Service was not up to par this visit despite the restaurant not being busy. Our server brought out wine bread appetizers - never any silver ware or plates? I had to flag down another server to bring to us. Our waiter went long periods without checking on us - my medium rare beef medallions came out “Gray” not once but twice. Disappointing to say the least. I like CH wines but the food is just OK and the service this past time really turned me off. Probably stick to the bar where service is always great - and the tasting bar.
Sally the hostess and Sanford our waiter provided us excellent customer service. I brought my elderly parents in for my fathers birthday dinner and Sally was sure to address our concerns with the corona virus and seated us at the perimeter of the room in a booth. Sanford provided us great service at our table, they are both “Class Acts” and an asset to your establishment.
Very friendly staff. Excellent menu choices to meet any dietary preferences. Wonderful wine.
Our wine pourer was phenomenol! Our waiter, Sam, was fantastic! Love every entree I've tried there. Wine is awesome, and so good, we're members!
Had a very nice dinner with family at Cooper's! Food and service was excellent. Sad to see it's closed now except for wine pickup. Hope their back to normal soon.
Always enjoy CH.
Once a again we had a pretty bad experience at CH in Ashburn. I ordered the surf & turf which arrived with zero flavor and totally overcooked. We were already there using coupons we received from a prior bad dining experience, but honestly this time was worse. I asked for a chicken sandwich to replace my meal, and it took forever. We were there from 5:30-8:00. Way too long. Horrible service, and another bad experience.
We love dining at Cooper's Hawk, any day of the week. The menu offers excellent selection and customizing a meal is never a problem. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about the food & wine offerings available. Whether you are a party of 2 or 10, Cooper's Hawk is a great choice for a meal!
Excellent food and service. Great value. Not overpriced.
Loud, can not hear people at your own table. Left early and will not return to any coopers restaurant. Have been twice, enough!
Beyond fabulous food! Excellent menu! It was sooooo loud in there that you could not hear yourself think though.
Restaurant was very, very busy and loud. Nonetheless we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. Management and staff were apologetic over the wait and worked hard to make up for it. Food was very good and service was outstanding
The overall experience was good but there were few issues that detracted from the visit. The noise level in the waiting area was quite loud and lacked sufficient seating for those waiting. We had a reservation for 4 at 6 pm and were not seated until 6:30. The food was good especially the appetizers and seafood. The waitress was pleasant and efficient and the wait time for the food was O.K. given how busy they were.
I had a dinner reservation, but was not seated on time and had to wait an addition 30 minutes, which is unacceptable. I can see maybe 15 minutes, but not going on 30 minutes. Manager did provide a free appetizer to make up for it, which was nice and appreciated. This location is becoming so crowded that I feel that they are over booking dinner reservations.
Ordered 3 cocktails and all were terrible. Asked for gluten free bread and was given regular bread which I ate! We did not care for the wine selections. Food was average. We would not recommend.
Our 1st experience there was amazing! Food was excellent. Our waiter Jeremy was great and helped us on our food selections too. Will return!
Server at Coopers Hawk Restaurant for was carting three large plates and poured steak juice all over my hat, maybe you should realize your not talented enough to carry 3 large plates of food.
He puts a plate down and at the same time leans the two plates on his arm forward allowing the juice to run off and pour on my jacket and hat.
My head hurts so bad right now from the rage of anger but thankfully I was intelligent enough to not go ballistic on his puny self.
Server shouldn't have carried three plates.
Manager filed paperwork and took pictures.
I’ve called Corp hq and awaiting response
Catalina Hatters in Bryan TX says they can restore/clean for $120. Plus me shipping to them.
We have been to Coopers Hawk many times which is why we chose this restaurant for my husbands 60th birthday dinner. I made the reservations the day before and specified in the reservation that we wanted the larger booth and that it was for a 60th birthday. I also called the day of to confirm and go over the detailed requests. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our scheduled reservation. They had seated 4 parties in our requested areas just prior to our arrival. We had to wait over one hour for our table. Then when our main course was delivered, only half was delivered. After sitting patiently for 10 minutes for the remaining dishes, we had to ask another waiter for our food. All in all, not a good night at Coopers Hawk.
We arrived early for dinner and glad we did as it was very busy around 7:00 - 7:30 pm. We saw a queue for dining and for a Wednesday, the place was busy. We loved our Jambelaya and Thai Scallop and Shrimp.
Went here for an anniversary dinner we had been given a gift card. Enjoyed a full meal including appetizer and dessert. Food was wonderful. Service was great we were never hurried.
Wish they had like this in NJ.
I’m a fan of this restaurant, the food is good to very good, the servers are friendly and the wine has good value. The kitchen can be erratic with orders taking a long time to get to the table.
Waitress was always rushing us And not attentive to empty glasses and desert menu
Great atmosphere and the food is always delicious. The staff are always so friendly and helpful!
Food and service were great. The issue in your restaurant is the loud noise level - bluntly, it is not good at all and that, unfortunately, detracts from the great food, beverages and service.
Great service, delicious food—always a wonderful experience.
Overall Cooper's is great place for lunch or dinner. The food is always consistently good but sometimes service is a little spotty. Other negative is be careful where they sit you cause some of the large tables tend to be very noisy. Otherwise, we love coming here and enjoy the ambiance and food.
Great place, great food, great people! Absolutely love Cooper's Haw (Ashburn)! Everyone is friendly and helpful! Awesome place for any occasion - caught up there with my mom recently - did a tasting followed by dinner, and both of us had an amazing time! Thank you to the team there - the TR attendant, Jessie, was knowledgeable and so sweet! The manager (I think her name was Dany) stopped by just to see how everything was (I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant where the manager stopped by just to check on us and be so engaged), and our server, Justin, was polite and attentive! The food was beyond delicious! You all are rock stars!
Everything was wonderful...except, my banana bread was BURNT! I was so excited about it for DAYS and was pretty disappointed.
Great service and our party was seated on time for our reservation! The food was exceptional as always even with a full dining room on a Saturday evening.
The Wine and Food were excellent. Our Server Chris was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. his wine suggestions were spot on
We love CH! Wine club is the best value for the quality of wine. Highly recommend!
Started the evening with a wine tasting and then had dinner in the restaurant. We enjoyed the tasting and and ended the evening with the chocolate raspberry wine we had during the tasting. Fun evening!
Service really slow. Shrimp lobster bisque was not good. Cold and thick. Salad seemed o
Great service and good food
I always have a good experience at Cooper's Hawk. The food and wine is always outstanding. Although, it gets crowded and somewhat noisy, it's always good.
I normally enjoy this restaurant very much. Today was different. Our server was great but the amount of time that the kitchen took to make the food was not. We had a 45 minute delay from getting seated to getting our meals. Our server stated the kitchen was backed up and there was a delay in preparing the food. He was very polite and apologetic. We spent 2 1/2 hours in the restaurant. I've never had this experience the others times I patronized Cooper's Hawk and I will continue to based on such.
Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal selection. I had Gnocchi with squash and it was sooooo good. He had surf and turf, steak medallions with grouper. Very very good... we also had appetizer, chicken lettuce wraps. The filling and sauces were delicious, but the lettuce wraps were so tiny we had a difficult time trying to put the filling in them - very hard to eat... we basically used a fork to eat the filling, dipping each forkful into the sauces.
Our server was excellent
This is one of my favorite restaurants. We drive 1:15 to get there, but it's worth it. Their trio of fillets with 3 different toppings, is so delicious. Yesterday I had the short ribs and OMG they were so tender and flavorful. You must get the roasted brussel sprouts! I've never had a bad meal here.
The service was pretty good, a little slow at times. Was disappointed that they were out of my favorite wine (Scarletto).
