Recently visited Cooperage with god friends to celebrate a special birthday. We did call ahead for a reservation, although it was a weeknight and tables were available to someone who just walked in without a reservation. Weekends would be a must for a reservation! The service was top-notch, very attentive waiter Dan and support staff kept us very satisfied. The menu was extensive, with prix fixed menu selections available the evening we visited. Our party of four, however, all ordered from the creative menu.
We all enjoyed the location of our table, the ambiance, the helpful waiter was not pesty but very available to us during the meal. He explained the dishes on the menu and was pleasant in his chatter.
We all agreed we would return.
VERY ACCOMMODATING TO OUR REQUEST FOR A CERTAIN TABLE. FOOD IS ALWAYS CONSISTENTLY GOOD. "SPECIAL" DESSERT (homemade Linzer-tart à la mode ) WAS OUTSTANDING!
I took friends new to the area. They loved the food and liked the ambiance. It's my first choice of local restaurants when friends visit from out of town. I have never been disappointed.
Server was great. Food was very good.
Pleasant meal with fast early dinner service (6pm). Enjoyed the food. Decor is outdated, but suited the other guests. Not a very young crowd.
The four if us were very satisfied with the quality of the food and the excellent service.
We went there for my birthday, It was wonderful as always!
Food was awful. I was going to get the seared ahi Tuna before I found out it was farmer raised AND frozen. Decor is 50 years dated. Never going back.
Ate there Saturday of restaurant week. The menue was much larger than most. The food was delicious. Our server Adam was friendly and professional. Whenever we are on the east end this is the place to eat.
My husband and I dined at Cooperage to celebrate our anniversary. It was restaurant week, and we ordered from the price fix menu. The selections for appetizer and dinners were good, but the dessert menu could have been better. The waiter was just OK; my husband had to stop eating so he could try to catch his attention to order another beer. When the beer arrived, it was to wrong beer. I would recommend this restaurant; have been there in the past and have had better service. There was a bridal party there that seemed to get the bulk of our waiter's attention; understandably, however, we deserved his attention too.
The Cooperage is one of my favorite restaurants. We were originally seated by the bar and entertainment and asked to be moved to the other side since it was quieter. They were very accommodating and even apologized. The food was delicious as always.
Went for restaurant week special , had a great menu. Apps were very good and dinner choices were great. Went on a Friday and got 1/2 price bottles of wine. Would definitely recommend
We were pleasantly surprised with everything. Loved the baked clams and crab cake. My braised short ribs were yummy.
Great place. Went during restaurant week and they had a fantastic menu.
When I booked app asked if we were celebrating anything it was our Anniversary when we arrived we were wished a Happy Anniversary and also had a candle put in our dessert and again wished a Happy Anniversary from our server
A very nice restaurant, located in a beautiful Long Island area. A fine selection for brunch, although the addition of a “raw bar” would be welcomed. Excellent wait staff.
Food was delicious. Super attentive waiter. Clean beautiful atmosphere
We enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back!
We Always enjoy our meal. Suggest making a reservation.
My friends birthday food was amazing as always
Lovely time - Food was delicious. Visited during East End restaurant week and will go back.
Food and service at the Cooperage is always worth the trip!
It was great to be able to have dinner at the Cooperage Friday evening. Asked for a quiet table and was not disappointed. Food was delicious and server attentive. Really appreciated being able to order organic chicken. Was disappointed that the Cappuccino Mouse cake was sold out but enjoyed delicious rice pudding instead. Thank you Cooperage Inn!
was very satisfied with the price fixed 3 course dinner and both our choices were quite satisfying.
My husband and I enjoyed a date night at Cooperage Inn during restaurant week. We had an awesome waitress who was friendly and helpful. She didn't rush us throughout our dining. The appetizers were tasty, the main entrees were surperb and the desserts were delicious! We also enjoyed a bottle of wine at half price! We had a great dining experience and highly recommend this outstanding restaurant!
We love going to the Cooperage and have had several very special dinners there including our Wedding Reception.
The service is always outstanding and the accommodations are perfect.
Were were very surprised and disappointed that our appetizers were not up to par this time.
However the dinners we had were perfect.
we are regulars , for the past 10yrs and we have never been disappointed
Great meal and great service. Decided to sit in the bar area this time it got a little loud with some ladies having a great time, to be expected but I think I’ll avoid that on the future.
very good food grt service
Always a wonderful experience. Fantastic restaurant!
Service and food were excellent . We loved the relaxed pace of our dineing experience
Excellent service, food was delicious. Music at bar prior to dining made for nice ambiance.
Laura was a most gracious server a pleasure to work with
Friends and myself took my girlfriend out for her birthday and they fokes at the Cooperage inn were great as usual. They helped us with specific details and were very accommodating. The food is always delicious. We love the Cooperage inn!!!
I haven't been to the Cooperage for several years and was happy to go back upon seeing that a friend of mine that is a musician was playing there. The food and atmosphere were superb!!!
As usual service was excellent and food was fine. We always enjoy this place.
Great staff, friendly, food choice of size, with small or large plates, , soft music playing in bar area for background not loud just right. love Scott, I believe he is manager ( if not should be) always helpful and accommodating very friendly, bathrooms are clean, great place year round. Take the time after visiting wineries, farm stands, shopping, for a quick bite, lite meal, or a nice dinner.
We wanted to eat here for a while but never found the opportunity. We finally made it for dinner and had a great time. Good food, good service, good atmosphere.
Great atmosphere, super friendly and attentive staff, great food, and a great value for your money. Will be going back...soon.
Great service & food but quite a bit pricey, especially for a local.
