Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Columbus
CH is our go to place for a great dinner and glass of wine, or two. Great atmosphere and service. We’ve been club members since it opened!
Service was a bit slow, but I never felt rushed. Food was great and the wine was great!
Great lunch with girlfriends celebrating a birthday!!! Love the wine flights and the pretzel bread. Yummy lettuce wraps and a nice dessert to share!!!
The evening out was to celebrate my husband’s birthday and every was fantastic. The hosts were very accommodating since our guests arrived first and directed us to meet them at the bar even though our table was ready. Then our server, Sam, made for a great evening. His recommendations were perfect and we ended up chatting well past our meal. Great atmosphere and service as always from Cooper’s Hawk.
We had their pretzel crusted pork chops and they were awesome! So moist with great flavor. The vegetables and potatoes were great too! Service was excellent!
Annual dinner with cousin.
Food is ok. Only sell their own wine made in Illinois. None of the seafood is fresh according to the waitress. No specials. Draft beer list is small (3) and poor selection....I know wine is in the name of the restaurant. Premium wines are aged 9 months longer than regular! Prices were moderate but it is sort of The Cheesecake Factory trying to be a California winery and restaurant. Decent for a chain.
My wife and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. This is where we go to celebrate special occasions. The food and service is always great. We have not had a bad experience yet. We hope to be able to come back each year.
Sam our waiter was wonderful and attentive. Food was DELICIOUS! Love your Salmon.
Thank you, another GREAT meal there.
The wife and I love the wine and then we tried the food and we’ve been hooked ever since. This past time around, we brought our friends with because they also had the wine and feel in love with it as well. And they are still talking about how much fun they’ve had at CH on Saturday and how they are willing to come back and celebrate something.
In which, they love it because there are gluten-free options to choose from in case not many restaurants have this option.
Thank you for an awesome time and I do believe my friends will be back... not just for the wine, but for the food too!
We love Cooper’s Hawk! Wish there was one closer to the northwest area of Columbus
Had an awesome time with colleagues
Waitress didn’t offer bread, was very unattended. My dinner was burnt, as I’m still eating my dinner she dropped the check off didn’t come back for 20 mins to get the check and quickly drop off the change. Won’t come back the wine is good service was horrible .
Do not miss the calamari as it is the best in Columbus. The pretzel bread is also the best in Columbus. Couple these with a glass of the Cooper's Hawk Barrel Reserve and a well executed entree, you will not be disappointed and be back soon!
Great food, great wine and exceptional service!! A great place to go for a group dinner or for an intimate meal!!
This is my favorite place in any city they have a restaurant. The staff are all incredible and care very much for their patrons experience. The food is amazing especially the monthly Chef's recommendation.
Love the wine !!!!
Outstanding food - the menu is diverse and everything I have tried has been excellent. This was not exception. All four at our table were pleased. Great service! Wine in excellent. Highly recommend. We will return soon.
Perfect place for a birthday celebration and easy to find!!!
I love going to coopers hawk!!! I go at least once a week. Being a member of the wine club is very rewarding!!
My husband and I LOVED this place! Our server was incredible and really knew the menu and all the wines the restaurant had to offer. We will definitely be back soon!
We go there quite often and the food is always very good. Very lively atmosphere. Always great service.
I am a member of the wine club at Coopers Hawk and wanted to take my 27 year old son and my family for a special birthday dinner. I choose a Monday evening because I assumed that it would be less crowded. I made a reservation but the restaurant was so packed that it was difficult to walk through the lobby. The service was horrible and I do plan on contacting the restaurant management but I just have not had time to do so.
Waiter was too focused on a different table. Clearly they were people of “importance,” being served and catered to before our table, even though we had been sat first and drink orders taken. The party of about 8 was served wine before we even got our waters. The server had a few other servers bring us waters, straws, and pretzel bread while he stood there and chatted with the other table. A little disappointed in the service that night, seeing as the service here is usually great.
Waitress was all over the place or missing for 10 plus minutes at a time. Had to ask for items numerous times and they kept taking our food to another table. Everything else was wonderful.
My favorite restaurant. Service outstanding. Varied menu that will satisfy any mood or appetite. Fantastic wine selection and a knowledgeable staff to make suggestions to pair your wine with your dinner. I have yet to have a dish I haven’t loved and it is always a fun and relaxing experience. Did I mention the service is outstanding!
The food was amazing! I got the parmesan chicken with fluffy mashed potatoes and pickled vegetables, it was full of flavor! I would definitely be recommending this! My sister and grandma have some food intolerances/allergies and while the waitress addressed them, she seemed put out by it. Overall good and i would recommend them!
Awesome waiter who engaged with our group and gave ongoing attention to the guest celebrating a birthday. Our entrees were delicious and served hot. The one item that did not meet satisfaction was addressed.
Great wine tasting area. Food is really good especially the pork belly tostados!
I love Coopers Hawk Winery. I am a member, and love the wine tasting and food! It is a fun place to go, with a great atmosphere.
My wife and our friends generally get to Coopershawk three or four times every year. Service is consistently very good and friendly. There are menu items that we really enjoy. I.e. chicken Madera
Everything was wonderful as usual.
Our favorite Thanksgiving Day restaurant for the past four years. Great place for lunch also. Excellent food, delicious vegetarian choices so the whole family can dine together.
We have wanted to go here for quite awhile and so glad we finally got the opportunity. We had the red flight and appetizers. The the Brussels sprouts and meatballs were awesome. We definitely will return.
The service was terrible. It took forever for the server to take our drink order, even though he did manage to stop by the table to grab that white tented card (that alerts the servers that we haven’t been greeted yet). The manager said he’d give us a complimentary appetizer yet we were charged for it, and since it took forever to get the check, we just paid it. Also the fish sandwich is barely fish - just fried breading. The slices of avocado on the sandwich shouldn’t be mentioned on the menu since they were basically nonexistent. We will not be going back.
Great restaurant! Unfortunately had to wait 25 min for our 7pm reservation to get table ready. A bit frustrating.
Maybe a change with the cooks? The grouper was dry, mashed potatoes were something I could do better at home and the asparagus was too big (the chef should know smaller stalks are preferred) and it was over cooked. My friend had the crab cakes that were almost burnt and were not seasoned well. Patrick, our waiter was very kind. The calamari was a little too ‘bready’ but was good. The portion was good.
Great service and food, a little pricey but worth it!
We enjoyed our date and dinner at Cooper’s Hawk Winery Restaurants. We tend to be food critics and we truly enjoyed our dinner and experience and look forward to referring friends and family.
