It is always a fun time, starting at with the wine tasting, and finishing with a great meal.
Food and wine is excellent. The dishes they prepare are very fun and creative.
A little noisy in this location.
A great place for a night out with the wife
Great food , great wine, great family to share dinner! Noise level was off the charts, happy diners!!
I have always been a big fan of Cooper's Hawk. However, on St, Patrick's Day eve that was NOT the case! For the first time ever, we were very disappointed... First, we opted to go there on a reservation to avoid the crowds else where. Second, I have always raved about the extensive menu while pointing out we have always had great food!
That being said we called ahead, only to check to see if Corned Beef & Cabbage was a menu option for St. Patty's Day. Delighted my husband decided that would be his entrée ! Sadly it had limited, small sized pieces of Corned Beef, 4-5 single slices of Carrot, and half of Cabbage, and a quarter cup of potatoes. Seemed hard to believe given the fact that our reservation was at 5:15 p.m. to say the least. The overall size portion did not warrant the $20 price either. My husbands face was numb...with disappointment, Worst meal ever at any Cooper's Hawk!
Very sad. We came here to celebrate what should have been a fun day/early evening out with good friends and awesome food!
Great food and service!
We love Marco! Great service and a really nice man
Server was friendly. Didn’t rush us. Our dinners all came out except one. Manager apologized and offered soup. Food and wine was good.
The food and the service in the dining room were excellent. It is a little too loud for me but the food makes it tolerable once in awhile. It was chilly on Monday and I wore a fleece anticipating that it might be. After dinner I stopped to pick up my wine (wine club) and was disappointed with the rushed service - I was not tasting, just picking up and when I got to the hotel to drop my guest off I discovered that I did not receive the bottle of white wine - I believe it was Chenin Blanc, the current month wine. Disappointing because my guest loved it and I wanted to give it to her as a gift.
Good food. Enjoyed the location and server
The food took a long time to come out even though it was not as busy as I've seen it in the past.
It was awesome
This was my Birthday luncheon with my sister. I had a reservation for 2 people, once we were seated it took 20 minutes to get a waitress over to get our drink order. That only occurred after my sister got up and went to the hostess and asked for our server. The food took another 1.5 hours for our meal, for a veg dish and a lunch salmon, that seems excessive. The server never came back to say sorry it is taking so long, would you like an appetizer. The room we sat in was empty, but there was a baby shower in another room. If you can not handle the reservations you should have more staff to accommodate the guests. I could not wait to leave since it took over 3 hours to get out. Completely disappointed, will not come back.
Love it. The food was tasty.
Seated promptly. Great food and wine.
Never been disappointed.
Can get noisy and hard to talk sometimes
Food was fantastic!!!!
In main dining room , tables are way too close to each other , couldn’t squeeze another table in there if you tried!!!!
Also it’s so loud in there ...,, you can barely hear the people at your own table!!!!
My experience was an awesome one as always.
Honestly the servuce was a HUGE disappointment. Our server was incredibly slow, not busy, but slow. We should have had plenty of time to do the wine tadting after lunch before our movie, but due to her we couldn’t.
The entree’s were very good - thank goodness. We got dessert, but it wasn’t quite what we expected from the description. I am sure i will be back at some point, but i will make sure i do not have anything planned afterwards.
Excellent service. Food was delicious. Nice touch that are appetizer salad we shared was split into two separate plates.
We go between Arlington Heights and South Barrington locations. The service is more consistent in So Barrington. I find that Arlington Heights is so large and the main dining area deafeningly noisy making it difficult to have a conversation . The service is also spotty. It wasn’t terribly busy but our service was extremely slow this time.
Another great evening at Cooper's Hawk
We had a reservation, and were seated at a table. The couple behind is with no reservation were seated at a booth. Felt like we were being rushed once we finally got service. Waited a while for our wine and pretzel bread. Food was brought halfway through our soup. We did talk to a manager, and he took one entree off our bill. The food was excellent as always.
The food was great!! The service was very attentive.
Cooper’s Hawk is a fun atmosphere and the food is very good. We are wine club members and enjoy the wide variety of wines they offer. We come here after and are never disappointed
Nice place to celebrate a birthday low key.
I’d been to Cooper’s Hawk before and had good food, the noise level is always a bit much for me. I chose Cooper’s Hawk for my birthday, looking forward to a good meal, but the meal wasn’t very good this time. That along with the noise level and lack of ‘fine dining’ feel, we most likely won’t be returning.
First time at Coopers hawk and was impressed with the value and the food!!
Food and food server was fabulous
The service to pick up wine was poor
Took a long time to be waited on
Some of the most delicious and memorable meals I've had lately have been at Cooper's Hawk. The service is impeccable, the food is absolutely scrumptious, and the wines are memorable. Our server was courteous, very accommodating and entertaining. I am a vegetarian, and I found numerous menu items that I could order. And you simply MUST try to the roasted brussels sprouts with sriracha sauce. So good! Plus, the order was so large I was able to make a meal of the leftovers the following day. Cooper's Hawk has become my favorite restaurant.
I Love this place been here 3 other times, but each time people gets louder and louder.
Great food! Great service!
We love Coopers Hawk restaurants, food and wine!! Has become our favorite though the closest restaurant to us is an approx 45-mins drive.
Everything was good except noise level. Seems like every table had to screen to be heard by their party. Ears ringing.
The manager Tom is extremely nice and helpful. Great food, great wine, great ambiance.
We have been to other Coopers Hawk locations and had great meals and service. This one is very open and noisy, partly to the large open ceiling. There was music playing but you could only hear it muffled because of the crowd noise. Nothing they can do about it, just so you know ahead of time. We went with a group of 8 and asked to be seated close to the front so some in our party had a short distance to walk. They were very accommodating with this and held our table while others arrived. Our food took a very long time to get to us, and when it did some dishes were not as warm as one would expect from this restaurant. We were there for a birthday celebration and ordered desserts, again they took a long to to be served and one dessert took about 10 minuets longer than the others. Just when i was going to cancel it, it showed up. Not my best Coppers Hawk experience. If you have a choice maybe try another location.
The server was so nice she did great job and making us to feel very comfortable
Good go to place for lunch or dinner in the area. Would recommend to others.
Excellent food as usual. In the club and tasted the new Portuguese wine( being as I am Portuguese) . It was wonderful.
Love the Brussel sprouts appetizer- sauce is complex and spicy sweet!
Had birthday treat- chocolate covered strawberry and truffle compliments of the house🍫❤️🍷🎂
The service was terribly slow. I am not planning on returning
Linda was amazing at helping us try the best wines for our tastes ( I like the sweets while my guy likes the reds) she was so friendly and really knew her wines.
