Good quality consistent dining options in Orlando is always difficult but this year It was even more challenging as we were dining with a friend with Celiac. Coopers Hawk had an extensive gluten free menu with lots of tasty options that went well beyond salad and steak from appetizers through dessert and beverages. Our meals were tasty, a little heavy on the salt, and the NY strip delicious. But star of the show hands down was the excellent service from our server Jeff.
Met some friends for dinner. Food was delicious and would have been 5 stars but my side potatoes were cold. Everyone else had zero complaints on food. Server was less than attentive but we didn’t need for anything so that was okay. Flights are super great. Overall it was a very nice evening.
Awesome Place. Will return soon really enjoyed it
We go each month and have the wine club membership. It’s worth it every time!
Wonderful dining experience. Pre-dining win tasting followed by excellent food.
Service was outstanding as always.
My favorite place to eat and enjoy with friends and family!
Only saw our server twice, my only complaint is my water didn’t get refilled other than that love this place, food is great, house Cabernet sucks. It was our anniversary and the server didn’t really care. Sucks
All in all, a good evening. We frequently CH regularly. The food did arrive a bit less than warm but we opted to not return it.
Always great wine and food! We are part of the wine club.
Wonderful server. Food was very good. Sad to see how few people were out. Media fear mongering working well.
We traveled from New England and hope Cooper's Hawk Nest decides to expand to our region. The ability to pair wine with food is special. We will always look for one of their locations when we travel.
We had family in town and they loved it!
If you enjoy trying wonderful wines with a perfect ambiance Coopers Hawk is the place to be. I enjoyed the Chef's special with the wine of the month happening to be the Orange Muscat. Let's just say I am not a white wine person but this wine was simply divine. If they had one of these in Texas I would join their wine of the month club just to indulge. The food was good as well but the wine makes it taste even better. Took my grown children to dinner hear and let's just say every time I am in a state that has one I will go back.
We went on a Friday around 5PM. The place was packed as it usually is but we managed a seat in the bar. We have been to many different Coopers Hawk locations many different time. The food and service are always great no matter what time we go. But this time it took a while for us to get waited on. We ordered some appetizers but they never came. When we asked out server he said it was his fault and would comp out food. The food was very good as usual. When we got our bill, he failed to comp the appetizers as he said, and did not charge the happy hour price for the wine. Then when he came back with the next bill it was only partially correct. At that point I did not want to wait any more so I just paid it. We have been members for eight years so we know what to expect. While the food and drink were great, this location looks like it has some improvements to do with respect to service.
We really enjoyed our experience, would definitely go back. It was extremely loud and noisy, hard to have good conversation.
Matt was amazing as always. He is so genuine and sincere in his engagements
Enjoyed delicious food and wine!
Great date night!
Excellent!!! Nice place to enjoy wine and a good dinner. Make reservation ahead of time ya always recommended.
Amazing birthday dinner work my family!!! The server was awesome and I love coming here!!
Was a very pleasant evening other than one of the guests had a piece of plastic in his entree.
Menu very extensive, maybe even overwhelming. Average value for food, wine and beer above average price. Food was very tasty.
We went to coopers hawk for our anniversary and we LOVED it! It is a very clean, unique atmosphere with well educated staff. Our server was very informative on all of the wines and menu items and even gave us some samples to try before we decided on a wine. The food was all phenomenal! I especially loved the marys potatoes! Would definitely reccomend this restaurant for a date night or special occasion.
Food was good. Our server Juliana was excellent. She made our night!
A really great get away spot! The food was very tasty and the wine is WOW!
Wine and food as always superb. The only negative noise level a bit loud
The waitress (Julianna) was great. Food was okay. I had to return my first plate. The second was better.
Overall our experience was great. Our waitress had too many tables and there was a longer delay with our main dishes, however she was doing her best and sweet to check in on us.
Overall a good experience. My meal: vary average cup of French onion. Barely any cheese and two little croutons floating underneath. Cheese didn’t even cover the top of the cup. Overly sweet tase. Chicken Caesar salad as a main meal. Soft lettuce and bland tasting. Excellent server. Will not return.
I have been to Coopers Hawk in Jacksonville and Jupiter and this restaurant in Orlando was very disappointing. My wife and I did not even get to ordering our food before we decided to walk out of the place. The table we were seated at by the host was disgusting. Table top was dirty and moist. The seats had food bits and grease on them. At a time in our country when everyone is freaking out about spreading flu germs, you would think that some priority would be given to a semblance of a clean establishment. The item that really sent us out the door was when I could not open the pages to the menu because they were stuck together by a pad of butter. We decided that for the sake of our own health to just get up and leave. Totally unbelievable.
So disappointed from our visit this time. Order was wrong, food was bland and not warm. Took forever to get another glass of wine...finally brought it when we were finished. Could never get anyone to refill our water glasses.
Wine and food were awesome! Ambience was great for friends and family gathering to celebrate a birthday. Love Cooper’s Hawk they never disappoint. Always a good time!
They make good food here and they have a very diverse menu for all diets and special needs. It can be a little noisy at peak times for dinner but the ambiance is usually very nice. They are a winery as well as a restaurant so if you like wine you'll have one more reason to go here.
They wedge salad is outstanding. I have had many in many other restaurants but this one is exceptional. They add a vinaigrette to the crumbled blue cheese that makes it special. I paired it with a sausage flat bread that was a little to heavy with pesto that made soggy. It also was a bit too overcooked. Shared a saucy shrimp appetizer that was excellent.
I would also recommend the Chicken Tortilla Soup and any burger on the menu based on prior visits. A companion had the tuna appetizer and raved about it.
If you are looking for good food that won't kill your budget around I-Drive in Orlando you can't go wrong here.
Overall we enjoyed our visit to Cooper’s Hawk. The place was big with of lots of seating but tables were close together. Our waitress was very nice, but service was slow. I believe they were understaffed for the crowd that was there. My main complaint would be how loud it was. We were sitting at a half circle booth and it was very hard to have a conversation. We could not hear ourselves talk!! We made it work. Food was delicious. I would defiantly go back for cocktails and appetizers
Wonderful ambiance, restaurant was very busy but great food, drinks, and service!
Every time we come to Orlando we make sure to dine at Cooper's Hawk. It is my favorite restaurant on or around International Drive. Everything on the menu is delicious. We often bring our guests here and so far everyone has been impressed with the food. Our service has always been great, too. On this trip I ordered the filet mignon and it was tender and tasty, and cooked perfectly. I got the wrong potatoes with it (not what I chose) but no matter, they were still great. There's so many wines to pick from that it's hard to choose, but you can ask for some samples and they will gladly oblige. This time we ordered the Cooper's Hawk red blend. Reservations are strongly urged since it always seems to be crowded.
Every single thing they do at Coopers Hawk is spot-on and will likely become your new benchmark for your favorite wines and cuisine!
