Only thing missing this time was that it was cold out and we couldn’t sit outside.
Always a lovely experience.

We had a lovely family night at Cookshop. We ordered some small plates to share —deviled eggs, burratta, shaved oyster mushrooms & rice cakes. All outstanding, fresh and inventive! We then had a variety of dinner items (all superb) finished off with a plate of warm cookies. The service was warm and attentive even on a very busy Sunday night. This is clearly a neighborhood favorite & we will be back!

Delicious food, the French toast was decadent, creamy, fruity and crunchy with the nuts. Everything we ate and drank was top notch. Love the vibe too, and great service. Coffee is expensive though at $5!

Excelent place to have a nice dinner with your date. The staff was really friendly and the t-bone steak was amazing

Great restaurant. The hostess was very friendly and the manager came around to ask how everything was. Every dish was cooked with precision. We had a vegetable pizza which was light and extremely flavorful along with grilled cabbage which was excellent. The chicken and pork were outstanding. The pork might have been the finest Berkshire pork i have ever had. Worth the trip.

What would have been a positive experience ruined by intolerable noise level. Impossible to carry a conversation at our four top. Noisier then at the ballpark! A real shame to pay attention to food sources, preparation and then not to find ways to soften the noise level- not energetic, just draining!

Restaurant had great people watching, but menu was extremely limited. Service was very good, reservation was on time. Just thought it was OK...

Cookshop gets all the elements right. The food is delicious. The service is terrific -- responsive, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere is comfortable, active, yet relaxing. The restaurant was at capacity, but the effort they put into sound management really pays off. I had no problem having a comfortable conversation. The music was at the right level - background only. (Thank you!!)

The only strange thing I experienced is the placement of the restrooms in full view of the kitchen. It was interesting to see the operation in action, but still really odd. Also, and this is a just a pet peeve of mine, they need to fix the hooks in the bathroom. Where does one hang a coat or a bag, which was my situation since I used the restroom on the way out. In the big scheme of things this is really minor though.

I will definitely return!!

As usual, Cookshop delivered good, honest, tasty food by an efficient and friendly staff. The room needs an update and more room between tables.

We love Cookshop, it is a regular lunch spot for us. The food is consistently good, service is always charmingly intelligent & the atmosphere buzzes. Dinner was the same and it was fun to experience the grown ups menu. We are happy Cookshop is our local.

Much too noisy. We couldn’t hear each other even when shouting but we could hear the table right next to us. The food was tasty but not good enough to make up for the atmosphere.

I love a "farm to table" restaurant but found the food at cookshop stopped at the oil and salt bar before arriving at the table. Both diners felt full and bloated afterwards having ordered veggies and fish.

We went to cookshop to have brunch a few girlfriends. Our service was top rate and our food was very good. Didn't love the grits but the green juice was wonderful and the frittata was delicious and loved the grain bowl. Restaurant is bright and has a great vibe.

We were given a bad table with the third person having to sit on the window sill. They quickly changed tables for us. I don't think that table should be given to parties of three.

Our recent visit to Cookshop did not disappoint. The lasagna with nettles and the pizza with ramps (first of the season) were great. The simple salad was elegant (and very tasty). The root vegetable remoulade was a bit surprising - thin slices rather than julienne -- and very good. Excellent martinis and a great wine selected for us. The kitchen also sent out a little something extra, as well. A great experience.

Had the beignets. They were hot and amazingly delicious. We also split the corned beef hash. The food was flavorful and fresh - definitely lived up to the reviews. The service was equally amazing Next time we are in the meatpacking district, we'll be making another reservation.

Been to Cookshop many times over the years and it has yet to disappoint. Our recent visit was especially delicious and if you go I recommend the cassoulet which was outstanding. The fish stew was also a hit for two at our table. Brussels sprouts, burata, chenin blanc all delicious. It is regularly great, one of the best restaurants in NYC.
