Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Arlington Heights
Always a great time...A+++
We were seated under 3 minutes of arriving and our waiter was very polite and attentive. The food was amazing and all appetizers, meals and desserts were brought at perfect times
Great food and service. Would be nicer if they would take care of better acoustics. It gets very loud.
Went there for my birthday! Kelly, our server was great! Fun place to celebrate a birthday!
First time I’ve had bad service here. Usually it’s not a big deal, but our server pretty much ignored our table, forgot about our food (which took an hour) and when it came out you can tell it was sitting under the heat lamps for a long time. She didn’t even apologize- the manager did which was nice and offered a complimentary dessert, but at that time we were just ready to go.
Always a great time tried the Wwe Barrel with apps it was Wonderful red Barrel wine! Highly recommended try it before its gone!
Marco is amazing waiter, very attentive and overall very nice! Food was great not to mention the swine was great too!
My husband’s filet was wonderful. The risotto not so much. Wine was good. Truffles seemed hard and not very flavorful, like they were too cold.
CoopersHawk never disappoints. The food quality, the excellent service, and the energetic atmosphere make dining here an enjoyable event consistently over the last 4 years. We will keep coming back until we’ve tried EVERYTHING on this lovely menu. Then we will start all over again.
Our appetizer this time was a lovely crispy caprese flatbread. Almost a meal in itself, it was covered fresh tasty tomatoes, cheese, and lovely basil and dressing drizzle. Our chicken piccata and spicy crispy Asian shrimp were fabulous to see and eat.
This months Wine is a superb juicy Barbera. A treat in itself. I had a glass with dinner, but accepted a lovely not too sweet moscato for dessert to accompany their luscious chocolate cake.
Pretty sure I’ll dine there next month too!
The food is always good but the service is pretty slow. We waited a long time to get the check and then for someone to pick it up, and it was not that busy on a Sunday afternoon.
Waitress barely checked on us, we received table bread when our appetizers arrived & not immediately after sitting down, and she walked away too quickly before we could tell her that a couple of us wanted drinks after all. The chef’s recommendation chicken risotto was all right.
The restaurant is beautiful.
Our waiter was very kind. Drinks took forever to get. He didn't ask for our order until after we were done eating our appetizers. We weren't sure if he was going to even ask us.
Food was alright. I ordered a filet with a side of bernaise sauce. When our food was brought to the table, it was missing the sauce. I reminded the waiter that I had a side of sauce, and he told me that they do not carry it anymore. If I would have known that before, I would have ordered something completely different. I did eat a portion of the filet, it wasn't my favorite.
LOUD! Very loud, we sat at a round table for 5 and I could barely hear the girl across from me. Also, the shades were down to block the sun but there was still a stream of light shining in my friends face. It was coming from the gap between the shade and window.
I was disappointed with the whole experience. Wouldn't go there again.
Everything was great except for the hostesses. When first entering we were told to wait a few minutes for our table to be ready, which isn’t a problem. 15 minutes go by and nothing, only to find out people have been seated before us. I found the lack of communication to be rude. However, the waiter was fantastic, and the food was as good as it always is.
Always great food and wine!
Love this place. Nice that there was plenty of room. Banoffee pie was the bomb!
A very inconsistent restaurant the it comes to the food. I ordered the crab cake dinner. Crab cakes were warm and fries were cold. Very disappointed with my last visit there! ( Excellent Server!)
Brussels sprouts yummy
The appetizers and entries were very good - For appetizers we shared a veggie goat cheese flat bread, the egg rolls and the calamari- outstanding, I really cannot pick favorites, although I’ll give a slight edge to the calamari. For main course we shared the carbonara gnocchis, short rib risotto and fish and chips - delirious.
The wine was very good, however the cocktails are pedestrian. We had the salted caramel creme brûlée which wasn’t anything special - I definitely couldn’t taste the salted caramel.
My biggest problem was our server who kept on interrupting us - more than the usual. I’m sure he was very experienced, however, this was annoying - interrupting our conversation every 5 min with questions or pushing the wine club.
Cooper's Hawk delivers consistent service across their brands. I dined with my husband and cousin on a Thursday evening at 7:30pm. Service was prompt and on point. The dining room was very busy on arrival but tapered off quite a bit by 8pm. We did salads and entrees, no apps, and a bottle of, I think it was Zin, but maybe a Pinot. The wine was tasty and the food delivered. Two of us had the short ribs and one the pork chops. All were delicious, perhaps a touch over-salted, but not so much to overwhelm. I recommend any of the Cooper's Hawk restaurants if they're in the area you are looking to dine in.
Everyone loved their dinner and wine/cocktails, our waitress was terrific, very prompt and efficient, the noise was a bit too loud although we stayed after most guests had left and it was perfect! Recommend highly to friends. 😃
Love, love Coopershawk. Great service!!! Food is always phenomenal. Love the wine!!!!
The company was fantastic and everyone was friendly.
Our go-to place for great wine, great food, and outstanding service! We love it there!
Late lunch delicious !! Service, excellent !!!
We stopped in for a late lunch on my husbands birthday and requested Paz, our favorite server at Coopers Hawk Arlington Heights. My husband had the burger (it was his birthday), and he said it was amazing. We had never ordered a burger before and he said it was delicious. I had the lunch serving Salmon, delicious. The salmon and the Asian slaw are so good. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Paz brought along birthday celebration dessert, which was absolutely delicious. We appreciate the excellent service that Paz delivers. Thanks Coopers Hawk, see you next time.
My first time at Coopers Hawk and it was nice. Not the most amazing food but it was good. Our server was great and the employees were friendly . I was disappointed at the size of the chocolate covered strawberry we had for dessert. There should have been two based upon the size that they were. Otherwise a good experience.
Love this place... food is great... enjoy the atmosphere...a little pricey but a nice treat
Great place. I was town for business and I always stop by to have dinner great wine and service
Always enjoy going to Coopers Hawk for dinner, good wine and dining with great friends! Sorry to hear they are removing the Pretzel Crusted pork chop, which is very tender, in two weeks. So if you get a chance head on in to try that chop!
Service was outstanding!
Food delicious served very warm.
This is a great restaurant. We’ve been here many times. The food, the service and the prices are great. Wonderful selection of wines.
Appetizer Asian Pork Belly Tostadas and Over the Border Egg Rolls were delicious. They are both kind of an Asian / Mexican fusion and quite tasty.
Entree Trio of Medallions were excellent and cooked perfectly per my request of Rare. The three toppings of Horseradish, Bleu Cheese, and Parmesan-Crusted add a nice / unique flavor profile to each filet.
My wife had the Churrasco Grilled Steak. She thought it was good, but lacked a little in flavor.
My father had the Ginger Soy Glazed Center Cut NY Strip. He though that the steak was very good, however, he did not think of it as being ginger flavored. I personally am not a huge ginger fan. I tried it and really did not taste ginger either, so therefore I liked it quite a bit. But true ginger fans may be a little disappointed.
My mother had the Gnocchi Bolognese with Braised Short Rib. My mother is from Italy, and thought that it was a great dish. The Bolognese sauce had good flavor and did not skimp on meat.
Server was great helping with our food allergies!
It was my fiancé and my anniversary and we went here for our first anniversary that we spent in Chicago and it was a a wonderful occasion to reminisce. AND THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!
Bar area was way too loud.
The hostess Jaime was Fantastic witg helping us get seated and changing our table as we didn’t like the first choice. However our waitress was not very helpful and it seemed as if we were bothering her by asking her to take our order or get another bottle of wine. We are wine club members and have beeb coming to various Coopers Hawks at least once a month for over two years and by far this was the worst waitress we have ever had. Typically you guys are bending over backwards and so attentive however I just felt like she was overwhelmed and too busy to fit our needs. It was very disappointing this time as we werw celebrating a birthday and just felt it waa not the usual service we receive from the normal waiter/waitresses.
Food, as always, was impeccable. Had the churrasco grilled steak. Highly recommend. Substitute fries for a potato. Would have preferred main dining room as opposed to the off to the side room we were in. Otherwise, fabulous as always
I absolutely LOVE Cooper's Hawk. They always have the best food and wine selection. The service is on par and I had an amazing lunch with my best friend.
Love the food and wine. Always enjoy our time there.
Full house on a Friday night with many groups all having a good food snd drinks and a great time in genersl.
Food was good. We really liked our server, but she was clearly overwhelmed. After eating we waited about 25 minutes to pay. I wanted to give her a better tip, but the wait was soooo long. I do want to say we absolutely enjoyed her personality.
