Cooperage Inn Restaurant
The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. Wine makers have always relied on the skills of the Village Cooper to store and age their wines.

A great find. Perfect in every way.
Food was delicious, service was great!! Next time we’d love to try the ambiance on the outdoor dining patio.

We had a delicious lunch today
We love this place and have been eating here for many years
The prices are extremely reasonable even now
The hostess was warm and welcoming and Kerri provided outstanding food and service
It’s a authentic country inn with a beautiful outside dining patio too
We will definitely be back and highly recommend the Cooperage Inn
Food was amazing . Our waitress Bella was so attentive and pleasant . She is an asset to the restaurant . Had a great dining experience
Exceptionally delicious food with a welcoming home feeling in the restaurant… Keep up the good work guys
Birthday dinner for a special lady. Our server Alyssa was amazing and even remembered us from our last dining experience at the Cooperage. Mussels were outstanding as well as the rest of our meal. Not thrilled with the two different price points (cash vs. charge)
Overall, we enjoyed it as we usually do. The food was delicious. Service was a bit slower than usual, as it took almost 15 mins before a server came to talk to us.
Appetizers were very good the food was good. the service was attentive.
Everything was delicious. Only negative wax a fly in one of the dishes
I think it would have been a nice gesture to offer a complimentary dessert to compensate.
Always a wonderful experience: Attentive service, comfortable ambience, delicious food.
The noise level was high due to a festival at the restaurant.
Food was excellent as was the service Place is beautiful
My favorite restaurant. I have never had a bad meal at the Coop.
The food was amazing, the waitress was kind and recommended food for us who are indecisive. The outdoor seating was beautiful and the entire place was decorated for fall with tasteful decor.
Love eating at the Cooperage! Always a lovely, enjoyable experience!
We love Cooperage. It is our go-to. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is outstanding.
Food was amazing!!! Service was phenomenal!!! Definitely going back!!
Delicious meal great service beautiful cozy restaurant
Waitress and food was enjoyable
Celebrated our anniversary with a delicious dinner, served beautifully in a lovely atmosphere.
We received a gift certificate as a present first time we were here food was delicious we will be back even arrived earlier than our reservation and they sat us earlier
Never disappoints. Always great tasting food with a twist!
One of our favorite restaurants, we have been here many times. Excellent service during our most recent visit. Grilled swordfish for me, crab cakes for my wife and baked clams as a starter were all excellent. Peach melba dessert was okay but we, of course, finished it. We sat inside but the outdoor patio seemed to provide a very nice dining atmosphere.
My wife and I do Date Nights.
We made a list minute reservation because we were waiting at another restaurant about 15 minutes away and were watching 3 wait staff try to handle the whole place, including the take-out window. Fortunately, the Cooperage had tables, and as always, we enjoyed our meal very much.
If I could give Alyssa ten stars, I would! It was my father’s birthday lunch, and she was so attentive, upbeat and personable. We need more Alyssa’s in the industry.
Wonderful staff and delicious food and drink!
Food and service both outstanding. Short rib pot pie was worth the trip alone! Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
Love the Cooperage Inn! Always a great meal! Our server was Bella and she was awesome!
Wanted a fast dinner & was in the mood for the chicken pot pie. It was delicious as always along with my cooperidge inn salad. Husband enjoyed his salmon as well.
I have been to this restaurant and I haven’t been there in a while. I brought my boyfriend who had never been there before and it was so disappointing. The food was horrible. My clams were ice cold and stuffed with bread crumb and chewy clams. His muscles made him sick within five minutes of eating them. His creamy pasta dish, well there was nothing creamy about it and he was sick for the rest of the night. The fact that you now have to pay $5 for bread where you used to at least get one roll, is ridiculous. I was embarrassed and I’ll never go there again.
We were late for our dinner reservation, but they accommodated is without issue.
Walking in the Flower Garden puts you in a good mood, with all the pretty flowers and scents.
Wasn't able to sit outside, but it looked really beautiful. We sat at the High tables near the bar. Initially it was a little chilly sitting under an AC vent. The waitress turned it down for us, and just was just very attentive to our needs. The food was really good too. We shared an appetizer, the Crab Cake was very good and had a nice amount of Crab meat. For the entree she had Mussels and I had Jumbo Shrimp and Chicken Francais. Nice amount of food, not a bunch of rice and small pieces of meat.
This is an hour away,, but we went here for a change of pace, and it was worth it.
Food was delicious, service was good, still had to wait 20 mins even with a reservation.
Our waitress was a super hero! She had a great positive attitude and was informative about food. We never waited long for our meals . She had many other tables but it felt like we were her only table. Great place , lots of menu choices and very friendly !
