Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Columbus
Our sever Sam was terrific! Six of us were in a booth and he saw there wasn’t a lot of room and immediately moved us. He was friendly and helpful! Overall a great experience!
We arrived 20 minutes early and our table was not ready. After waiting an additional 20 minutes after our reservation, I approached the desk and told the manager Kyle we were not going to wait any longer but he asked me to wait 1 minute. He came back with a table and gave us an appetizer. He later came by to check on us and apologized for the wait. On top of the great service, the food was delicious! I can't remember our waitress name but she was awesome! My last waitress Ali was in the same area working and stopped by to say hello. Kudos Coopers Hawk!
Cooper's Hawk is a go-to for catching up with friends.
The wine and the service were top-notch. The food was just okay. We ordered the brussel sprouts appetizer which was full of flavor but undercooked and therefore tough. The entree we ordered was under the "specialties' tab and so we thought it would be good. As a vegan dish it was extremely bland and aside from the hummus being ok, the rest was flavorless. If they re-vamped the vegan menu items with more flavorful dishes we would be thrilled! :)
Shelby is an excellent server. She was personable, attentive and has a winsome personality!
We have a wonderful time with great food and drinks
Great food and service.
Cooper Hawk could not recognize the OpenTable reservation and had difficulty finding the reservation in their system.
Once they found the reservation in their system, it took a while for them to find the table.
Subsequently, the service and food were very good.
This is one of Columbus ‘s best restaurants. Justin was our server he was excellent. We had an array of food from salads to appetizers to lunch and entrées. The wine pour is one of the best in C bus. We will come here again and again
I have been to Cooper's Hawk in the past and the last time the food was not very good. It was average at best. We decided to try it again to give it another chance and this time was so much better. We were celebrating an anniversary. The wine tastings have always been great and this time the food was great. My only concern was the spaghetti and meatballs, my friend does not like any kind of spicy, not food, so she ordered the spaghetti thinking she would be safe but unfortunately it was too spicy for her to eat. You do not think spaghetti is going to be spicy at all. The risotto was amazing. Great service too.
Always enjoy our trips to Cooper's Hawk. Good food and wine.
Cooper's Hawk was great in terms of service..server rates a 10 out of 10 on every dimension. Food was great as well. Kitchen was very slow which was disappointing. I would not go there at a time when I was in a hurry.
WE were very unhappy..made reservations at 4:00pm for St Patricks Day Special because they sent out emails. When we got there after we ordered wine and salad they told us they were out of corn beef and cabbage. We would have went somewhere else to have it...
Seating times were later than the reservation and no drinks were offered to offset the delay. Our table of 4 waited 10 minutes just to receive water. The waitress seemed rushed and we were seated upstairs by the service area. Poor knowledge of the menu meant allergy concerns required multiple trips to and from the kitchen. Braised short ribs seemed to be pressure cooked, had gristle, and required the use of a knife. The cocktails were probably the highlight of the dinner. Poor value for the fairly high cost.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The only thing negative I can think of. There are no seats in the restaurant to sit while they get your table ready. They do have places outside which is wonderful in the summer. It just seamed very congested while we waited.
We had the best service we’ve had in months! Bella was our server and she was exceptional! Great personality- friendly, personable and courteous! More servers like her are needed! The food wasn’t quite as good as some times before but it was still good.
The food is consistantly good and the wine is amazing.
Our server, Bella, was phenomenal. She made a rare girls night out without kids super special. Both the food and wine were amazing! Also wowed by their extensive gluten free menu which was greatly appreciated by my friend. Will definitely be back.
Waiter was not the friendliest. Just didn't get a good vibe from him. It was VERY noisy in the tasting area which is where you wait for your table. They sat us in a corner so it wasn't so noisy there however it was by the windows so it was chilly.
We love this restaurant. It’s hard to get in for the wine tasting, but the food and service is amazing!
Everything was great.
Had reservations. 25 minutes later server finally attended our table to take drink order and then at that point we were ready to place our entire order. Server said there was a change in shifts and that’s why it took so long. But we had reservations and honestly change in shifts should be seamless and not obvious or lack in customer service.
Always changing the rules on us every time we visit. At our first visit, waiter asked us to buy our club wine at the retail outlet. Visited 2 more times, no issues. This past visit, waiter said "I have to charge you an $8 opening fee since you did not buy from me" This is a great concept, but the experience varies.
Excellent food and service. One of my Columbus favorites
Food is absolutely delicious and their wine selections is always top notch!
Great atmosphere! Wine is fantastic and they let you taste test before buying! Will certainly be back again when I am in town.
Grand daughters 25th Birthday
Good experience first time there.
I love everything about Coopers Hawk and is a member.. have been dining here for years, unfortunately, this time our waiter, Patrick was not in a good mood to serve us. It felt like we were taking his precious time.
Didn’t offered anything for the birthday girl so we order led creme brûlée. we asked for a candle but was told there’s none and he has no lighter. The restaurant has no lighter??? Overall, very disappointed night.
I will go back since I am a member but thinking about canceling it because nowadays the servers are not pleasant.
The seatting was okay. It was my fiancé and I anniversary and we put that on the reservation and were sat at a table in the middle of Everyone under a light. We wanted a romantic setting which we think cooper hawk does not provide. The food, wine, and service was exceptional though!
We go to Coopers Hawk at least twice a month. It is our favorite place. The service is great and the food is outstanding. Very neat and unique experience.
It's always a pleasure dining at Cooper's Hawk.
This used to be one of our favorite restaurants, however the quality of the food has decreased drastically. We ordered the over the border egg rolls, these used to be amazing full of flavor and identifiable chicken pieces, they now are made with shredded chicken that had absolutely no flavor...probably frozen and not homemade. We also ordered the buttermilk spicy fried chicken sandwich, a true disappointment my fries were cold and over salted, the bread was soggy which I pulled it off and moved it to the side to tell my waitress so that I could get a new piece of bread...not a new sandwich although I should have sent it back altogether...well she never came back...not until it was time to pay our check. We won't go back. I cand spend $ on lunch somewhere else.
Had a great waiter. We were seated promptly. A great place for a birthday celebration 😊
We always have a great time, the wait staff are wonderful and the food and wine are amazing!
I love Cooper Hawks! In fact I am apart of the monthly wine club! Our waitress I believe her name was chasity was extremely unpleasant! How sad when you are spending over $200.00 a meal for just two people! I asked her if she could please and thank you have my wine ready for me to pick up when we were leaving. Her comment was I had to wait in the line up front that she would not be getting my wine. Of course she stated it in a pleasant manner but that was not the point! Extremely disappointed in the service! Kyle the manager was amazing he was kind enough to bring me my wine at the table to take home! That is a service that they provide. Chasity did not want to do it! It saddens me because I was brought up to treat people the way I want to be treated which is exactly what I did!
WTTE noise level as so high we could hardly hear our waitstaff!
My friend and I went to the Cooper’s Hawk at Easton Mall in Columbus. She was apprehensive since she had had a poor experience there when it first opened. I convinced her to try CH again and she absolutely loved it! We both had the chicken Madeira and it was excellent! Robbie, our waiter suggested the egg rolls as an appetizer and they too were very, very good. All-in-all, we totally enjoyed our dinner and highly recommend Cooper’s Hawk to anyone looking to experience an enjoyable evening with good food, service and atmosphere.
The Brussels sprout appetizer was really good! We had wonderful service.
We made in the happy hours and enjoyed valuable wines and appetizer.
Definitely come back for Happy Hour again!
Food came out warmand some sent it back. It took us several minutes to get the servers attention. I think thry were short stsffed. It was a mondsy night. ???
