Great staff, friendly, food choice of size, with small or large plates, , soft music playing in bar area for background not loud just right. love Scott, I believe he is manager ( if not should be) always helpful and accommodating very friendly, bathrooms are clean, great place year round. Take the time after visiting wineries, farm stands, shopping, for a quick bite, lite meal, or a nice dinner.
Great atmosphere, super friendly and attentive staff, great food, and a great value for your money. Will be going back...soon.
Great service & food but quite a bit pricey, especially for a local.
Everything was, as always, excellent. We often go to the Cooperage after an afternoon of wine tasting.
Always love the Sunday brunch; unique delicious menu
Our favorite place when we are out east!!
We took my mother for her 85th birthday and see had a wonderful time. The food and service was excellent. I cannot say enough good things about The Cooperage. I will recommend it to my friends and we will certainly be back.
We love the Cooperage Inn. It is our go to place for intimate dining, great value, friendly service and wonderful ambiance. This occasion was a friend's birthday get together. It was a good time!
Pleasant spot...good service...relaxing...good cuisine
We had a wonderful time. The waiter was great, professional, personable and did an awesome job explaining the special. The menu had many options for everyone. We will definitely will be back. Thank you, well done
This place has a very comfortable atmosphere. The food was amazing as well. I would totally recommend this place to a friend.
Service and meal outstanding
My daughter and I wanted to try the Sunday Brunch. It was amazing! Food was set up beautifully. All dishes were hot and replenished quickly. The staff was most helpful and pleasant to speak with. In fact while I was there I booked our family for Mother’s Day.
We had a wonderful time celebrating my Son's 42nd Birthday with my 3 year oldgrandson and my 95 year old mother. Easy access and the food provided something for everyone. We did the brunch and the selections were great. Thank you to the staff at Cooperidge for helping to make this occasion so very special.
Went here for a brunch date and my boyfriend loved it. Great staff and amazing food. Had a very romantic feel, so glad I chose the cooperage inn.
nicely decorated, attentive waiter, fell short with stale bread, very good salads and dressings, chicken dish very good, stay away from the steak - on the tough side, desert was a highlight
Atmosphere, service and food were excellent! Brunch has always been amazing but this time we went for dinner on Valentines Day.
Always a well prepared, delicious meal. The bartenders are excellent. Very skilled.
Made a reservation weeks in advance, my table we ready when promised. Good food, nice people, not rushed. Thank you
We went to Sunday Brunch for our first time at the Cooperage Inn and it was beautiful - cozy, warm, nicely decorated with a very friendly staff. We took our time eating from the delicious buffet and never felt rushed.
At $31 + pp I felt it was a little steep, especially because I don't do dairy or eggs, so I don't eat much, but there were lots of choices including meats, salads, and fruits! (That is why I chose it as a "special occasion" place.)
My date tried everything including the omelettes, meats, seafood, and desserts and loved it all.
The atmosphere was very charming!
Brunch on Super Bowl Sunday was kind of quiet. Excellent food (for brunch food). Aside from standard stuff that was all good, they served things like mini chicken pot pies, assorted seafood in a really good red sauce, a nice sliced steak creation, and lots of excellent desserts. I'm not a big brunch guy as I don't like to feel so stuffed, but it really was good and my kids thought they were in heaven!
Décor was kind of old / country. Oh, the bar looked like a nice old school, cozy, copper topped bar.
Lots of choices and brunch buffet items not found elsewhere like mini chicken pot pies. Dessert choices are abundant, varied and delicious. Waitress was always there to fill my coffee mug. Great experience. Caution: you will overeat.
Wonderful brunch with a great selection of entrees and deserts; food was delicious!!
Lovely dinner, with excellent food, generous portions, and friendly staff. We arrived a little early for our reservation, so had a drink at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party. Drinks were very good and fairly priced. This was our 4th time dining at the Cooperage Inn and we'll definitely be back.
One slight negative was the table setting. Our reservation was for 6 people, but one of our party got sick at the last minute so we were down to 5, which turned out to be a good thing as they'd put two tables together set for 3 on either side. Whoever would've sat in the middle's plate would have been half on one table and half on the other. Since we were one short, the odd man sat at the head end of the table and everyone had plenty of room.
Food was excellent! Our server Lisa was thoughtful, very friendly and also came back to check on us to make sure everything was alright.
Cooperage a favorite close to home venue
Good food live mudiv
Cooperage-inn never disappoints. Will definitely keep going back.
My wife and I love this place. We come here every weekend. The Service is awesome. They have the best rigatoni ala vodka in the world.
Great place that never disappoints, we took a chance on the last day of Long Island Resturant week 2018 and although service was a little slower than usual, the dishes were of great quality as usual. Highly recommend.
Everyone was super helpful. We arrived early on a very crowded night and the hostesses found us a table in room by the bar where the live music was playing. Our waiter Dan was great and the food & the music were excellent. We had a very nice time.
Wide menu selection, nice atmosphere and attentive waitress. Bartenders could have been more attentive and friendly. Reasonable prices for food and drinks. Hostess was friendly and table was ready at reservation time requested.
We took advantage of LI Restaurant Week and had Saturday night dinner in a restaurant we've passed a dozen times. It was well worth the wait. Appetizers (baked clams and eggplant fries) were terrific, the entrees (baked Atlantic cod and swordfish) were tasty and the desserts (coconut cream pie and ice cream with fresh fruit) were the perfect finishing touch. When we first sat down the room was loud with only one empty table and a guitar player but the music and conversation balanced out and we never thought it was too loud. We're looking forward to going back for the regular menu.
As usual, the food was excellent, as was the service. When we arrived, the hostess assigned us to a small room with live music so loud that we had to ask for a different table in a different room. It seems that live musicians think we come to a restaurant to hear them play and dining and dinner conversation are incidental to the music rather that the other way around. Perhaps I’m just an old crank, but I don’t want to compete with music to hear a conversation or be heard. In any case once we moved the dinner was very pleasant. Our dinner was during Restaurant Week, so there was a special prix fixe menu that offered a full meal for $29.95. Great food at that price— how could you go wrong?
Everything was fine as we have been here multiple times. My only complaint was when we checked in we were asked if we would like to check our coats, we indicated that we did not want to. We were then made to feel as if this was not acceptable and that because we had winter coats we should check them in. I again stated that we did want to use the coat checkin and we were then told that we will need to "sit on our coats". Very Weird........
The food was exceptional. The service was great.
1- We had a reservation and were promptly seated. The drinks and appetizers came quickly but there was a long delay until our dinner was served. I know this was Restaurant Week and expected some delays but 45 minutes was too much. Since it was My Birthday we had after dinner plans so we took our dessert to go.
2- Our take home desserts were so tiny. It was a quarter the size of a regular slice. It was so disappointing especially because it was my Birthday. The dab of whipped creme was bigger than the square chunk of mousse cake!
The food and ambiance was very nice! Server quickly identified and acknowledged that we were a customer who had been to the restaurant before
Delicious Seafood brouse and Encrusted Cod during Long Island Restaurant Week!
Food is always wonderful. Service was exceptional. Special occassions always feel special here.
Great food.. wonderful service.. peaceful, comfortable, soft smooth music..
Good food, well prepared , competent and friendly service in a nice setting. The menu is varied and you should have no trouble finding something to please you. It is a popular local spot with fair prices for the value you get. Have never been disappointed eating there.
