Great food, great service, great atmosphere.
Service was a little slow but food was delicious
The place is specious, but gets noisy although it was only half full.
We had diner. The food was okay. Considering the price, I expected more.
Service was snobby.
Basically, a good place to have something small and seat more speciously than other restaurants. Maybe the breakfast is better.
Perfect for a Sunday Brunch. Good food, vegetarian delicious opcions, lovely atmosphere
Nothing objectionable other than the noise level and the bill. I mean the food was ok. But $180 for a meal I could have had in NJ--pizza and a precious deconstructed Greek salad, tabouleh salad, seared shishito peppers and 3 drinks?? just not worth it.
Group of friends from out of town, wanted to take them to have great food!
Wait staff are wonderful
Fun local spot to eat
Morning weekday brunch the best quiet smooth
We really enjoy seasonal farm to table fare and Cookshop is an outstanding example. Bright, fresh flavors from local corn and heirloom tomatoes made our meal taste like late summer. The service, in a simple and pretty atmosphere is the perfect balance of crisp and warm. Although other reviewers commented on the excessive noise level, we found the volume to be comfortable, even when the restaurant was full. We’re definitely down for a repeat!
Always good and always lively.
I had the frittata which was very nice but a bit salty. The greens on top were absolutely amazing. My husband had the almond flour pancakes with blueberries and it was very good. We enjoyed it very much.
Our favorite restaurant by far! Consistently clean, delicious interesting food with top notch service. There is nothing better!
Cute place for brunch. Food was excellent.
Great place for brunch. The place is always crowded, so reservations is a must. The cocktails are great and the food is very tasty. My only complain is that the menu has not changed in many years. Maybe its time to take a look at it. They're so many skillet eggs one can eat.
Beautifully prepared, fresh, seasonal dishes. Excellent service from beginning to end. Great mix of people with a low-key buzz.
No matter how often you dine here it's reliable. You know that the food and service are going to be excellent . The chef creates haute cuisine utilizing local and sustainable ingredients. The service staff is knowledgeable and engaging, offering insight and adult beverage pairing. A fun and satisfying dinner awaits.
We had to wait a half hour before being seated, even with a reservation. Not ideal.
Not child/baby friendly!!! At all! We had 2 babies with us and they sat us by the door near the bar on high stools. The restaurant has only half full and they obviously didn’t want us to have seats inside.
Limited menu but delicious. Attentive service. Outside seating is a plus as well as bar area tables.
During my 3 day stay in NYC, the best food I had. Definitely worth putting on the list
Great food and NYC vibe. Place is constantly changing the menu, which lets one try different entrees. My go to place for business meetings or a friend get together.
AS always, Cookshop did not disappoint. It was my first time for brunch, and it was great.
Inspired food, great service - can't wait to go back!
Very professional service and food that is clean and reliably very good. Heirloom tomato and roasted chicken were both excellent.
As someone who eats there often... the check in process was less than acceptable
Google/your website.... showed you were open today at 8 am
It now shows you opened today at 1030.... you actually opened at 10 am?
don’t ridicule your customers for mistakes such as these
Excellent food and server was amazing! Great atmosphere-always busy. Love this place!!
Great food and service!
It’s a nice restaurant with good food but the dining room is insanely noisy. It’s so loud you have to scream to be heard.
Loud construction outside at the moment.
Love this place. I have been several times but brought friends that have never been. They declared Cookshop as our permanent meeting place
We were charged $16 and $17 respectively for a plate of heirloom tomatoes and a plate of burrata cheese for one of our team members. Outrageous!
We’ve been going to Cookshop for over 12 years and it’s always been a favourite. From the variety of appetisers such as the soups, to the perfectly cooked mains, and of course the desserts! We always leave happy. The cheesecake sundae is divine. Here are a few photos from our most recent visit(s).
Great food. Very loud. The waiter offered us "complimentary tap water or sparkling water", which was a bit offputting but otherwise great place!
We were seated almost 30 minutes after our reservation time and once seated service took forever. Our waiter came over when we seated and asked out water type, then we didn't see him again for 15 mins and our drink orders took about 15 mins. Lots of wait time.
We loved our food and the attentive + friendly service. Only drawback is that my ears are still ringing an hour later.
The food was so fresh and flavorful! We will definitely be back!
I would recommend Cookshop to all of my friends with the caveat that it's more quiet to eat outside on busy Tenth Avenue than to eat inside. Therefore, I can't go to the restaurant with several 'foodie' friends who have hearing issues. And, even for me, it's not easy to have a conversation. But I love the food and the very friendly service.
Service was on point! We only had small plates and they didn’t disappoint! Drinks a bit pricy, but tasty. Good for any day of the week!!
