myself as always
Loved the wide variety of menu items and drinks. Perfect place to grab lunch or dinner. We went their after a volleyball tournament with the team and had a great time. It’s also good for more adult type dining with couples etc.
My friends and I had an excellent time together. Our waiter was kind and patient throughout our meal.
I love dining at Cooper's Hawk Winery. The servers are all well trained and knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections, and their service always is professional.
Good variety of food options and the customized flights are an easy way to taste what they have to offer.
Amazing food and wine! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Atmosphere is beautiful and clean.
Always delicious!! One of my favorite restaurants in KC!!
Excellent food and service. Ambience is most pleasant.
Great lunch specials and service. Always nice to have a quiet lunch.
Very enjoyable, comfortable and food was great. Wide variety of items on the menu.
First non-fast food dining experience in 15 months, and chose a spot for my wife's birthday that we'd been to pre-pandemic. There was also a favorite dish on the menu that she was craving - the ahi tuna. Here's our experience, one that I think we will all have to adjust to. First, the server (very pleasant and personable) was new, and it was obvious early that she was not going to be able to answer some questions. Given the challenge this industry has experienced, it's something we probably should be prepared for. We pushed through questions we might have had and simply proceeded. We were told at the outset that a 2 hr clock started as soon as we were seated. Generally more than enough time, but something new. I get it; with less seating (distancing), they needed to turn tables to make their margin. Again, this is not going to be the last time I hear this. The food was very, very good, though it seemed there were some changes to the portions and the characteristics of some components of the ahi dish. The server didn't have enough experience to answer the inquiry, and perhaps it's part of the need to make up for the financial hit they've taken. Overall, a good experience and we'll be back. Oh yeah, all staff had masks on the entire time, even as the world is relaxing this mandate. Good for them.
Bar seating was wonderful, bartender was very attentive and informative. We had a great flight of “bubbles”, some killer appietizers and cream brûlée for dessert. Fun get together with my cousin. Will be back again.
We were greeted with the hostess telling us we had a 2 hour limit to be at our table. then it took 20-25 minutes for waiter to even take our drink order. steak was overcooked. waiter never came back. all of us had empty glasses. we have always liked cooper’s hawk but too many other good places in kc to waste our time here. don’t care about the wine
As a long time patron, I found that due to Covid, things are a little different .... but the quality is still there.
Wonderful food and wine. Service was excellent. The cost of the food and wine very reasonable.
Our waitress made our meal super enjoyable! Very efficient and friendly
My partner got the filet mignon and he was disappointed with the quality. He had asked for medium rare, and this steak was still purple and cold on the inside. His asparagus and broccoli aren’t much either. No sign of any seasoning at all. The presentation was not pleasant, just a luck if meat and 2 bland looking sets of green sticks. He isn’t one to send food back, so he just dealt with it.
I had the steak and blue cheese salad. I enjoyed my meal, and had zero issues.
I’m assuming because we had a late reservation we got the tail end of everything. We were given one small loaf of bread at the beginning before our appetizer, and that was it. My partner asked for another loaf about half way through our main course snd we were told the kitchen was closed and all the bread was gone. Slightly disappointing, but we were understanding.
I have dined here before and have always had excellent service and food, this time was just such a let down. I will make sure to make reservations earlier in the day next time if we choose to come back.
