   Enjoyed getting a comp tasting of champagne upon entry for Mother’s Day! But after that it went downhill. I LOVE the short rib risotto and that was the whole reason I made the reservation and they were out of risotto. I ordered the chicken piccata and it was very bland. Both of my sons ordered skirt steak medium rare, one came out perfect the other came out 1/3 the size and well done. He didn’t want to be embarrassed so wouldn’t let me complain. We won’t be back anytime soon unfortunately. I’ve been eating better so haven’t ordered the risotto in a long time and was really looking forward to that for my Mother’s Day treat.

   Understandably, the restaurant was expected to be busy yesterday, as it was Mother's Day, so I tried to make things a bit easy on my server, Ryan, by letting him know what I wanted when he first came to take my order. I ordered the appetizer (bisque), entree (salmon), and dessert all at once and asked for a wine suggestion to pair with my meal. He suggested the Moscato. I asked him not to bring everything out at once, but rather to space it as with regular timing. The wine was served before I got my appetizer. The glass was cold with visible condensation. I told the server that was supposed to come out with the meal. He apologized and took it back. The appetizer was then served. About halfway through, the wine was brought back out by a different server. The glass still appeared to be cold but with less condensation. Again, I told the server I wanted the wine with the entree. He also apologized and took it away. As I was finishing up the soup, another server brought out Brussel sprouts with salmon on top. He noticed I was visibly confused and asked if I ordered the Brussel sprouts as my appetizer with salmon. I told him the entree was supposed to be the Soy Ginger Salmon with a side of Brussel sprouts. He apologized and said he'd let my server, Ryan, know and have the kitchen correct it. I stepped away to the restroom and when I returned the entree was left on the table along with the wine. The glass no longer looked cold and there was no condensation. When Ryan stopped to check on me, I told him the wine was hot. He offered to bring me a fresh glass. He returned shortly thereafter with what appeared to be the same glass of Moscato. I tried to enjoy it with my meal but it was hot and after a few sips, it was taking away from the taste/experience of pairing a wine with the salmon, so I left the rest. I was quite disappointed by the entire dining experience. At times, I felt rushed. I was a party of one. This should not have been hard to manage or understand.

   Reservations for two at 6:30. Sat on time but food didn’t come out until 8:05. Tables around us waited a long time for food too. Ordered Short Rib Risotto but got Grouper. Server said they were out of Short Rib. I had asked while ordering which was better. Didn’t ask me if changing the order was ok, just delivered the grouper. Both mens and women’s Bathrooms were not stocked with supplies. Not a good experience at all.

   Crowded, noisy, took 25 minutes to get beverages. Had to ask for water and bread twice. Waitress said kitchen was crazy and she admittedly didn’t know she hadn’t taken our order. Food was bland. Restaurants should not accept reservations if unable to handle the crowd. Never going back again!!!

   I felt very rushed through my meal. We have been members of Cooper’s Hawk for the last 3 years but we are really thinking of cancelling our membership. You need to change the menu.

   The only downside to our experience was the short ribs and Italian gnocchi entrees. Our waiter (w/handbar mustache) great service; appetizers and bisque were wonderful.

   One of our normal favorite restaurants, but they really let us down on Mother’s Day. We waited over 40 minutes for our food and when if did come out it was lukewarm at best. Our server was great, but the kitchen was definitely struggling.
