We celebrated my husbands 81st birthday at Cooper's w/ kids & grandchild. Our waiter was excellent - very attentive without hovering. The food was very good. There was only one problem. We could not talk easily w/ the kids. The 2-1/2 year old grandchild covered her ears as soon as sat down. The restaurant is popular & crowded, but cannot they some noise deafening material in the ceiling or walls. It is not enjoyable when one is shouting across the table.

Had dinner with friends that we had not been out with in a year. We’re seated in the barrel room off to the side. A young child was seated at the table next to us who proceeded to scream a talk loudly through our entire meal. So disappointed. Ruined our entire evening.

We were out celebrating our daughter’s first job after graduating college! First of all, we started off with dinner with amazing food & an amazing waitress. After dinner we did wine tasting with Kathy at the wine tasting bar, as usual, Kathy is friendly, she explains the different wines, she makes us feel welcome & comfortable as we taste the different wines. Thank you!!

Outdoor area was closed, we were really upset. The tables and chairs only a little wet, they could have easily been dried off. Our server Jess was not very friendly or attentive.

This past Saturday was our first time there. We went for my boyfriend's birthday. Very relaxing atmosphere, not hectic at all like I thought it would be. The food was great, but I'm picky and didn't really like Betty's Potatoes that come with Dana's Chicken. Other than that, like the food was great! He ordered a pineapple mojito, that was delicious. Jessica was the absolute best! She was quick & attentive! We will definitely be coming back again! It was a great, inexpensive experience.

We are members of Cooper's Hawk, but went most recently to celebrate our son's birthday. I requested a booth and got one in the bar area which is my favorite area with big booths. We had a wonderful time, and the staff was very helpful and efficient even bringing him the birthday dessert plate. I would recommend them highly for any occasion.

I've been to several CH in Illinois. Burr Ridge is one of the nicest. The only complaint is the LIfe Balance Tuna Tacos were flavorless. But I will certainly try other Life Balance Foods...it's a great concept.

It seems to always be an issue with plenty of tables open and not enough servers. We arrived a few minutes earlier then our scheduled reservation and one of the girls at the counter checked us in and waited until I had gone to the bathroom. When I went back to the desk, another girl told me I would not get seated until closer to our reservation time. Then the girl who checked us in came back and said she already checked us in and then seated us. Not sure about the communication at the hostess desk.

The Asian shrimp was awful. I felt sick after eating it. My sister pulled off the breading and it was so heavily coated that it was not even an entire shrimp in it. The coleslaw which accompanied it tasted old. Not worth price.

Always a great place the food had something for everyone the wine is always outstanding amd a new wine is introduced every month. I have been a wine club member since 2011 have been going to dinner and lunch there on average of 2 times a month and have never been disappointed

Food was great as always. Service was very slow. The server did the best she could (she was great!) She even apolojized on the delays as she was the only person waiting on outside seated guests. It was very apparent the entire restaurant was under staffed. It took WAY too long just to pickup my monthly wine club wines from the front counters who had only one person behind each counter.

We always have great food AND service at this location. Today was disappointing.

The food is always good. The table service is almost always good. This night in particular, just getting seated was a terrible experience. So much so that we had to leave. We made an 8:15 reservation on a Sunday night and showed up 10 minutes early. At 8:25 I checked with the host stand. They were busy and our table wasn’t ready. I could see that several parties that were there before us still had not been seated and they were very upset. To be proactive, I went to talk to the host and let her know that I understood they were busy and I could be patient, but because we had a sitter and we’re on a time crunch I needed to know if there was any chance we’d be seated soon. She told me to give her two minutes. Thirty minutes later, at 9:00, we were one of two parties still waiting to be seated. My husband went to ask her how much longer since now we needed to be home in an hour. She said we were next but couldn’t tell us how long. So maybe an hour after my reservation she possibly could’ve sat us. We had to leave. On a Sunday, there’s nothing left open at 9:00 except fast food or bar food. Had she been honest with me at 8:30, I had four other options of restaurants within a 5 minute walk where I could’ve gotten a decent meal.

Normally I would highly recommend but I had a very bad experience this time. I made a reservation for 6:30, checked in at 6:15 . At 6:40 I asked how long it would be and they said there were 9 tables ahead of us! Once seated it took 25 min to get a server . Server admitted he was overwhelmed and kitchen was behind. 3 of our meals came and one came after we were done so my friend ate alone and food was all cold.

I've eaten at other CooperHawk locations and always had an excellent experience.
This one was horrendous. Started out the entry was jam packed with people waiting to be seated. Way over booked. Once we were seated we were told they would have someone bring place settings (never happened and I finally had to ask the waitress when soup was served)
My husband asked for lemonade but they were out, understandable. He asked for a cup of soup but instead was brought a bowl.
From the time we sat until the time our dinner arrived it was well over an hour.
The waitress kept apologizing we still didn't get our meals. The manager came apologized, said she would get our mesls ASAP and dinner was on the house. Still no food. Both came back again but still no food.
Finally when our food arrived my husbands steak was so burnt it looked like charcoal and his vegetables and fries were so cold, my fish was half raw.
How could something as obvious as a charcoal burnt black steak even be brought to a table?
We got up and left. So extremely disappoining.

The restaurant continues to overbook and their kitchen can not handle the amount of people. Wait with a reservation was 15 min and without over 2 hours. It is great that they have the business but service is very slow, and not the fault of the servers.

Celebration with visitors from Northern Europe
And the food was delicious.
Wine is average at best.
Service was acceptable and allowed us to speak to each other.
Definitely coming back

Our server, Alex, was fantastic! He took such great care of our group and was so friendly. We really enjoyed our meal and wine. The only negative is how loud it was, but hey, it was a Saturday night and that's expected. I look forward to the next visit!

Our waitress was wonderful and did her best to make our anniversary dinner nice. My husband’s meat was over done and mine was raw. The waitress offered to have it cooked more but I wanted to eat with my husband and didn’t want his meal to get cold waiting for me. It was disappointing since it was a very special occasion for us.

Although the waiter was nice enough (Alex) after he took our entrée order I think he forgot about us as someone else brought out our food (it was cold) and must have been sitting out for a bit.
It was my birthday and he did finally bring out a chocolate covered strawberry and white truffle later.

Love going ...but sometimes it’s just to loud.....it can be very crowed and thanthenoise level is bad
