Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Arlington Heights
Very loud in the restaurant, makes it hard to converse.
Wonderful! The staff and our waiter was great! Get the calamari! It’s the best thing on the menu!
Always get us in quickly to our table. Service varies to avg to good over the years. Food is plentiful and delicious. Can get very loud on Friday nights
Previous visits to this location caused me to choose it for me and 7 friends. This visit was unfortunate, with at least 3 of 8 entrees worthy of return to the kitchen. Apps were great, so now it’s just a bar
Great food always great service Would highly recommend
Cooper’s Hawk has it all. Great food, great service, and most of all great food!
I’m hoping to go to the new location in Chicago. Fantastic for us city dwellers!
We love dining at Cooper’s Hawk. Been to multiple of their locations. Been a member since 2010 too. For some reason this particular location in Arlington Heights has always have an issue at the host level getting you seated. I rarely see positive attitude. You almost feel unwelcome. I’m glad the servers and bar tenders are super nice at least to compensate the negativity you encounter at the start.
I hope CH management resolves this issue soon.
I had a coupon for a free appetizer so decided to go, even though I’m not a big fan of the wines. The Mexican egg rolls were outstanding! Our server was outstanding. The food was so-so. I had a ginger soy glaze salmon, which I thought would’ve taken on more of a ginger or soy flavor, it it really took on a sugar flavor.
Always good service, food and wine. Table was ready early.
Great Place. Celebrating son's birthday. Service was terrific , food scrumptious .Had three young granddaughters with us (age 6,5,and 2) and the entire staff was very considerate of the girls. Got our table quickly (based on our reservation time). Did some gift shop purchases and that was done very well too. Took very good care of our party of 7 (4 adults, 3 children) Love this place !
Tuesday nights are apparently busy due to members double points nights. So be aware of that if you go on a Tuesday. The service was great food was excellent
Our waiter Eddy was outstanding! He tried very hard to make our experience pleasurable by giving us outstanding service.
Second time in a row that we have had lackluster service at Cooper’s Hawk. Bread never arrived as promised, waters were never refilled and our waitress barely had time for us. Food was good as always but if I’m hoping this isn’t a permanent slide into mediocrity for this once beloved restaurant.
Great Birthday Spot. The food & wine selections are great. This was my 3rd time eating there & Its been great every time.
The food was VERY good and the service great! We don't eat out often and we were impressed with everything.
Birthday with friend
Average everything but it comes together positively. This location is well situated for friends from North Shore and places like Elgin or Cary to meet halfway.
I had the ginger soy glazed New York strip for dinner. Steak was good but Wasabi buttered mashed potatoes were just a lump on the plate and the vegetables were hard as a rock . We were seated in the back room which was loud and not particularly comfortable with many big groups. I will specify next time that I want to be in the main dining room . The waiter was good and the calamari appetizer was excellent but my dinner left something to be desired. My wife had Churrasco grilled steak which she said was excellent. The last couple of times we have been there we have not been thrilled and we may re-think our restaurant choice next time . We have been wine club members for many years.
I have never been disappointed at a meal at Coopers's Hawk. Anyone else we've introduced to the place has been thrilled. I cannot recommend any place higher.
Wonderful birthday dinner with my sister but they put us at a quieter booth per my request. Our waitress Lynn was great and so helpful. We thought she had worked there a long time and were surprised she was fairly new. Kudos to her for making our evening perfect and special.
Great spot, it never fails, service is prompt. Happy customer
Our group requested a corner table and was accommodated .( Had not seen each other is some time and wanted a place where we could talk). The service was excellent, even when it got busier. The food was, as usual excellent, the ambiance exciting, and in addition, parking was convenient. Good dining experience.
The food is great and the staff is vary friendly. I like the atmosphere.
Good place. Good venue for a business lunch. Not cheap but clients don't want a QSR so I guess that is to be expected.
The service was a little off. Our server brought our appetizer and entree at almost the same time. She promised she would space out our food, she didn’t deliver on her promise. We felt rushed. Not a very good experience this time around.
Had the Chef’s special, Salmon in lemon butter caper sauce, which was absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best meals I’ve had there. Wish they would put this dish on regular menu! Service was great!
The restaurant is way too noisy to talk with others at your table.
Coopers Hawk usually has great food but both dishes we ordered were bland and lacked the usual flavor that always wows us. It was very disappointing. It was also so loud that we had to practically yell to hear each other talk. Not good for a family dinner. The wine was great though!
Always happy to choose this location... keep up the good work.
Our waitress was fantastic! However, when having a early reservation time with a nearly empty room we should have been seated in a back table rather than by the kitchen and the incoming guests.
In the wine club so come here often. The wine is great and the us always good. It’s a lively environment even during the week.
The service was fantastic. Our waiter was one of the best I’ve had-friendly and attentive but not to the point of being intrusive. The food was very good for a chain. The prosecco was excellent. The only drawback was the noise level. I would definitely eat there again and next time I’ll order a full bottle of wine.
As wine club members we dine here often. This was our first disappointing menu item... 25.00 Barramundi fish. It was ONE piece no bigger than a fish stick! Everything else was up to par. Very surprised at this offering... don’t order it if you’re even remotely hungry.
We have had a great time every time at Coopers Hawk.
The staff was very helpfull and the Calamari was just the right size to share with others.
We ate in the cask room, so it was quieter.
Will be going back again and again.
Always have a great time when we go there for lunch or dinner.
Waiter was great and the food
Food was ok - not outstanding
My husband wanted the crab & lobster bisque but they were out, Being 12:30 in the afternoon I was a bit surprised. On the way out I went to purchase few bottles of my favorite wine only to find out it was out of stock as well - bit of a disappointment
Always good food and service
Our favorite place to go out to eat. A little pricey, but I'm also a part of their monthly wine club and their wines are fabulous and not over priced. My only "complaint" was they were out of the special. Food is out of this word. Every. Time.
