Met some friends for dinner and thanks to our excellent server, we had a very enjoyable time. The hostess originally seated us next to a large group of very noisy people who were obviously having a nice celebration. The restaurant wasn't very full at the time and we passed many open tables and booths so not sure why. After we were greeted by server but before taking our orders for drinks, we made him aware of issue and he gladly moved us to a quieter area away from group. It made a big difference in being able to hear each other's conversation and dinner was very good as always.

Best service we have had in a LONG time! Avery was an excellent waiter taking a lot of time with us for our first visit. He encouraged us to try new things and was always quick to refill our drinks and bread. What a great evening for our family!!

Made a reservation online, in the comments section requested to sit with one of 3 specific servers by name. Comments were either not read or ignored. Don't provide a comments section if it's not used! First table was lop-sided, requested to sit at a different table and it was taken care of immediately. Requested two wine tasters each, ordered salad and dinner entree. We also experienced a hard piece of plastic in one of the salads! Wasn't given enough time to finish our salads before the entrees arrived and the server never came back to take our wine order! Isn't this a winery?!?! Supervisor and Manager took care of us but who is hiring new staff without training them properly to work in an upscale restaurant where people are spending top dollar for food, wine and service? It's not like it used to be and these new unseasoned servers make me feel like I'm in a low-rent diner! This is our second bad experience. Hoping it changes and if not we'll figure out another "go to" restaurant .... The entire experience was upsetting to say the least since we went to celebrate a special occasion

We started with drinks; my son's girlfriend & I splitting a Lux flight, which contained 4 excellent wines. The men had mules which they enjoyed as well. I wasn't super keen on the Calamari appetizer as it is very, very bready. The sauce & dip is super good so if they cut down on the breading they will have it just right. I ate the Light version tenderloins which were cooked to perfection. My son's Surf & turf also very good, shrimp scampi was huge as was the chicken dish my husband got. Finished it off with chocolate cake & key lime pie. All and all, a lovely meal. The waitress was very nice but we had trouble hearing her as she spoke quietly and while I wouldn't say the restaurant was loud, it was loud enough to make hearing her across the booth difficult.

We always have a great time at Coopers Hawk. My husband and I are wine club members and shared one of our bottles at our dinner which is nice. We also have 2 picky eaters under 10, so the restaurant does a great job of catering to them while still allowing my husband and I to eat and feel like adults. It’s one of our favorite go tos because of its ability to cater to both! Always great service and we’re obsessed with the calamari!

I’ve already recommended Coopers Hawk to a few people since I was there Friday!! The only thing I was bothered by was the portion size of the shrimp scampi I offered was disappointing given how much it costs. It was swimming in the sauce but not much substinance. Other than that....everything was amazing!

My friend and I had an appointment and were short on time. Our waiter, Kadeem, made every effort to get our meal and drinks out quickly. He was professional and courteous. Wish all servers were like him! The food was delicious. We had a terrific lunch.

First time there and I was amazed at the ambience. So much to look at. A feast for the eyes. Well done. Food presentation, taste, and spacing between courses, spot on. Looking forward to trying Reston and Annapolis. I'll be back to Ashburn.

I had the short ribs which were excellent. Ordered their Cabernet Sauvignon and it was very good (especially at the price). I would recommend this restaurant - they try to upsell you on their wine club
but even with the discounts the pricing is higher than total wine or costco so not sure I would find tremendous value in that.

Never disappointed with Cooper’s Hawk! We were seated in a timely manner and the food is routinely delicious! I appreciated how the waiter, brought me a “taster” of wine that he thought paired well with my order. I would have ordered a full glass had my 4-yr-old not hit his limit of confined spaces.

Had a nice dinner at Cooper's! We had wine and cocktails and shared a wedge salad for starter. I'm gluten free and server was very helpful with my order which I modified somewhat. She brought gf bread (excellent) instead of the usual pretzel bread and I asked for extra veggies instead of potatoes to accompany my Life Balance Salmon. All in all it was a good experience as always.

We didn’t complain to our waitress but we likely won’t be returning. Neither of us cared for the food. Oversalted fish, undercooked potatoes and veggies. Glad we tried it but maybe this food is too fancy for the likes of us.

Nice social upbeat vibe, friendly staff, and server Jacob W. was outstanding-to-the-max, but the complementary Pretzel-bread and appetizers outshined the entrees. The Tostadas and the Bacon & Cheeses Platter were excellent, but my Pistachio-crusted Grouper was an oil-sodden disappointment with no crunch or pistachio flavour. Center-cut Strip Steak was a good hot-pink center medium-rare, but ordinary. Business model emphasizes Winery, but the Wines we sampled were disappointing. The Whites are aged in stainless-steel, and the Reds are aged in oak, but for no more than 6-months, so adjust expectations. Cocktails were creative and strong. Recommend the Citrus Gin and house Negroni. Our reservation was off-peak 4:30PM on a Saturday, so noise level was lower, and allowed for easy conversation.
